What I make out the lady thought Aham Brahmasmi means to grow herself bigger and bigger to become Universal Influencer kind of stature. Sadhguru just reminded her to accept what she is now because that itself is fantastic. Once your own boundary wall is removed, nothing can block you to become in unison with Brahman.
When a person approaches a Guru. The Guru knows the person and their question before the person even asks the question. You cannot try and understand this because what the Guru does or how the Guru is cannot be understood using the mind or any tool of the mind.
If your intention is to get a simple one sentence answer from the Guru then it is clear you have understood what a Guru is meant for in this world but if you plan to have a tea party with dialog then you have not come to this understanding.
Your question and the Guru's answer is actually irrelevant because these are just words and noises used to entertain the mind. Looking, listening and being in the Guru's presence is all that is needed in Satsung.
Your personal questions and questions about meditation are not needed for you to meditate, this is the wonderful thing about meditation. All you need to do is understand a few things the Guru says. Listen to his exact explanation of how to meditate. Then just shut up and meditate with absolute involvement and commitment and then all questions will one day fall away.
