But you're not alone, many Irish folks say "filum" as well. And it's not like English is the most consistent language anyway. Every accent has some words that are pronounced in a weird way. True but he missed off George Graham. Sometimes because of Wenger’s era people forget how good Graham was and what his Arsenal team achieved. Graham and Arsenal also ended Liverpool’s monopoly but Ferguson gets credited with ‘’knocking them off their perch’’. As an Arsenal fan, the Graham era was my favourite. They’re all legends of the game though these Scottish manages and Ferguson himself acknowledges how much he learnt from Jock Stein. Only time will tell but modern football doesn’t look like it’s producing these same kind of legends. The game has sold its soul.

It's amazing how these have hit it off & became such a great pair of pundits together. It's got to be the obvious respect for each other. It showed in Nevs interview with Steve Gerrard. They probably hated each other as footballers but now they've finished, the respect given to each other is obvious. Cara's opinion of Scottish managers is bang on for me as well. The Scott's can come across aggressive with their accent when they're being far from it. It helps command the respect needed in a dressing room.

I think around 2011 there were about 8 Scottish managers in the Premier League. For the size of the country there are a lot of managers that make it to the highest level.
At first I couldn’t get on with these, I think coz what teams they played for got in my way, over a short period I realised how down to earth , funny , football mad and what great pundits they are . They know the game so well. I couldn’t imagine being without them know on sky
