The difference between their personalities in this argument also mirrors their different playing styles. No he’s not. He was sacked and at the time the whataboutery was fully relevant because Carragher was an employee of the same company that had different acceptance standards for him. They go on like Carragher walked up to a little girl n spat in her face. He was being goaded by a rival fan with a camera trying to get a reaction, Carragher stupidly gave him the reaction he was looking for and unfortunately it was the guys daughter who ended up on the receiving end. Although if you watch the video he didn't seem overly concerned for his daughter, in fact he seemed quite happy about the money he knew was about to make
He was having the Micky taken out of him that’s all. Carragher then spat at them. The fact that it hit the blokes daughter, does not excuse him. SkySports said they needed to protect their image yet kept Carragher who's actions were far worse over someone who had a difference of opinion. Hypocrisy of the highest level
Old saying NOT WHAT YOU KNOW, WHO YOU KNOW
Fucking love this bloke from a player till now loyal relaxed and just doesn’t give a shit 👏👏👏
SaDLY "just doesn’t give a shit", doesn't pay the bills.
Sky sacked Andy Gray for laughing at women refereeing football and Matt for not being a woke shill. But kept Carra after he's seen raging at a driver before spitting at his 14 year old daughter....Welcome to the 2020's
Matt wasnt sacked , he didnt get his contract renewed like many others
What's with background buzzing?
When did Matt say “They Should SACK Carragher”? I did not hear him say that.
Does it have to be explicit for you to get it?
What Matt says means one of two things...
1- if Matt deserved the sack, then Carragher should definitely be sacked as well
2- If Carragher did not deserve the sack then Matt definitely doesn't either.
@@khalil7708IT is in double-quotes in the title. It is more than a suggestion that those are the words that M. Le T. said. Inferences can be drawn, but it is a sloppy title.
@@ThatGuy-tx4vm Correct. That is what can be inferred from what M. Le T. says. But it is not what @FreshAlchemy has questioned. The title is misleading.
@@JohnPreston888 i agree the title is misleading. The Khalil comment though seems to assume that le tissier actually did suggest it in a non exlicit way... he didn't.
The difference between their personalities in this argument also mirrors their different playing styles. Le Tiss was a gifted entertainer, probably one of the most talented of his generation, but he was so laidback that he was never too concerned about counting trophies and England caps, he just wanted to play the beautiful game. Carragher just tried to make up for his lack of talent with aggression and determination, not to mention a fair amount of foul play and shithousery. He was essentially a footballing troll and now he has become a punditry troll.
One of the mystery of life how carragher played over 600 games for liverpool
I’m a Liverpool Scouser and you are right he should have been sacked, dirty thing to do spitting at someone,no need for it ,they get to big for their boots ,good on you Matt,👍
A Liverpool Scouser eh?
Same from me .A Liverpool Scouser😂😂😂

Matt should have his own show so level headed
Granted he comes across like that here, but history shows he's not the full ticket.
@@GreenSaxon well the leftwing media certainly show it's not the full ticket but we don't hear you complaining about that.

Clickbait garbage! He did not say this. He said quite the opposite: he doesn't care about Carra. Stop with the clickbait trash.
Im not bitter but still banging on about it 2 years later
Exactly and slowly slowly trying to bad mouth the other guys who were they who had nothing to do with him being sacked. I’m not even saying he shouldn’t be bitter but u wish he’d stop acting like he’s this absolute angel who was taken in by such evil, he was perfectly happy taking sky money for many many years.
@@COYBIG1967 this is it he was never sacked, just didn't get his contract renewed like many others at sky.But as we know Matt likes to bend the truth to fit his own agenda
@@andrewjohnston6338 I can’t say about the bending the truth as I honestly don’t know that but I do agree he’s not only constantly going on about something he “doesn’t care about” or “need” but he’s also trying to take digs at his ex colleagues. It’s a shame he didn’t get his contract renewed but to react to that by saying well how come you didn’t sack this guy at this time etc etc is poor and you can say what you like about the spitting incident with carragher but that was a while before this and he didn’t get sacked so to them attempt to just throw your colleagues under a bus kind of tells me what sort of guy he is. Also it appears by things he says he didn’t like almost everyone he worked with anyway so they done him a favour. His own words “I don’t need the money “ .
@@COYBIG1967 I don’t think he worked with Carragher, so he wasn’t really a colleague. I think he’s entitled to bitter, but he is engaging in whataboutism. As for the spitting incident being a long time ago, it happened in 2018 Le Tissier lost his job in 2020, so he is entitled to ask the question.
He’s not banging on about it buddy. He was asked a question and answered it. Analyse things correctly hey before writing incorrect things. Ok? Capiche?
I tried to become a professional footballer but I couldn’t spit far enough !!
😂😂😂
As an LFC fan, he's absolutely right about Carragher.
Matt is articulate and honest.
Can't stand Carragher or the direction Sky Sports has gone in. Would rather have tik tokers than this legend. I spit on the face of Sky Sports
I wonder what name Matt Le Tiss used for Jamie Carragher in his phone contacts?
Spitty !
Saying he 'spat at a little girl' is disingenuous and obviously false. 100% agree with the overall point, though.
Not only did he spit at a girl and her family.
He actually hit her .
It's not disingenuous, it's a fact.🤡
Well said Matt. Keep being the logical voice and upholding your standards as a class act
I’m not bitter he says in his 28th interview about his sacking 🤔
You can be not bitter and still feel it's a public service to tell that story. If it wasn't true, it would be different. He certainly doesn't look bitter.

Carragher done more harm than Matt yet he’s the one that got sacked
He spat water from his moving car at another car that was driving dangerously next to him and shouting abuse at him… The young girl must have been in hospital for weeks following the injuries sustained
Le Tissier turning into a lunatic and alone has the charisma of a potted plant… hardly worth keeping him on for the 17 Southampton supporters that enjoy their representation of former players in the media

It’s impossible not to like and have huge respect for MLT. I’d much rather listen to him as a genius rather than 99% of the other pundits
The narrative of this story has changed now to Carragher purposely spat at a young girl in a car…..he didn’t….he spat at a guy abusing him not aware that a girl was there. Spitting is the lowest of the low and I agree he should have been more harshly dealt with but let’s get the facts right as there’s a huge difference between spitting at a bloke winding you up and choosing to spit at a young innocent girl.
So
So spitting at a person is ok,don't be so ridiculous it's pathetic.carragher should never be allowed on social media snakes spit venom not humans
And that folks is the difference between a yes man and someone who has the integrity to speak his mind
Well said Matt.
Sky are hypocritical.
Had you been an ex Liverpool player, you would still be in a job with them.
Not exactly true, they sacked Phil Thompson and he's an ex Liverpool player and he did nothing wrong
It's not a job for life. Eventually people move on. They were lucky to have the gig for so long. They made their mark and will be remembered for their brilliance. A change was always gonna happen one day though
I have to agree with him. Sky have double standards & Carragher should never have been reinstated. To spit at someone is the lowest of low.
Yes please. My ears can’t take his voice, emotional tone and accent. Let alone the contents of his speech whenever I understand him.
Glad u noticed that 2; not against scousers but Carra really irks me..
He talks so fast that if he were a car, he'da run overhimself atleast 6x; he always seems t b gasping f breath. Subtitles should b a definite must when he opens his cakehole just t try an make sense of what he's on about.
Arrogant 2 an looks like Keane can't stand his pretencious know-all about football from Roys body language when Carra opens his gob and rattles on.

I love Matt's attitude to life. So matter of fact but doesnt get resentful. He acknowledges wrong doing and moves on. A real man.
Jamie carragher is absolutely brilliant at handing it out but horrendous at taking it back. Saw it again yesterday when arsenal beat liverpool. Instead of just accepting that all teams have bad days at the office he is crying about arsenals celebrations. Best bit is liverpool throughout the years have been the worst for milking celebrations 😂
Matt a great player and a great guy lovely to see him with a smile on his face not a bad bone in his body
Matt is a pure legend in every sense of the word!
Why does he start singing opera at 2:19..??
I’ve always hated the fact that sky stuck with Carragher and dismissed Le Tissier. Wtf’s with that. Ridiculous
I’d rather get punched than spat at. It’s absolutely disgusting. I hate seeing his mug whenever I’m watching football, which isn’t that often thankfully but, every time I do and I see him, I just wanna turn it off.
I love Matt but that headline is 100% clickbait and a lie. Matt never said that.
While slightly sympathising with Le Tissier, you can argue he’s not taking responsibility for his actions by his engaging in whataboutism.
No he’s not. He was sacked and at the time the whataboutery was fully relevant because Carragher was an employee of the same company that had different acceptance standards for him.
Theres misplaced distracting whataboutery and theres valid relevant whataboutery. Le Tiss’s version is totally relevant and justified.
Yeah, “the world is against me” type of attitude is a kind of pathetic. It was hilarious when he said Carragher should take responsibility.
This guy is hilarious . . . takes no responsibility for what he says and cries about the repercussions.
@joshbutler8147 So you actually think spitting on someone is somehow better than criticising someone, what an absolute and total 🔔end you must be,so you are actually saying you would rather have someone spit on your wife, daughter or mother than critique them, unbelievable totally unbelievable,I'm sorry if he did that to anyone I know and was there well.

Sky also sacked Thompson, Nicholas and Merson. Le Tissier says he's moved on and I would suggest everyone else does the same.
Exactly.
They go on like Carragher walked up to a little girl n spat in her face. He was being goaded by a rival fan with a camera trying to get a reaction, Carragher stupidly gave him the reaction he was looking for and unfortunately it was the guys daughter who ended up on the receiving end. Although if you watch the video he didn't seem overly concerned for his daughter, in fact he seemed quite happy about the money he knew was about to make
That's ok then, I thought he had walked up to her and spat in her face.
@@andychatt23 gave her a cheeky kick n all
He was having the Micky taken out of him that’s all. Carragher then spat at them. The fact that it hit the blokes daughter, does not excuse him.
