I was 17 when I had to install a new clutch in my Mother's model A. After I got it all together, I started the engine and let the clutch out. The model A didn't move. I went to a neighbor and asked him what could be wrong. He asked if l got the clutch in backwards. Took it apart again and saw the sticker that said front was facing back. Worked fine after l got it installed correctly.

Thanks for another Saturday morning matinee! (With a little bit of Queen thrown in!). I am assuming that you will do an actual final 5/8" (spec) finger adjustment and nut staking after the pressure plate is properly mounted on the flywheel. May have also included a measurement and discussion of the pressure plate to make sure it is within spec (particularly for rebuilds and readjustments.). See ya next week. Same bat time, same bat channel!😄😄😄

I have a clutch pressure plate sitting in a box I need to adjust but I haven’t done it because I had never done one before. As a clutch rebuilder for for many years doing over 5000 assemblies per month in my opinion
Would only do what you’ve explained in a flywheel wit a spacer representing the clutch disc, why you say he didn’t take into account wear on the fulcrum the part of the metal stamping that the leaver pivots on the ratio on those leavers are about 3.5 to 1 so this can in most circumstances alter the leaver tip. For the most part it will work well but with worn fulcrums pedal shudder can be a problem.

@@n8iws484 Oh! That! Yes, indeed he is! If they didn't act all secretive when you ask what they are all about and what they do, then I would consider it. But when a group can't just come out and tell you what's going on, I avoid it. Last time I joined something where they couldn't just tell me what it was, it was Amway.

@@ModelA Amway, Grand Rapids Michigan pyramid corporation. Yeah, I don't get how some Masons act about questions. Here in Michigan we're quite open to questions. Everything is on the internet so, no secrets. It's community involvement really. How our country was founded, 13 Masons signed that document and still defend. I've been around them all my life but a late to the party member. I hope it clears up some questions. In fact, on one of our local nets we had on 220, majority of the check ins were Masons I knew. Had a good time that night.

“Skoesch”, in Hawaii we say “Sko shi”. I guess it’s because of our Pidgin English language. Meaning is about the same.

I'm not able to take any more projects at the moment, and I cannot (and do not) broker sales. Sorry, friend.

@@ModelA I was just seeing what you think the actual value is?! Kind of thinking I might have it over priced cause it's not moving and people keep low balling me 🤷‍♂️

@@vibrantlife6536 There are people who do vehicle valuations. I am not one of them. However, something is only worth (to others) what someone is willing to pay for it. So, if nobody is willing to pay your price, then you mist be too high. Example- I would not take anything less than 100K for my Sport Coupe. Will anyone pay that much for it? No way. Ao, it does not sell, and that car is obviously not for sale anyway, so who cares? But if it was for sale, and I had no takers at 100K, then I am clearly way, way too high.
