Being saved to eternal life by belief in Jesus Christ is only a part of true salvation. The basic tenant of salvation is wholeness, in body, soul, mind and spirit. A simple, yet biblical way to look at this from Ephesians 2 and Romans 9 is, our spirits were dead because of sin, but Christ's death caused healing to our spirits and they can be made alive again through belief and confession! If our spirit can be healed for salvation, our body, soul and mind can too. I see this song as a beautiful plea to our Lord for true healing and saving! May you, also, find our true Healer and Savior as you worship today
