There is nothing written. That is this false idea of self importance or way to think the cosmos care about you or even think about you. Buddha can be used a good teacher if that is what someone needs but he was on a personal journey. You have absolute control of your life, because you are the center of your universe. All that happens to you, is because of you. There is no script already planned out and there is supernatural God. These are all parts of our belief systems and when used in good ways, will allow us to find the truth in ourselves.

One must understand that only the good habit and lessons taught by parents can not make anyone Buddha or Dalai Lama. It depends on the individuals past karma and dharma . I'm not saying that if one has a bad karma in his/her past life then that cannot be improved , but I'm saying that he/ she will carry on their habits or thoughts of same way in their next life as well. See , what I mean is that we need to be self awakened and realisation should come with us , only then we will be free from this Samsaric events. It is good to raise everyone like a Buddha but it also depends on that person's personal level of thinking and behaviour that he/she can become a Buddha or not.
Why are we in tangled in this Samsaric events? It is because we haven't fully realised and haven't been enlightened yet . So our life as humans is a opportunity to improve our past karma and present karma so that we can be free from this Samsaric events and get Enlightened. Gautama Buddha always said that everyone has the potential to become a Buddha it's just that we need to realise it .
So , it is good to raise children that way but not everyone can attain Enlightenment like Buddha and Dalai Lama in ONE LIFE . It's said that Buddha has taken rebirth Thousands of Time in the form of Devi/Dewtas before becoming The Buddha.
And yes we have a whole life to become and try to be one . 🙏💐💖
May the Buddha in you shine 💖

SadhuGuru knows how to control Indriyas (senses) through his Mind (Buddhi, Manas, Ahankara and Chitta).
The standard six ways of controlling the Indriyas are:
    (i) through vichara, enquiry
    (ii) by willpower
(iii) by kumbhaka, retention of breath in pranayama
    (iv) by dama, restraint
    (v) by pratyahara, abstention or sense withdrawal, and
(vi) by vairagyaand tyaga, dispassion and renunciation.

What an egotistic question. Does she want her children to be a Dalai Lama, or a Buddha? Or does she want to be the mother of a Dalai Lama, or a Buddha? If she wants her children to be Buddhas she already has her wish. Buddha said, "all beings are Buddha." What more can one ask for? Love your child, set a loving, and compassionate example, and let karma take it's corse.

I doubt. All parents think they are some way restricted, guilty of their lifestyle and want to break free. They always dream about a rewind button for their life. Any parent want their children are at-least one step ahead of them. The only way to do this is the parents themselves become Lama/Buddha. Then children will automatically become :)

Just raising a child as Dalai Lama will not make him the Dalai Lama.
That's the problem with westerners. Those who don't believe in one's tradition/religious culture, are quick to mock them coz it's new to them.
But in reality, a Dalai Lama is always chosen and declared after immensely deep and thorough religious investigations based on the previous Dalai Lama's life by his closest ones like his teachers, guardians etc. They don't just go to someone and say, you are the Dalai Lama. How stupid can that lady be just to be a 'karen' for a moment.

    My take on this
A- did parents of Siddharth or Lhamo Thondup parents raised them as Buddha or Dalai lama.
They both in there childhood were born and growing in the most negetive conditions. Siddharth was in almost like a house arrest by his parents for various reasons and i am sure Dalai lama also had it very hard in his childhood.

When he became a man he escaped had contact with suffering for the first time and started the pursuit of a spiritual path, of real knowledge, initially by practicing austerities. The Dalai Lama was recognized as a reincarnation in his infantile and was taken to a monastary in Potala to receive teachings from all the four schools of Tibetam Buddhism.
