Alan Tudyk and Tyler Labine had such great chemistry on screen that I would be up for more Tucker & Dale movies movies, but comedy acting teams like Abbott & Costello and Martin & Lewis just aren't a thing anymore.

Dude I discovered this movie by *accident* when I was in HS. I had satellite TV. Saw it coming up on the guide and thought "might as well check it out" l cannot stop watching it. It is so freaking hilarious and such a fun way of subverting expectation gloriously.
You probably won't see this but I'm going through a really hard time in my life and sometimes I feel so alone I wonder if there's any point to keep going. But seeing your video pop up made alot of difference. You two have the vibe of old friends, and when I watch, for an hour I don't feel so alone. Thank you ❤

I just watched this movie for the first time a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it. I had never even heard of it before which is crazy because I love horror comedies. Tyler Labine (Dale) was in one of my favorite shows to ever exist Reaper (on the CW back in 2007-2009, it only ran for two seasons unfortunately) and he was absolutely hilarious in that as well.
Other horror comedies you might like: "Ready or not", "What we do in the shadows" (there is a movie and a tv series), "Final girls", "Shaun of the dead". I would also highly recommend "Behind the mask: the rise of Leslie Vernon"', not a full on comedy, but more of a mockumentary following an aspiring serial killer (Slasher film)

If you like brutal comedies, Dead Snow and Dead Snow 2 are worth watching in my opinion, and War of the Roses is a good dark comedy that's not horror.

So before I watch this, great story about this movie! My Mother LOVED Horror movies, while I don't, I find them boring. BUT she LOOOOOVED them! Her favorite genre, so I would always find her some really good ones, creepy ones, not so much jump scare but more actually creepy and unsettling which hit her the best♥ (Zombies being a fav, I was her means of watching the Walking Dead) SO when this movie came out, I 'HAD' to show it to her. The Hill Billy theme is actually her most feared theme because it is so... foreign to her and realistic. (meaning it 'can' happen, not that Hillbillies are like that) Humans can be monsters after all! So she went into this movie having no idea who these people are, that it was a comedy, or anything. She watched it 100% expecting it was a full on horror movie... so when the movie got going, she was blind sided. so much so, even in the early scene when you hear them talking for the first time and realize they are probably not that bad, she interpreted it as a kind of... innocence, the 'dumb one' doesn't know what he's doing to people kind of thing which really freaks her out even more. xD She kept coming up with, in retrospect 'excuses' for what she's seeing so hard that when the first kid loses themself to an actual accident, she Laughed SOOOOOOOO HAAAARD!!! hahahaha For years she thanked me for setting her up like that!
Stumbled onto this movie a long time ago on Netflix only watched it because it had the actor who played sock from the reaper tv show and I watch it every Halloween, such a good movie with a unique concept
Alan Tudyk has the ability to deliver lines like no other. Absolutely hilarious. Check out Resident Alien for much more of him. It's a show where he plays an alien who gets stuck on Earth. Would recommend.

I'd recommend "The final girls" 2015 its a horror comedy about a group of people getting stuck in a movie and plays really well with the tropes.
