Hi Barb & Bob. Enjoyed the tour. We were fortunate to have friends who lived near San Fransisco on their sailboat. We spent a week with them and sailed under the Golden Gate Bridge and anchored for the night near Ange lsland and visited there on their dingy. .it was so beautiful and amazing. This was back in the 80s and San Fransisco was really nice. We went to Alcatraz and rode down the famous twisty street. Hope you visited the redwoods across the bridge also. California is gorgeous and to have the Spyder there would be so wonderful. God Bless you both.
John & Miriam are coming down to key west and we are meeting them and another spyder couple near Daytona next Saturday for lunch. Excited. We are leaving for North Carolina June 5 for some gospel concerts and fun riding around Asheville and Dahlonaga. Can’t wait. Ray & Linda

I am so jealous. Have an amazing time with them and give them kisses for us. I do have some redwood videos that are already up. My next California video will be a combination of Alcatraz and Angel Island and then I think we will move down to Joshua tree for videos after that

Some of those roads looked like a lot of fun on the Spyder. The "pea smell" at the Golden Gate Bridge lookout area is a shame. It's good to know about the vehicle smash n grab issues, to hopefully avoid being a victim. California is huge, I could easily dpend several weeks there. 😁👍👍

Great video. We’ve never camped anywhere near San Francisco or California in general. Sad about the situation there with crime and homelessness. Enjoyed the ride. ❤

Hi Bob, hi Barb. It means that there is an environment of thieves in San Francisco, as there is little to no consequences for that behavior. So sad. My moms younger brother has lived in the Mission District of San Francisco since 1974. Angie and I have loved spending time at Lynns over the years and exploring the city. Last time we were there was in 2016. It really is an amazing city. Looks like you two had an awesome ride and the info.

Enjoyed this video! The current state of San Francisco makes me so sad! Such a beautiful town with a rich history.

Just curious, I am retired military looking into buying a Can-Am Spyder... and I love the look of yours...!!! Please tell me more about it (model, spec, year, color code, etc). Thanks!

2019 Can-Am Spyder RT limited. When we bought it it was brand new and the box in 2020 and had not been used. It is considered the Chrome edition. However, we did add some additional Chrome to it because Bob is old school and how he likes his bikes. The color is Oxford blue and it's a 13 30 cc rotac motor. The motorcycle itself is built in Canada, but the motor is built in Austria. We did a ton of research before we decided to purchase the RV, the truck and the Can-Am Spyder. And then when he came dying to buy we spent more research trying to make sure we were dealing with an honest no-nonsense seller dealership which we had did have trouble fighting some initially. Based on this is a price you call them. We don't have those but we have these at more expensive. So just make sure you do your research and you know how much it is and how much you're willing to pay and then find a good dealership. We dealt with a place in Ohio. I will go find our video from when we picked it up and they gave Bob instructions on how to ride it and attach that in a separate comment cuz that will help you. Secondly, we're considered Texans now that we're full-time rvers and we needed to have a class b added to Bob's license for the motorcycle. I don't know if it's like that in every state, I don't think so. I hope this helps. This is Barb by the way. If you have any more questions please ask. Bob is full of knowledge on this kind of stuff.

As a side note, the bike's name is Blue Spydee and we definitely thank you for your service and your commitment to the country. We do have a playlist that should say Can-Am Spyder rides so you can see how we really wrote it hard on The tail of the dragon. Meaning Bob pushed it as hard as he could and Harley's kept getting in our way lol. But this bike has a Nanny system that's meant to protect you from flipping it over. That was the most he'd ever pushed it though. We have lots of rides out in South Dakota and other rides as well. We love it! We park our RV wherever we want and then we head out like today. We're in a Love's RV travel stop park and we rode all to the Badlands and did some hiking. Sorry for the long answer. Just get super excited about our life.

On behalf of all those who served, and those who are still serving - thank you for your support…!!!
I have really enjoyed my many years of 2-wheel experiences (Kawasaki, Honda, BMW, H-D Rocker C); but as I mentioned, I am retired now, and time (and other issues) indicate I need more “stability and comfort” on the road… in fact, my wife insists on it…!!! So we are looking into getting a Spyder RT Limited to travel around during retirement. (Running from that rocking chair!). Your ‘Blue ‘ is absolutely gorgeous and we think that color and chrome is what we should go for too. Thanks so much for sharing… and enjoy your rides…!!! We will definitely be watching out for more of your videos…!!!
