Got to see Ozzy in one of the 1996 Retirement Sucks concerts in Austin, Texas. I stayed in the mosh pit for over 6 hrs (the pain the next few days oooofff!) and it was one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. I’m sorry I never have seen him otherwise. I remember Ozzy telling everyone how much he loved them. It was a night to remember! God bless Ozzy and I’m hoping he feels better soon. I know he’s been in a lot of pain for several years.

Greetings from Germany. Dude, Ozzy has my deepest respect. No matter all the crazy stuff he have done in life. But the fact that he rocks on, live on stage, with Passion and Fun. Randy died bout one year before that show, and a huge part of Ozzy died too. So sad..damn, in honor of Randy Rhoads and Ozzy...thank you for the music..✌🤘✌💚🌈💚

Up until a few years ago I never knew Jake E Lee did not use a whammy bar, he actually would bend his guitar neck to get that whammy sound. Surprised his guitars stayed in tune lol?

Like James Dean, we only got to experience Randy Rhoades magic for a brief time. Jake E Lee was no Randy, but he brought his own skill and personality to the game. Jake was awesome..

Thing is that those hair styles was more a part of the 80's than some specific kind of music. "hair metal" is just something people came up with afterwards.
But you will see those hairstyles or similar everywhere. At the school disco too. Or in any pop or synth music from that era.

I was a freshman in high school when Diary of a madman came out. All through high school his concert photos covered my folders.
He was real popular here in Hawaii. There was a saying that got graffitied all over the school
“ Sex ,Drugs, and Rock n Roll …Ozzy Ludes and Birth Control.” Ludes being Qualudes 😁

Is it just me or is this live version of Rock N Roll Rebel a bit more sped up than studio version. I think I like this live version better than the studio.

After Randy Rhoads' death, Ozzy should've stuck with Jake E. Lee.

I think there was issues from the get go between Sharon, Ozzy and Jake. Jake was always considered just a hired gun by both the Osbournes. They even wrote in Jake’s contract when he was hired on for Bark at the moon that he would have no writing credit on that album and reluctantly signed it knowing so cause they threatened to replace him with someone else and have them play his parts. So Than on follow up Ultimate Sin he made sure before he signed on for album that he had in his contract to get his writing credit. I think both had enough of each other and Jake did want to leave the band after that. Later signing on Zakk Wylde which cause they got on well as friends I don’t think there was any issues. Yes! In my opinion Jake was the closest sounding to Randy in terms of his playing and tone yet he put his own touch on things. I did forget watching this footage how good a player Jake really was and is. He was definitely no slouch when he was playing for that band.

@@jefffaust89 Sharon's her father's daughter alright... runs things - and Ozzy - like an iron-fisted little tyrant. I never really could get into Wylde's playing because of those damned incessant pick-squeals.

I love all the earily Ozzy albums. From Randy to Jake to Zakk. I like all three for their own uniqueness and individualism. Meaning all three had their own tone style and chops. In my opinion everything up to No More Tears were classics. I stopped following Ozz after No More Tours tour. Couldn’t really get into his later stuff. I heard the demo tracks for Ozzmosis though and they have the same production on them as No More Tears album. Lots of Reverb, heavy drums etc. there unmixed so Ozzy’s vocals aren’t quite as good as a finished album but the music in my opinion sounds better. It’s here on TH-cam just search it. I’m NOT a huge fan myself of the pinch harmonics and lost track of Zakks stuff later on he just started to over do it with that shit. I still really like his first 2 albums he did with Ozzy though. No more sounded like Zakk and loved his Overdrive sound. No More Tears album start to finish is right up there with the first Diary and Blizzard for me so like third place.
