Gosh, just last year, I started at the Lands End Trail, like the Presidio, and walked the Golden Gate Bridge and back to Fishermans wharf. It was quite an experience. ❤️🙏🏼
We walked the Golden Gate Bridge almost around the same time you did, April 2023. I was there with my now ex gf. Good memories!! Bittersweet watching this
Maybe this is just my bucket list for CA but: the forest in San Francisco that was used for Endor, a low key winery in Nappa, Joshua Tree, LaJollo, Disneyland, Salton Sea, a weed farm in Humboldt County, Golden Gate Bridge, Hollywood Sign, Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, and The Chinese Theater.
San Francisco is my favorite tourist city. I have walked the bridge a few times back in the 1990s. Saw the Blue Angels 50th anniversary Fleet of Ships from standing on the middle of the bridge as the ships and aircraft carriers floated underneath. The Presidio was still there at the time and the fog horn was very loud.
This video is amazing and so informative. I love visiting San Francisco. It’s my favorite place. Monterey Bay Aquarium as well as San Francisco Zoo is AMAZING! Great video
It’s a great walk ! We’ve hired bikes at the Ferry Building and rode all the way down the Embarcadero to the Fort. Then over the bridge to Sausalito. You can catch the Ferry back to SF. What a great day 😊
I loved crossing the Golden Gate Bridge, we got the kids a badge that they crossed the bridge. Our youngest expected it more golden. Wish to go back some day. Love this video.
I'm 62, grew up and lived in the East Bay for decades, and never have walked the bridge. Good for you and your family for making the walk. Love your content and style. I'll support that the vista point right after the end of the bridge going northbound is a great spot for pics if you're driving. You can't get to the vista point southbound.
Great video. Your little ones are absolutely the best tour guides/historians, UCSF , USF , UC Berkeley and San Fran state ought to be clamoring to give them tenure , not to mention, they're adorable to boot!! 😊
Loved this video with your family!!! I walked across on July 4, 2019 and it was one of the coldest, windiest, loudest, and cloudiest/foggiest walks in my life!!!🤣But I loved it!!!
If you still in the SF area Muir Woods redwood forest is awesome. Our family would go there in the summer almost every weekend and hike around to escape the Central Valley heat.
I live one hour from GGB n I visited the place long time ago but I didn’t walk the entire bridge😢. Now it’s in my list Gracias a ti! Beautiful children!
It’s so sweet to see your twins grow right in front of our eyes. Great video, I’ve never crossed the bridge walking. I’ve always wondered where do people park to go walking on the bridge. Now I know lol 😁
Never knew you could walk across the bridge. I’m sure it’s cold and windy cuz SF gets chilly. Been in CA almost 38 yrs and driven over the bridge many times but never considered walking it. I might do that next time I’m in SF. As far as bucket list, I think I’ve done most things here I’ve wanted to do, see all the highlights for me except….. Joshua tree national park. It’s still on my list and I know you’ve been there many times. I’m hoping to finally go, even if it’s just a day trip or an overnighted cuz I’d love to see the desert in bloom and visit anza borrego as well. But everyone should see Yosemite in their lifetime. As well as the redwoods and sequoia trees. As far as urban adventures, I’d love to do a walking tour of old town LA, the Bradbury bldg and union station and all that. Anyone visiting LA for the first time should take in our iconic museums, Getty, Huntington library, Norton Simon, tar pits, natural history and science museums, Griffith park observatory, to mention a few
The video was very well-made. The editing was smooth, the music was upbeat, and the narration was informative. I learned a lot about the Golden Gate Bridge, and I'm definitely going to have to add it to my own bucket list. What's your favorite thing about living in California?
Great video! My goal was to get some nice photos of the bridge from the South side & to walk on the bridge rather than cross right over. Now I wish I'd walked further - oh well!😂
I visited the SF bridge in 2022 i did not know you could walk across the bridge i though was only for cars to drive across so i guess next time ill be sure to walk across the bridge i wanna take my younger sister with me i think she would like to go across the bridge
Why is it that on my very first and maybe ONLY trip to San francisco I DIDN'T WALK ON THE BRIDGE!???? I drove on it twice, parked, looked at it from afar took a bunch of photos but I didn't even THINK of walking on it!!!!
Car break ins in SF is so crazy, many locals just leave the windows open after having windows smashed multiple times. I personally avoid the bay area at all costs.
Went to SF a few months ago... just not the same, homeless everywhere, had someone pulling the handlebar of my rearseats on a bike when we were sitting at a red light... it is insane. Since you already did a LA and a SF must do, next on the bucketlist had to be SD.
@@JP-dz7zu You know what...Yeah SF has its problems, as most big cities do. But I can assure you that there isn't any feces, or hypodermic needles on the GGB. SF is made up of 11 districts, with the Tenderloin being were the homeless mostly are, & homeless issues. But its folks like you that love to exaggerate the situation in San Francisco 24/7.🤔
I'm 77, mexican. I thank you for your delicious glimpse of the Golden Gate and your family.
Born and raised in San Francisco. The bridge and fort are my favorites.
I wish I was born in raised in San Francisco as well instead of Corona California but San Francisco is more bigger and Hilly then my hometown Michelle

Good experience?
Walked from the car park to the north tower with a 6 year old back many years ago! Rog.Pacific Sunset (LA).

Thank you so much from New Zealand. Dreaming of coming to travel USA one day

You keep knocking it out of the park! 😀 Congratulations on having the cutest kids!!
Great choice for #2. Looking forward to choice #3!
I Just Left San Francisco On A Four Day Three Night Stay It Was Beautiful!

I bet you and your family loved walking across the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco and the cold wind was less stronger which is good!
Love driving in that bridge it’s amazing 😍
That’s wicked cool! I’d love to walk across that with my son. Great bucket list item!
I happened to be at the bridge during Fleet Week a few years ago and it was cool to see everything from the top of the Fort!
Great video. Your little ones are absolutely the best tour guides/historians, UCSF , USF , UC Berkeley and San Fran state ought to be clamoring to give them tenure , not to mention, they're adorable to boot!! 😊

Lovely video, too bad I didn't see you there :) Can't wait for number 3.

What a nice family. Thanks for all the great videos!
Love it 😍 The kids are getting so big. I need to plan a trip to SF 👏🏻
Nice video. Did you know that Lisbon (Portugal) has a bridge similar to The Golden Gate and it is called The 25th April Bridge
I live one hour from GGB n I visited the place long time ago but I didn’t walk the entire bridge😢. Now it’s in my list Gracias a ti! Beautiful children!
Thanks for another great video! I love visiting San Francisco.
Great video for the next CA bucket list item I’d be curious to see more about Joshua Tree/Palm Springs - that’s an area of CA I have yet to make it to
It’s so sweet to see your twins grow right in front of our eyes.
Great video, I’ve never crossed the bridge walking. I’ve always wondered where do people park to go walking on the bridge. Now I know lol 😁
Thank you so much! Yea it is crazy to me to watch these videos and see the kids grow so much too.
Kids are adorable!
When I was in California years ago I wanted to do this but I ran out of time. I would love to do it someday.
Spent most of my life living West of redwood City, an Never walked the GGB. It's definitely on my list

Walking the GGB is great.......as long as there is no fog to contend with. 😀
My mom was on the bridge the day it opened!! SF is her home town. ❤❤❤

Beautiful 😊
Please tour Hearst Castle

how about that griffith park area with the miniature trains, is that still around?
Lots of break ins …. Very nice SF
Great video 🔥🔥🔥
lol Jack is awesome, just honest,
Why is it that on my very first and maybe ONLY trip to San francisco I DIDN'T WALK ON THE BRIDGE!???? I drove on it twice, parked, looked at it from afar took a bunch of photos but I didn't even THINK of walking on it!!!!
Do the train ride from Roaring Camp to Santa Cruz boardwalk.
One Day I'll be there 😂❤❤❤
It looked as if there was construction going on below the main deck. Is this true and are they expanding it?
I am not really sure what they are doing with it
Happy to watch you do it. Too much height for my taste.
That area has been used as a backdrop for a lot of movie scenes over the years.
It really has!
Since when are there nets there
I see picture on the internet where the Golden Gate Bridge is window framed (you're looking out from the inside).
I have a fear of heights, I enjoy this video. THAT
THANKS
I walked across the golden gate bridge and back once about 40 years ago, and never again, I was absolutely petrified the whole time and hated it.
Car break ins in SF is so crazy, many locals just leave the windows open after having windows smashed multiple times.
I personally avoid the bay area at all costs.
I have to know when that person dropped the phone did they drop it into the water?
It actually got caught on a part of the bridge about 15 feet below but no one had any idea how to get it haha
Went to SF a few months ago... just not the same, homeless everywhere, had someone pulling the handlebar of my rearseats on a bike when we were sitting at a red light... it is insane. Since you already did a LA and a SF must do, next on the bucketlist had to be SD.
My fear of heights wouldn't let me walk not even half way across. I tried though.
Same, except my fear of human feces and hypodermic needles keep me out of the Bay Area all together.
I totally understand, it is a little scary to be up that high
