I pay for play. I don't waste time on "dating" women I've got absolutely nothing in common with and who have nothing to talk about which describes the vast majority of women in south east Asia. I've reflected on this and the truth is the only thing I want from them is sex. And let's face it most of them want money from us, nothing else. Therefore pay by the night. I'm Filipino in the Philippines but I think number 5 is the most important and glaring. If you guys think there is a surplus of girls in the Philippines, think again, or thrice. Most girls that are openly available have huge life issues and they want a guy to fix it or help them out of it. My advice as someone who has travelled all over the world and was in the Philippines for 3 months. If you want to get a woman that's good quality, marriage material etc. Look above all for a woman that is from a middle class family. If she's poor, there's a high chance she will ask for money a lot, will ask you to support her family members, and guaranteed she will be traumatized and have many emotional issues because of how she grew up. If you meet a woman from a rich family, she will probably be spoiled, have princess syndrome, and will be expecting a LOT from you. So look for a woman that is in the middle and who not only appears to be mentally stable but who will consider your feelings too.

Having children is a big thing for young cute Filipinas. As an older guy, I don't want any more kids. I can't support kids once I retire on a pension in a few years. I have had a few Filipinas tell me that it is a deal breaker to not have kids. The Filipinas that are OK with not having kids are older women who already have kids or young hustlers who will tell you anything.
Great comment. I try to tell men the same thing. If you're fixed and find a lady who is single and has no children best to move on, and let her find a guy who's okay with having more kids. Should an older man have more kids? My partner and I have a daughter together, and it brings me great joy. In younger days, as a working father, you don't have the time or energy for them. It also motivates you to take better care of yourself, and brings you closer to your partner. The extended family will not be as important to her as her/your own child, at least in most cases.

Overall, it seemed like a much more positive and dynamic social dynamic in Vietnam. Also, I'd like to date someone that's not 40 years younger than me. Difficult in Vietnam, and at all ages, most are chubby in the Phils. Real life is not TH-cam vids. Take dating off the table as a priority, and things get a lot more relaxed and chill, for example making genuine social connections and becoming part of the community. Dunno about romance, it's early days yet.

In the Philippines, day game rules. Forget about dating apps. A lot of the women on them are scammers and so they won't even agree to meet you; they're looking for men they can bleed from a distance. Everything you do from the very beginning should be aimed at setting up that first date. And it shouldn't be a fancy meal for her friends and family; it should be more like a coffee date. At that point all you're trying to establish is that she's not a flake or a scammer. Then slowly progress from there.
Another thing to consider is her family. How close are they? How do they behave? The family will give you a better insight than she might. If they aint good ppl then shes probably not either.

If you're a 50+ foreigner looking to hook up with an under 22-year-old Filipina, you need to be realistic. Know that they're looking for financial and economic salvation and accept the fact that you're no longer a spring chicken that would bag an attractive young woman if you did not have the means to provide for her. It's a two-way street, you have to provide what she needs to get what you want.
When you see these guys (I can think of two vloggers around 70) and they show their wives/girlfriends on their channels, if you really listen to their subjects, it is all about providing. Ive dated lots of girls in Philippines. Its common they tell a sad story where they need money, on the 3rd date. No matter what they say, they will send regular cash to the mom. Thats not including regular emergencies where they need money right Now. You wont get thanks and they wont give you anything back for your birthday. Its common for girls to have a baby in the province being raised by an aunty, or even adopted by them. Never bring a girl to live overseas. I was married to a Philippine woman in 1995. I could write a book about the experience. Watch these videos and read all the books you can find first. Then visit the Philippines for a month first to see if this is something that works for you. I would suggest Cebu. It really is a different culture. One suggestion also if you do meet someone you like is to study her family. If you want to know what your Philippine wife will be like in 10 years study, her parents carefully because the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree. Chances are good that she won't be too much different than her parents. If you get any red flags, move on. They can capture your heart so go slow so as not to be blinded by their beauty. My wife was half Spanish, half Philippine. Also remember you can take your wife out of the country, but you can't take the country out of your wife. Look before you leap.
Trust is everything, and simply doesn’t exist without honesty. If you want a girl to be honest with you, you must be brutally honest and blunt with her. Be blunt about your expectations and “demands”… and especially about what lines she must not cross. Explain to her that if you lose trust in her, you will be gone… no second chances. Also, you mentioned “asking the right questions.” An example of this is, if you want to know if she has kids… the way you have to ask is, “Have you ever had any kids?” Because, if she had kids very young, and someone else took them to raise them… she will say she doesn’t have kids. Then if she marries you (indicating stability)… the relative who has been raising her kids may suddenly give them back to her… and then you feel like you’ve been snookered. Down to using common sense. It`s similar in Thailand and the neighbouring countries. If you meet a S.E. Asian woman and all her problems can only be solved with money, run for the hills. If you meet a girl young enough to be your daughter or granddaughter, it`s not going to be about love on her part, she`s only interested in your money. I have a lot of experience with Asian women. For context, I am 66% British Isles ancestry and 34% West African. Although my sensibilities are generally English, due to my African heritage and what I perceive as a lack of social nuance among some Asian women, they often see me as Black-almost like an 'undercover' white guy. I've attended medical school with them, lived in their neighborhood for 30 years, and worked in medicine alongside them. My last girlfriend was half Chinese. From my experience, Western men are often naive about Asian women: their inner qualities are quite different from their outward beauty. Also, if you observe carefully, you'll notice that Asians rarely offer personal compliments spontaneously unless they have an ulterior motive. Why would any man want to commit to that? In my opinion, the best women are of Northern European heritage, but modern-day feminism has made it challenging to find a good match there.

Another time I was invited to meet my girlfriend's Auntie 25 years ago and there was 30 people waiting to meet me but I was expected to feed and supply drinks for all of them without me given any notice. Honesty and trust is a must before entering into a long term relationship. Just think if you had a business partner who lied to you and you could not trust them. Would you still go into business with that person. However, that is hard to figure out here. You can't always tell if they are being honest with you. They will tell you that they are telling the truth, but then down the road you find out that some or all of what they were saying were lies. I have seen/experienced this so many times over the past 15 years of time in the Philippines, from my own relationships and those that I observed living in apartments near me. My advice as someone who has travelled all over the world and was in the Philippines for 3 months. If you want to get a woman that's good quality, marriage material etc. Look above all for a woman that is from a middle class family. If she's poor, there's a high chance she will ask for money a lot, will ask you to support her family members, and guaranteed she will be traumatized and have many emotional issues because of how she grew up. If you meet a woman from a rich family, she will probably be spoiled, have princess syndrome, and will be expecting a LOT from you. So look for a woman that is in the middle and who not only appears to be mentally stable but who will consider your feelings too.

Having children is a big thing for young cute Filipinas. As an older guy, I don't want any more kids. I can't support kids once I retire on a pension in a few years. I have had a few Filipinas tell me that it is a deal breaker to not have kids. Should an older man have more kids? My partner and I have a daughter together, and it brings me great joy. In younger days, as a working father, you don't have the time or energy for them. It also motivates you to take better care of yourself, and brings you closer to your partner. The extended family will not be as important to her as her/your own child, at least in most cases.

Overall, it seemed like a much more positive and dynamic social dynamic in Vietnam. Also, I'd like to date someone that's not 40 years younger than me. Difficult in Vietnam, and at all ages, most are chubby in the Phils. Real life is not TH-cam vids. Take dating off the table as a priority, and things get a lot more relaxed and chill, for example making genuine social connections and becoming part of the community. In the Philippines, day game rules. Forget about dating apps. A lot of the women on them are scammers and so they won't even agree to meet you; they're looking for men they can bleed from a distance. Everything you do from the very beginning should be aimed at setting up that first date. And it shouldn't be a fancy meal for her friends and family; it should be more like a coffee date. At that point all you're trying to establish is that she's not a flake or a scammer. Then slowly progress from there.
Another thing to consider is her family. How close are they? How do they behave? The family will give you a better insight than she might. If they aint good ppl then shes probably not either.

I did make the mistake of helping one when I first started this passport lifestyle.
I ended up in Vietnam. And the women there just seem so much more upstanding. And proud.

Ive dated lots of girls in Philippines. Its common they tell a sad story where they need money, on the 3rd date. No matter what they say, they will send regular cash to the mom. Thats not including regular emergencies where they need money right Now. You wont get thanks and they wont give you anything back for your birthday. Its common for girls to have a baby in the province being raised by an aunty, or even adopted by them.
Never bring a girl to live overseas. Despite starting as a good girl, she will change and become difficult. In the Philippines barangay her family keeps her in line. In your western country, there is nothing to keep her in line.

Then visit the Philippines for a month first to see if this is something that works for you. I would suggest Cebu. It really is a different culture. One suggestion also if you do meet someone you like is to study her family. If you want to know what your Philippine wife will be like in 10 years study, her parents carefully because the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree. Chances are good that she won't be too much different than her parents. If you get any red flags, move on. They can capture your heart so go slow so as not to be blinded by their beauty. My wife was half Spanish, half Philippine. Also remember you can take your wife out of the country, but you can't take the country out of your wife. Look before you leap.

I have a lot of experience with Asian women. For context, I am 66% British Isles ancestry and 34% West African. Honesty and trust is a must before entering into a long term relationship. Just think if you had a business partner who lied to you and you could not trust them. Would you still go into business with that person. However, that is hard to figure out here. You can't always tell if they are being honest with you. They will tell you that they are telling the truth, but then down the road you find out that some or all of what they were saying were lies. I have seen/experienced this so many times over the past 15 years of time in the Philippines, from my own relationships and those that I observed living in apartments near me. Now I am sure the Filipinas probably hear lies coming from the foreign guys as well... Have seen many married men come over here looking for a good time, telling the Filipinas that they are single.
