Here’s what I don’t get: Why are the owners second-guessing paying Salah $450k a month, which totals $43 million, for a player who has proven himself as a club legend and consistently delivers? Yet, they seem willing to gamble on signing a new player who could cost $70 million or more, plus add-ons, and with a salary of $30k or $40k per week for three seasons, only to risk him potentially flopping. The same goes for Trent and Virgil. Anyways, that’s just an assumption from me since the owners decided to leave these contracts until close to the wee hours.
The argument that salah will start to decline after he signs doesn’t make sense to me because isn’t that the case with any player? But out of anyone salah has proved time and time again that he won’t decline anytime soon
I honestly don’t understand these clubs and extending player contracts. If you have an important player asking for 10-15mil Euros salary and you are hesitant, but when that player leaves, you spend 50/60/70/100+ million in today’s market to replace him, and even when you do bring a new player whom you are still paying similar salary, you don’t know how they will adapt and how long it takes them before they start performing at the same level as the player you let go.
It’s also the consistency. 8 seasons of world class numbers. Almost every season he’s played 50 games too so he’s very durable. Yeah good luck replacing that, just give him a 2 year deal with a higher salary, pretty sure he’d accept that
Not only is Salah an incredible talent, he is such an excellent face of the franchise and league. He’s an absolute stand up guy that everyone likes. He’s a hallmark figure in Premier League football, and global sports. He doesn’t get in trouble, he doesn’t say stupid things, never misses games, is in peak physical form, he is just a complete player and person. His global marketability is off the charts. Even if his form falls off slightly, the dividends of his presence in the team make him worth his wages. They must see that. He’s more than what we see on field, and the fact that he’s getting almost as many assists as goals tells us he’s matured and evolved as a player. He can drop off slightly and adjust his game to be effective in other ways.
last season the argument against Salah was age and that’s the ONLY argument against him. and it’s not even in terms of performance, it’s just the look of the number 😂 because he has continued to improve with age and change his game depending on the team around him. bin that rubbish 😂
I think Liverpool is really on a huge problem. As a team, simply must not get rid of any of those three. LFC need Salah's impact on the game with his vision to make passes, Trent's golden crosses and Virgil top notch defending especially against top clubs.
Salah is very dedicated professional player driven to broke any possible record. I do believe he has at least two more seasons at top level, he deserves it. Same thing about VVD. As for Trent, I'm afraid he might leave, hopefully I'm wrong though.
Is it not a possibility that Liverpool's ability to afford these new contracts might rely on how much prize money they get this year? Winning the PL and going far in th CL would put a lot more £££ in the bank account.
2:38 correction next week he can start talking to other club. If Salah is after money he probably has the number to demand more from the contract than in the summer. I really wonder if protest against the owner will work. We did it for ticket but no change =/.
I personally think Klopp was told they wouldn’t be renewing his, Trent and possibly Virgil’s contract too. Then he thought, it’s too much I’m leaving 🤔
Non of these owns a club, however all explayers and still won't see mo deserves this contract not only because of what he is doing now but also for what he has done all those years. He literally earned it. What more does he have to do? What more is there for mo to do to deserve such a contract.
Liverpool generate over £600m in revenue they generated £130m from merchandise sales alone they aren’t broke they just CHOOSE not to give these players the wages they want.
And the owners are making all these profits from their investments but are still greedy to pay those who are really generating it for them. You can invest and loose like many other big clubs which spent millions on players just to flop.
Where did you get your degree in Economics from? Learn about overheads, wages, tax, insurance and regaining the financial strength which was taken away during the pandemic.
Salah is a leaving legend and his aim is to become number 1 in Liverpool history, simply give him his 3 years he'll prove number 1 spot topping Ian Rush with much less game in hands, then it will do justice to the amount of pence FSG have to pay
Salah doesn't earn 400k a week what are you on about?? 😂 it's in the low to mid 300k, he might be asking for 400k in this new contract, but he's not currently on 400k😂
Maybe should have sorted some of these out in the summer- the players have more power now that they are top of the league (hopefully more reason to stay too, but I gotta imagine the leverage isn’t the same)
The take from 90% of pundits is so short sighted One thing being ignored about Mo is if he's given a 3 year deal, he will be missing at AFCON for 2 of those. Next year AFCON starts in December which means Mo will be missing during the busy festive period
I have huge respect for the panel, but I'm baffled by the narrative you carry about the contract situation. Liverpool wanted to extend their contract last year, none of those players wanted to sign a contract because of Jurgen's imminent departure and how the club is going to go forward. That was the only reason why their contract is running out. As soon as those players knew the club is in good hands, they want to extend their contracts. Around the same time Madrid showed interest in Trent. The players had the leverage last year and now the club has the leverage for contracts.
1:45 Craig is spot on! and this season it’s been even much clearer. Salah drops at LEAST a goal AND/or assist EVERY SINGLE WEEK. it’s insane 3:32 Salah IS irreplaceable Frank. he is. you literally acknowledge it in your next statement 😂
For some reason, Liverpool always seem to find the perfect replacement. Even with mane we thought they woukd struggle but they found diaz. So I partially agree with frank that due to Liverpool recruitment they may be able to manage though it won't be easy.
Diaz have been underperforming What about for Firmino they found NUNEZ? imagine another Nunez in salah position 😂 Diaz was bought but Salah was still carrying the team Who carries the team in goals and assists when Salah is sold ?
If Salah drops in form and produces 50% of his output, he'll still be among top 5 players in the league. In my opinion, the powers that be in the football world have personal beef with Salah. Being left out of top 30 was the big indicator and then this. Being constantly compared to Saka and Palmer who don't even have 50% of his output. All seems like there's some beefing in the background. And it's not about money. Salah is already liverpools highest paid player. I doubt more money is his motive or else he'd go to Saudi.
Anyone is replaceable if you spend enough money, it might take Liverpool 2 to 4 new signings to get someone who can deliver Salah numbers at a cost of 100-200 million? Even more if the new players flop and you have to keep replacing them. A new Salah 2 year contract would be how much? 40-50 million? Any rationale club would've sorted out Salah contract last summer.
If salah had signed an early contract last year at 30k -50(min) more a week.. then the overall is not far off what they will now have to pay. So the cost aspect doesn't make sense. A year of klop leaving, those players didn't know what the club would do. Now it obvious. And the money saved over that year has to be taken into account
No matter what happens, I trust Slot to handle the situation well. Pretty sure he already knows what to do even if none of the 3 renew their contracts.

Salah is indeed tte best player of the year. He is the only one which is not only top scorer but also assists others to score with magic passes that are pleasure to watch ❤
It’s a no brainer! 400k a week is about 20 mil a year, for 3 years it is 60 mil. How can you find his replacement for just 60 mil.
And if he drops off, the Saudis will probably pay 60M for him. Its a complete no brainer
One of best players in the world now . Excellent performance , excellent morals . I think he deserves to be classified as the best player in the world
Salah is a liverpool legend. He should go down as such. Salah deserves every penny of his pay, and should rightfully ask for a better contract.
If you talk investment, you’ll lose letting Salah walk away. On the other side, Salah can be sold to Saudi for a fortune. That’ll balance your books. Same with Van Dike and trent jr

It's looks ridiculous when you put it side by side, what a player🔥
Here’s what I don’t get: Why are the owners second-guessing paying Salah $450k a month, which totals $43 million, for a player who has proven himself as a club legend and consistently delivers? Yet, they seem willing to gamble on signing a new player who could cost $70 million or more, plus add-ons, and with a salary of $30k or $40k per week for three seasons, only to risk him potentially flopping. The same goes for Trent and Virgil. Anyways, that’s just an assumption from me since the owners decided to leave these contracts until close to the wee hours.
He’s currently on 350k a week , no way he will accept 450k a month contract
@@redleaf86they believe a younger player would give them more mileage.
Yeah good luck replacing that, just give him a 2 year deal with a higher salary, pretty sure he’d accept that
Salah should have have gotten the Ballon dor 4 time's at least
Relax
Imagine Chelsea offer salah 2 years
its not that he is the "best as it stands", its that he IS THE BEST. Simple as that. Been the best since 2017/18.
Erling is staying humble 😂
May Allah continue to bless Mohammad salah take him to new heights of success and may Allah keep him humble in success ameen
last season the argument against Salah was age and that’s the ONLY argument against him. and it’s not even in terms of performance, it’s just the look of the number 😂 because he has continued to improve with age and change his game depending on the team around him. bin that rubbish 😂
I think Liverpool is really on a huge problem. As a team, simply must not get rid of any of those three. LFC need Salah's impact on the game with his vision to make passes, Trent's golden crosses and Virgil top notch defending especially against top clubs.
Mohamed Salah is the most underrated player in the world
Salah is very dedicated professional player driven to broke any possible record. I do believe he has at least two more seasons at top level, he deserves it. Same thing about VVD. As for Trent, I'm afraid he might leave, hopefully I'm wrong though.
Put some respect on Mo Salah's name. He deserves to win the Ballon d'Or.
Salah is the best in the world right now. Time and time he been showing us how consistent he his. 🐐 Salah 👑
Is it not a possibility that Liverpool's ability to afford these new contracts might rely on how much prize money they get this year? Winning the PL and going far in th CL would put a lot more £££ in the bank account.
If Liverpool doesn't want to give what Salah asks for, then Liverpool no longer deserves Salah. He should go to a club that appreciates him more.
By far the best playing footballer
The best thing about Salah is he is never injuried
Give him what he wants
Give him what he wants 😉
Salah is PL GOAT, he is the heart of Liverpool, absolutely from all time legends
Frank is not making sense. There is no guarantee in a football contract and past performance determines to great extend the contract.
Mo Salah is Irreplaceable‼️✨️👌
Salah the Gold standard
I still don't understand how comes mo Salah never win Ballon d'Or this is joke period
It's the cost of replacing Mo, Virgil or Trent. That'll be a lot more than giving them new contracts.
Also once Salah leaves, they will lose a big fan base from MENA
@@master2000b Worth noting that Liverpool made a loss last year...

Mo Salah is the Best Footballer for x9yrs. ✨️‼️
The world*
Salah is a leaving legend and his aim is to become number 1 in Liverpool history, simply give him his 3 years he'll prove number 1 spot topping Ian Rush with much less game in hands, then it will do justice to the amount of pence FSG have to pay
Lfc should give salah what he wants. Looks at his stats .Hopefully they can sign him up soon.
Exactly Mario. Why did you wait so long? We had 2 years to iron this out. Why did you wait so long
Salah doesn't earn 400k a week what are you on about?? 😂 it's in the low to mid 300k, he might be asking for 400k in this new contract, but he's not currently on 400k😂
Half of his salary goes in taxes and national insurance, being a top earner
He does earn 400k. It’s more apparently with the image rights and bonuses.
Salah, is the man right now in Europe. Nobody else !!!!
Much better without the background music
not EXTRATIME MY BOI
@@mamadousy9632 Still, it’s better without my baby
He’s been the best player in the league for years now
Salah is currently the best player in the world ( though he's not world class LOL)
Maybe should have sorted some of these out in the summer- the players have more power now that they are top of the league (hopefully more reason to stay too, but I gotta imagine the leverage isn’t the same)
Salah will surpass everyone if he plays for more than 4 seasons
No Salah ,no liverpool
It's not about money.. it's about his legacy, and Liverpool.
Liverpool recorded in their accounts they have a surplus 350 million. The owners are just being cheap.
Salah is a stat padder.. He's never getting into top 5😂 Go and cry about Prem else where 😂
Di kala Cuaca tak bersahabat, dia selalu berusaha menghangatkan hati semua Orang. 🎉🎉🎉
There's always somebody better around the corner. Who? I don't know but there always is.
I see no one to replace him on the same standard he's producing and giving so frank is been ridiculous and bias
Mo Salah is the Best Play - Maker of Allll time👌✨️‼️
The football world needs to stop ignoring Salah and his records. This consistent performance needs to be somehow rewarded.
The take from 90% of pundits is so short sighted
One thing being ignored about Mo is if he's given a 3 year deal, he will be missing at AFCON for 2 of those.
Next year AFCON starts in December which means Mo will be missing during the busy festive period
Man United fan but respectfully Frank STHU 😂
FSG will probably settle all
3 contracts during the transfer window . to take the edge off not bringing in a new player or two ...
Jesus, cole palmer was performing that well
I always hear the cold palmer thing but didnt knew he actually that productive
I have huge respect for the panel, but I'm baffled by the narrative you carry about the contract situation. Liverpool wanted to extend their contract last year, none of those players wanted to sign a contract because of Jurgen's imminent departure and how the club is going to go forward. That was the only reason why their contract is running out. As soon as those players knew the club is in good hands, they want to extend their contracts. Around the same time Madrid showed interest in Trent. The players had the leverage last year and now the club has the leverage for contracts.
What is Burley unabout? The players want longer contracts, I don't think it's about money.
Ryan Cherki 👀 Marmoush 👀
Marmoush yes he can play ST but Liverpool need Salah
I don't watch other leagues that much but if I could get a potential Salah "replacement" in future at RW, it would be Kulusevski or Tyler Dibling
Leroy sane probably could be replace salah
1:45 Craig is spot on! and this season it’s been even much clearer. Salah drops at LEAST a goal AND/or assist EVERY SINGLE WEEK. it’s insane
3:32 Salah IS irreplaceable Frank. he is. you literally acknowledge it in your next statement 😂
Everyone is replaceable and eventually Salah will be replaced.
For some reason, Liverpool always seem to find the perfect replacement. Even with mane we thought they woukd struggle but they found diaz. So I partially agree with frank that due to Liverpool recruitment they may be able to manage though it won't be easy.
Diaz have been underperforming
What about for Firmino they found NUNEZ? imagine another Nunez in salah position 😂
Diaz was bought but Salah was still carrying the team
Who carries the team in goals and assists when Salah is sold ?
Diaz replaced Mane? Really 😅
Diaz hasn’t replaced Mane he’s good but he’s been a downgrade and failed to feel that gap left
because they are smart and look at what happens to Walker, de Bruyne and Gündogan at the Moment
You can always decline from one day to the next
If Salah drops in form and produces 50% of his output, he'll still be among top 5 players in the league.
In my opinion, the powers that be in the football world have personal beef with Salah. Being left out of top 30 was the big indicator and then this.
Being constantly compared to Saka and Palmer who don't even have 50% of his output.
All seems like there's some beefing in the background. And it's not about money. Salah is already liverpools highest paid player. I doubt more money is his motive or else he'd go to Saudi.
🤦🏽♂️ what
Another great win but all Dan can focus on is something none of the players seem to be bothered by judging off their performances
He's getting paid to do that. He knows how to be annoying with it, I'll give him that lol
Balon de oro
Hasn't he all but agreed a 2 year deal?. I remember reading something about it a few weeks ago.
"best player in pl" won't say in world cause it's Salah 😂
I think its the money ball in play frank is right between the age and world cup qualifiers in the next 2 years it may be the risk of injuries
