Hi Does this Thinkdiag works on al smartphones like Samsung Is the tool capable to be used without paying a yearly-subscription ... Or each time you need to diagnose a different vehicle ?
I think this is a fantastic product. Effectively it's a full Launch (I have used Launch products for over 10 years now) scan tool. In my opinion, the Launch is the second-best scan tool out there. Autel is in general a bit better on average but very expensive. However, with the number of updates coming through now, this could change.
Thinkdiag is very nice tool for diagnostics, most detailed, special functions and good price for what it offers. Non expierenced users should be carreful with coding and special functions. Highly Recommend.
By the time you buy all the basic functions in the app you could have buy a better scan tool with all the options already. You get 1 free brand but then have to pay for every brand you want to do anything more than an obd2 scan on. On top of that its a yearly payment. Then you have to pay for each reset function on the tool.
Actually if you purchase it now you get all the makes for FREE, completely unlocked…. I just ordered mine and confirmed, it makes it well worth the price.

Another one to consider that's worth a look is the XTool Anyscan a30. At about 130 pounds it offers most makes and models including bi-directional scanning and all the resets. Ive had mine for just over a year, great cheap scanner, however.... I have also been unable to do any coding. I have a honda, & both iphone & android. Without the coding, there are a dozen other scanners that do the same things for the same price. The coding was what hooked me, & it looks to be a false claim, i have yet to find anyone who has actually done it with this tool.
Many Sprinter owners can do coding. Very popular with Sprinter owners. If it works with Sprinter it has to work with others. Android is the key though.
*THIS SCANNER IS GOOD TO HAVE BECAUSE BY JUST CLEARING THE CODE THE ENGINE PROBLEM IS MAGICALLY FIX*
Not a good idea lol
Isnt that how it works LOL Manufacturers build in randomised error codes they can clear for you at a cost of £100 a time.
any 10£ chinesioum obd code reader from ebay will do the same. Been there, done that.
