Vokayyyy
chase that bag!
Hello
Wolfe. There is a perfectly good reason why celesteela can learn leech seed. Celesteela is actually based on a bamboo plant mixed with a rocket ship
Bamboo rocket
Ohhh of course she’s a Kaguya reference…
Silly Wolfey, Celesteela gets Leech Seed because its a Bamboo Rocket and its based on the tale of the Bamboo Cutter.
Wolfe forgot something about Aegislash, the speed stat. It was made to be slow where it played to its advantage. Its speed meant it would be normally last, but it would be in its shield form, meaning it would take the hit well. But if it gets outsped, then wouldn't it mean it would get one shot in blade form the next turn? Well, then it would change to blade form to smack someone hard. Next turn, the priority King's Sheild would activate first, bringing it out of that vulnerable form and return to square one. It was really hard to get rid of
I'm not sure, but didn't he say that point in another video?
@@fehizorosaclier1629 Don't remember either, just wanted to say it just in case
@@fehizorosaclier1629 Yea i believe he mentioned that in the best ghost type video
@@fehizorosaclier1629He talked about Aegislash but didn't talk about this specific point in the Best Ghost Types video.
Yeah I also noticed that he didn't mentioned
It took a whole 7 minutes and 7 seconds for incineroar to appear in a video about steal type pokemon
Steel*
7:07
is this a new record?
Introducing: Pokémon Naples and Pokémon Caracas edition. With these new titles, the Theft type will be added, alongside the moves Burglary, Robbery.
wow, later than expected
Wow, Bastiodon at number 1 is crazy. Iron Defence Body Press must be insane on him.
Totally real
Wow
😂
Bastiodon was able to Steel the win because it Rocks so much.
Spoilers?!
Tera Steel Inci- *SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP*
Too late.
no. :)
Idk why I read this in a Harry Potter voice lol
Heatran is objectively better than tera steel Incineroar
Same feeling bro
I love how all of Registeel's eye's are angry in the thumbnail
Honorable mention to Shieldon: best companion in Shadows of Almia
Exceptionally based take
100% agree 🛡️
REAL
The forty five minute Stakataka mirror match was iconic enough for it to place on this list from that alone tbqh
incineroar first appearance at 7:08
Damn must be a new record
@@fredit123456789definitely not
That's pretty late...
*......,ONLY real WolfeyVGC fans can LIKE this ❤💛💜*
Sad there’s no honorable mentions but happy for the editor. The only chance mega mawile could get more spotlight 😢
Steel tera Incineroar
Beat me to it.
so true!
EHHEHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Broo notification arrived late, i couldnt even join the race 😔
How original
poor darkrai had to pay the price for smeargles actions
-wolfey glick
Rip Gholdengo, you weren’t lying when you said you had to leave really good steel types off.
ferrothorn too, there are too many good steel types
It could have easily been a top 20
Zama after it got body press in gen 9 is one of the best restricted mons
Mega mawile did stupid damage and had fairy steel type
Archaludon has only been recently added but is already making rain teams broken in reg H and had usage in the previous regulations it’s been legal but wasn’t super meta
0:58 Fun fact - Bronzong is one of two Pokemon lines that gets Levitate AND other abilities. Most Pokemon with Levitate tend to get it as their only option, but Bronzong also has access to Heatproof (if you'd prefer to mitigate its fire weakness) and Heavy Metal (if you just really like Heavy Slam).
For anyonecurious, the other Pokemon to experience Schrodinger's gravity is Weezing, and only from gen 8 onward.
Celesteela gets leech seed to reference the mythology Moon Princess who grew from bamboo. The myth also inspired Kaguya from Naruto.
Or you know… The Tale of Princess Kaguya
@@mdaily318i mean they were referring to the tale of the princess kaguya, they just didn't say the name, she is the "Moon Princess who grew from bamboo"
@@oke5403 I think the person above was talking about the movie 'The tale of Princess Kaguya' the Ghibli movie
Angry Registeel looks cool for the thumbnail
Man. This video goes hard. Like... Ah... Steel.
You know at also goes hard? MAH DIC- *dies*
GO HARD AND STAY HARD AHAHAHAHAHHAHA
Wolfey never fails to make me hard
Hard as a rock? Hard as ice? Hard as the laboratory theme in Pokerogue?
Hint: it isn’t actually Tera steel incin
No way 😮
@@archanasoni9666 yeah isn’t it surprising that making incin steel type actually makes it worse???!!1!//(,/34;
Blasphemy
@@Swiftest202 as a defensive tera why would you tera into something its original type is already weak to
@@misalignedmisanthropistfire/dark isn't weak to steel. I think what you meant to say is why would it choose a defensive tera that shares weaknesses with its original typing in ground and fighting.
How can you not like a fire frog that chills in volcanos all day
I love that Wolfe’s editor(s) are Ragnarok Online fans! 😂
Dark Void being Smeargle’s signature move
I can't believe how good this turned out!
17:03 was not expecting the troupemaster Grimm music
Rly? I can barely hear the music
I think that’s hornet not troupe master Grimm
It’s hard to hear tho
Well done by the editor, putting the Mantis Lords theme from Hollow Knight when he was talking about Scizor was such a great move
I know you were not about to slander the Pokemon Ranger games man. That shit was so unbelievably fire back in the day.
I think a video about why specific pokemon work together would be really cool, especially CHALK
Huge props to the editor. This video was great to watch, the animations were fantastic 👏🏼
6:02 i don’t know why these little ability postcards are so satisfying to look at. editor is goated
Metagross has actually won the championship thrice: 2008, 2009 and 2012.
Surprise it took 17 mins and 23 for incineroar to be mention here
it appears at 7:07
Took 7 Minutes for Incineroar to pop up in a video about steel types (Thanks for catching that)
Bro the video has been out for 7 minutes even if you’re watching at 2x you couldnt have figured that out
Damn
Bro wtf do you have you been blessed by the powers of arceus os something
@@ExzaktVidyou can scrub through the video
Not true it's talked about at the end of Scizor (17 minutes) and maybe even earlier
Jasmine is one of my favorite Pokémon characters, and this makes me happy.
I honestly love how well edited these videos are. It's always fun to watch you and your teams new videos!
this question was harder to answer than steel 💀😭🔥💀💀 (forced laughter)
"The year that Bronzong was best was 2016" It was also a world champion in 2008!
The tera stellar inceror joke is just not working anymore
What's wild is watching a Stakataka attack a Stakataka, making stats tack up, rack a pack-a-punch attacker.
it's incineroar, isn't it...
So true
*steel Tera incineroar
Always has been
i really needed to hear Wolfe talk for 3 minutes about why Excadril is goated. maybe its all gonna be okay
Man, Genshin has sponsored *everyone* this week
So glad the wonky Stakataka IV thing was mentioned. Soft resetting for a 13 Defense IV Stakataka back in USUM is still the funniest thing in the world
My second fav type video on my birthday, Wolfe you’re the goat
The editing on this video feels like a step up. There’s always a fun little detail in the background. You’ve got a good team!
In these days, the "BRIDGE" is killing people and there are various kinds of bridges
Ooookay, I am flummoxed that our String Cheese Beach Boy didn’t make the list
Finally my favorite type. Not because it competitive value but I just like the looks of most of them. Aggron beingmy favorite pokemon
I'm not the first person to point this out, but Celesteela's based on bamboo shoots/rockets, which is not only why it learns Leech seed, but a host of other Grass type moves; in particular, it's the only non-Grass type Pokemon to learn Seed Bomb via level-up. Feels like you gotta work on your Pokemon trivia, Wolfey! 😁
fuck yeah we love an upload while i’m working

Actually the best steel type is Gen 5 Metagross with weakness to only ground and fire and a BST of 600!
I cant believe ferrothorn wasn't on the list
14:18 for the Incineroar mention. Add it to the spreadsheet.
Haven't finished the video yet but it's probably Tera steel Incineroar
Did the Pokemon master just get sponsored by Epic and Genshin at once!!!
Steel Type is my favourite type with the Ice type pretty much they always have been. Steelix is also my favourite Pokemon. So many Pokemon of these two types just resonante with me so well in terms of design. I never play competitive so I just use my favourite mons ^^
Is alolan sandslash your favorite pokemon of all time
Metagross is now the poor man's Archaludon. The bridge is the new best steel-type pseudo.
Buy it's NOT a pseudo
@@blaze048 which is silly b/c it has a BST of 600, which all the other Pseudos have xD that literally was the definition for a good while iirc
@@PokeMasrerJ it's part of the definition but not the only one, pseudos also has 3 stage evolutions and are in the slow experience group
It's obviously Tera Steel Incineroar.
Everyone: *laughs in fighting and ground type weaknesses still being there*
Only just learning about the Primal Weather resetting from Skill Swap and dang that's pretty neat for Zong to have
took 3 minutes and 24 seconds for someone to comment about incineroar
As an Arab, seeing Wolfey talk about Shakshuka was so random lol
Love the wideo!
Thanks for all you do with making high quality vgc content Wideo Man glad to see the channel continue to grow!
the guy that gave you the little heatran must be so happy right now.
3:06 Pokemon 🤝 Genshin Impact = The music is so EXTREMELY Good
Gambling in any form is terrible. Leave the gachapons alone. No matter what they have trust
People who didn't play sword and shield have no earthly idea how dominant Zacian was. Like you literally had to use it or at the very least use ditto to counter everyone elses Zacian.
I always felt that steel should be weak to electric (and maybe even to water). That way it wouldn't be such a broken type. Instead, it would be a high-risk high-reward type: immune to most of them, but also weak to some of the most used: ground, fighting and fire, but also electric and water.
You could see that wolfey was struggling with pronouncing those Names for the sponsor segment
Aron with F.E.A.R strategy :D
The stacashuca rant was beautiful. I need Wolfy to make a short on how to make it
Could you win a pokemon battle with only 2 pokemon?
Two Inceneroars
Pimpnite
@danielhenderson9719 *Fun fact:* you can't have 2 of the same pokemon on a team in competitive
Wolfey, I can't remember another TH-camr making me laugh or smile so often during a fact video. Your jokes and accompanying images are absolutely amazing. Keep up the great work!
Incineroar doesn't appear within 5 seconds in this video, the world is healing
one of my favorite channels to watch during breakfast ngl
Tera steel incineroar.
Congraz Wolf. Im just a casual lazy pkm noob but when I hear that you startet recording this in June when you have even more of my respect.
Tera steel incineroar
I hope you do Fairy type next. Im very curious about whoch would be number 1 between Zacian and Xerneas and what could take the third place spot
Can I bet either Zacian or Zamazenta, maybe both, will be in the top three? Zamazenta was only good in Scarlet and Violet, but Zacian was only good in Sword and Shield, but I think at least one will be there. If bronzong is here, the Zamazenta may be here somewhere, I will bet it.
Well I got Zacian right.
HE KEEPS SAYING "COMPENITIVE", i can't unhear it
Steel tera axe head incineroar
thank you editor for all the Ragnarok Online sfx and bgms on the videos, it always warms my heart
edit: oh, and the emotes too!
One minute gang
I know it hasn’t been out for a while but Gholdengo is really good, and Zamazenta was also really good because of body press.

hell fucking yes
@@archanasoni9666lmao true
wolfe every video: “this ranking is the hardest one i ever have done”
Also heatrans worst placement at worlds in a non restricted format is top 8
I want Wolfe to make a video where he doesn’t mention Incineroar literally at all, until the very last second of the video where he whispers it
Imagine if Shuckle got a Steel/Bug evolution, only being weak to fire types
Celesteela can use leech seed because according to Sophocles Celesteela is a cosmic seed
That "let him cook" was absolutely perfect. W editors lol
"my favorite pokemon are urshifu, flutter mane, and incineroar" ahh favorite type
Love this channel been watching for the last couple years now . Very informative and humor on point as well.
Yes, been waiting for this! My favourite type is also steel, and I totally agree with your list, very well thought through ❤
Steel is so good every single trainer has endless strong ground, fire, and fighting moves and types regardless of typing and theme in every new rom hack.
I absolutely love this series! I'm new to the competitive scene, so I find it really interesting to see which pokemon have been relevant/are relevant and why :)
Beautiful upload time, 11 am, perfect. Not too early not too late. Love ya Wolfe!
I generally stick to casual play, but I like to look at competitive information like this because it helps me understand a Pokemon's potential, so to say. So since I play casually, I really like the restrictions introduced by having a mono-type team.
Sword in particular had so many great Steel types, and getting Heatran in the DLC meant you could create an all-Steel team where you had at least one option to switch in with an immunity to one of Steel's usual weaknesses. It was a lot of fun, and I think the absurd number of resistances (not just neutral) that Steel has made this workable.
Corviknight (Ground)
Heatran (Fire)
Aegislash (Fighting)
--
Excadrill (Electric, Corviknight)
Ferrothorn (Resists Water, Heatran & Excadrill)
Zacian (lol, lmao even)
My favorite type in Violet is Ghost, because I think new additions like Annihilape and returning friends like Dragapult and Basculegion make it great for hyper-offense. Sadly, I can't include Aegislash on my Ghost team.
