- Whoa boy. Talk about decadence. The D41 sounds like what chocolate lava cake tastes like. Rich, smooth and decadent, but still with enough treble energy to balance out the overall lushness this set delivers. Of the well over 50 iems I have tested at this point, this set from Myer Audio is only second to the Aful Performer 8. And even then, it could be more mood dependent than anything else. Either way, it definitely keeps up.
Myer Audio is on the rise with more sets coming (and some already available), they are a company to watch in 2024 and already have a contender for iem of the year for me.
Here is where to find them:

Myer just making banger after banger. SLT6 is probably my favorite IEM right now. SL41 is a nice compliment to D41 as well.
the SL41 is insane for the price, the CKLVX is the iem make me feel i'm sitting next to the piano and i love the piano !!
Can’t wait to try it!
I'm glad to be the happy owner of this) thanks to you! from metalheads to metalheads 😊
funny comparison with dinner and dessert but it's accurate as hell. I spent hours and hours listening them just with TH-cam music videos on Mac even without external soundcard. they resolving and forgiving source same time. but, of course, best way to take high it's powerful DAC or card!
Absolutely! They loved the power of the K11 and TA-22 for sure. I almost feel guilty listening to them. Almost… lol
Great review thanks! I have Myer Audio SLIIVO SL41 and they are awsome too. They are what you describe, little lighter, more airy. Magical. Me 2 hope they come out with more amazing stuff. Great times to be in the hobby.
Absolutely! Thank you for the positivity! I think I’ll be receiving the SL41 pretty soon. Can’t wait to hear them!
@@BassDad8want to see how they compare with the D41, for sure!
like most reviewers you gave it a very good grade the only reviewer that did not like it is bggar no idea why
I checked out his review. Sounded like he was just having a bad day. The whole “tuning is good but drivers suck” was a reach. I think he was miffed that Myer Audio didn’t send him a review set.
Great review! Still waiting for mine to arrive. The best Iem I own right now is the Kiwi Ears Cadenza. Do you think the upgrade will be a shock factor?
Would also love a review on the CCA Hydro 2DD+8BA Hybrid In-Ear Monitors (with the upgraded cable) and how they compare soundwise to the CKLVX D41 and the SLIIVO SL-41 IEMs as I'm currently torn between these three. The Hydros are cheaper on HiFiGo currently and according to some reviews also have thundering bass while keeping the rest of the sound clean.
The Hydro and SL41 are coming. And of course I will comp both of them to the D41. I don’t know exactly when that will happen as both sets are coming via different channels, but they are coming. Thank you for your comment and I will keep you posted!
I wonder how they stack up against the Hidizs MP145.
I’ve really been dragging my feet on getting the mp145. I should already have them, but I keep finding other sets. I should probably just get a set. I know I’m going to like them.
Love the CKLVX, you should try the SLT6 it's even better!
Thanks! Definitely planning on that!
@@BassDad8 Try a 25 or 50 ohm adapter on the CKLVX.
@@MichaelJMalloy I’ve got the 10ohm from the zero reds. That worth trying?
I’m just going to get a set of impedance adapters. Been meaning to do that anyway. ☮️
@@BassDad8The CKLVX D41 with 10 ohms adapter and Tangzu Sancai Balance eartips sounds good for me! (With Divinus Velvet the uppermids sounds more agressive)
Try SLIIVO SL-41 too
That will definitely be happening soon!
Between this, aful p5 and audiosense aq4 whist has more clarity, faster bass and more resolution?
P5, P5 & P5. my preference is the D41, but it is thicker in note weight, heavier in bass and not quite as resolving. It is not far behind the P5 in any of those technicalities & I like the bass better on the D41, but that is me. It sounds like the P5 is going to be more up your alley. But that wasn't your question was it? crap. I have no idea. I haven't ever tried an Audiosense iem. Hope it still helped a little...
I have the Pula PA02 which supposedly sounds the same with just cosmetic differences and different cable according to everyone that's tried both. I saw someone else already mentioned the impedance adapter "trick". I'd say it's definitely worth giving it a shot if you like bass.😁 I was trying to link a squig to give a visual but TH-cam is being uncooperative. 😒 Check out HobbyTalk's channel if you get a chance, though. He did a review on the CKLVX and has graphs of it and many other iems with and without impedance adapters. Thank you for another great review! 👍
Awesome! I will definitely check out the channel and the adapters. Been wanting to pick up a set for awhile and this gives me the perfect excuse to
And yes, everything I have heard and seen confirms the PA02 is indeed the “same” iem. Apparently they sound and graph identically. Good stuff!
