    I know I missed a few things in this video for example printing settings like exposure time or lift speed, but it all depands on many factors and i would just go for a factory settings and if any problems occur, then ask peeps on FB groups or your friends who have some experience or just watch some more in depth videos. Also cleaning and maintaining after printing is also a topic for another video, but there is plenty of on youtube so instead i wanted to focus more on hollowing, holes and supports as this is what i actually spent more time on (but it was really quick to learn!) And now i will focus now on building models and create more build videos, but im sure some more 3d printing videos will come back at some point. Stay safe all!

      I am using the same resin on my halot one. Please share your print settings

      @@richieyumnam8646 , it all depends on the printer and the item, because somethings will need longer at the beginning tan others depending on the model you are printing, so there’s no point saying what dawid uses, and it’s nothing to do with the resin only the printer and the file you are printing

      Hey just so you know hollowing the print out only saves time on fdm printers on resin printers it just saves materials. One the benefits is you can fill the build plate and it won't take any longer

    Nice video! I just got this machine and am learning how to use it. It's nice to see a video on how to use chitubox in combination with the halot slicer. Also it's worth noting that you should remove supports from the models before curing and also make sure it's fully dry after washing before curing it.

    Such a pleasant surprise to know you're a Fallout fan! And holy s**t what a great diorama of a Red Rocket gas station, looking forward to its video.

    Awesome! Thanks for the video. My father and I have been talking about getting into 3D printing for a while to help supplement our model making. This gave me much more confidence

    One tip that I picked up on after breaking many small details - remove the supports BEFORE you cure. You'll thank me later.

    Any solutions for the roof? Also what was the estimated cost going to be for the total build of this larger fallout gas station (just the print)

    • @ScaleHangar182
      @ScaleHangar182  ปีที่แล้ว

      For the larger one i suggest going with FDM printer. It will be at least 3 times cheaper (or much more than that) I have build she smaller scale (shrinked to 30%) of the whole gas station so check my other video.

    What settings are you using?
    I have the updated Halot one and i have not had a successful print batch yet. Items are missing parts or missing completely.
    It's very disheartening.

    • @ScaleHangar182
      @ScaleHangar182  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I no longer have this 3d printer and dont remember my settings im sorry. But I think it was printing just fine with default settings. Have you tried to level your build plate again? most of the problems I had with 3d printers was just because the print bed was not leveled properly. sometimes I had to set it few times before i was successful.

    Im playing with one since Friday, only first matrix and first figure came out fantastic, then the nightmare started, everything sticks to the fep, I had to already change it, and cannot seem to solve it :/

      @ScaleHangar182  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If its keep sticking I would try to level it again.

    I've been FDM 3D for over 6 years, but just obtained a Halot 1 last month. I found your video informative, but have a question. Why not just print the T with just the top against the build plate?

    • @ScaleHangar182
      @ScaleHangar182  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Of course you can, and thats the best way to do it. But it was a good example to explain how supports works.

    • @KevinJohnson-ge5xs
      @KevinJohnson-ge5xs 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ScaleHangar182 Thank you for the reply. I haven't printed anything yet, but sliced a simple design to get used to the slicing software. When I clicked "auto support", it tipped the design and added supports the same way you did. It didn't make sense to me, since the design has a flat side and would build similar to your T example. It must be that not every situation can be analyzed in software.

    I just got the halot and the same anycubic grey resin and I can not get it to stick to the build plate. Most success I had was about 1.5 mm, so 30 layers, but no successful print at all. It always sticks to FEP foil. Tried up to 50s bottom layers, 6 bottom layers and from there on 5s curing time per layer. Multiple releveling. Nothing works. Has anyone any idea or experience?

    • @aussieoracle9958
      @aussieoracle9958 ปีที่แล้ว

      My guess is you are not draining the models enough (2-3 drain holes recommended) and it’s sounds like they are too heavy (even small models) because of this. I’m new myself, so sorry if this doesn’t help.
