After being on the road for 4 years South Dakota is still our favorite state to ride in.

We do not have an onboard fueling station. As you can see ours is kind of a garage model. Our truck has 40 gallons for diesel and then we have an additional 40 gallons for diesel in the back so we can go pretty far with the truck and the camper pulling when we get good prices on diesel. But no, not on the Can-Am. Typically it's $14 this year to fill it up, no matter where we've been until we got to Big Bend and it's 24.

I know your video was long. Thanks for watching it. We are going to get the Starlink mini in January. 4 years and ok but Texas is tough. We have been in Big Bend park and surrounding area with no internet. That is why it took so long for your video to go up. We appreciate you so much and I'm glad you are my sister

It was a true learning experience. Plus no more mayflies for me lol. We are down in dusty big bend Texas. We leave Monday for Conroe. We will head home by truck for Xmas on the 18th. Can't wait to see Ariel. I'm sure your grandbaby is getting big. Love you guys

We had stated only I think two before so this was a big change for us but we enjoyed it except for the one that had the mayflies LOL.

@@soldonrvlife It is one that is in process that needs to be done. The best part of it was I snatched the Little House on the prairie hat off of mannequin and put it on my head and Bob snapped a picture and I put it back lol

We love them because they are so peaceful and relaxing and even on holidays you don't have all the rowdies. It's very nice.

And, with the America the Beautiful Pass they are half price. Stayed at one on Land Between The Lakes, in KY, for under $10 a night with water and electric. Doubt I could get the fifth wheel in that one. Had my Leisure Lite.

@DocLord901 I do know there are some that are difficult to get in. So far we've not encountered those other than just dealing with tighter roads and trees LOL

Yeah the video went up on a weird day because it was a lot of work and we're in area where internet is a little sketchy

I believe we show it in the video but it has 110 volts. We drilled a hole in the counter came right up into an outlet. And if you're not on shore power, you can light it with a lighter. Thank you so much for watching and commenting

You video has been a HUGE help. I am about 3/4 the way done. I found a new glass top 4-bunner stove that someone had bought but never had installed. Yea! I have the hole cut and it fits and I have the supports under the counter all done. Next it the electricity, the vent, and hook everything back up! Thanks again for your inspiration. I tried to add a couple of pics but couldn't figure out how to add them to this reply.

Hey Ray and Linda, I hope you guys are doing well. Thank you so much for your kind words and it was definitely the most scariest thing I've ever been through because I kept thinking I could stop myself and at the point when I finally said okay I'm going. I hit the rock and stopped.

@ We can only imagine. Linda and are getting a little less adventurous on our hikes any more. It’s frustrating not feeling as able to do things like we use to. At least our falls have been mostly on level ground. Hugs to you and Bob. I’m sure he was scared to see and hear you in that situation.

@rayhjohnson he was super brave and that's why I keep crying cuz I was so fearful that he was going to try to save me and then get hurt himself. But I should have known better. He's always my hero. And he pushed me back up the hill. I had to really dig my feet deep in to get up because there was just nothing to hold on to

I would definitely agree. The whole mountain is covered with blue chaladony. It is definitely a protection stone. I don't know what the one was I was going for. It was a color I had never seen before on this mountain. We have found quartz, tiger eye, opal, limestone and some others. But being careless is never important and I've never felt like that before. So I will definitely not be doing this again.

@HetteshWorld Hope that your experience will help others. OBTW - it is not the fall that hurts, it is the sudden stop at the end! OBTW #2 - did you see "Wile E. Coyote"? He was chasing the "Road Runner" and probably fell off the mountain too!!

Bob said he's going to put a leash on me. He hadn't realized that I had not moved on with him. He was looking at rocks down the road where it was safer and that he thought he heard a rock slide and then he finally heard me call for him.

@@HetteshWorld Girl, you are too important to this world to lose, even if the little rock were a diamond. Your smile, the way you and Bob laugh together and the happiness you bring to all of us. Something I'm still trying to learn is to listen to that little inner voice that says "nope" and makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up... This world needs you both! So glad it worked out...
