I want to build a pc, where i cool it like this, and only use it near the rainwater ballon and filtration system. How much water and filtration speed do you think we would need for such a spec build?
I think its awesome that the two of you are collabing. He's my favorite apex streamer by far and you inspired me to build an sff system but I think the reason his current system, which is still a beast, was under performing because it needed a fresh install of windows / drivers. I had a 3070 that I felt was underperforming so I decided to do a fresh install of windows and drivers and got the performance I was expecting based on reviews.
I can't wait to hopefully upgrade my PC this Fall. I've been rocking a 6700k and GTX1080 for the past 6 years and jumping up to 13th gen and 4000 series is going to be insane :D

Great build my guy! I not a fan of NZXT cases but this build looks amazing and great job on that 3D printed pump bracket. A very clean and high end rig, chef's kiss.
The case works really well actually. I've got the H710 myself so a little bit bigger, but the system you just build, it's like every space is utilized with no room wasted. The temperatures are really well managed, better than I expected! My next build I'm going to use AIO on my GPU as well, so will likely stick with a case as big as I have now so I can stick in 2x 360mm AIO's in.
He makes more income than I do in 5 years and hes just barely now seeing above 240fps on a game like apex what the fuck. lemme just sit here with my build of 3 years in the making that just scrapped that milestone with the grace of god.
I get about 180-240ish FPS usually on a heavily OCd 3090 Strix and aggressively PBOd 5950x on 1440p ultrawide on lowish settings (cause it's Apex). aceu's PC was definitely suffering and deserved the new setup.
What do you think about doing a video on a good value gaming laptop and what the equivalent SFF PC would be to match it's performance (and at what size/cost/noise)? I'm a SFF enthusiast but now thinking about upgrading my system and traveling a bit more, I noticed that current laptops are starting to look appealing...
Make sure to go for atleast ryzen 4th gen+, or the tiger lake/alder lake intel cpus, they've solved the most common problem which keeps most people away from gaming laptops, which is overheating.
@@leef9834 I saw that but I assumed that only referred to the outside, not the inside of the system. A PC should still be filled with something inside to keep the components from wiggling about especially with a delicate cooling system like this.

Yep, his 9900k and 2080ti were completely fine to run Apex 190fps locked at 1080p. He probably just had untuned RAM and thus was dipping into low 100's (or perhaps some obvious Windows tweak he hasn't done)
TBH if he gets THAT bad performance on his current setup and weird issues, he probably needs some education on how to use a PC, not a new setup... 92fps on a 9900K and a 2080ti? thats defenitly some config/user error and nothing else. not trying to sound salty or anything. but IMO finding out WHY his performance was so bad would be way more interesting than "yea lets get him a new PC" (which he DEFENITLY doesn't need).
its a apex error. the engine is actually limited to 144 fps but they attempted to fix it whilst doing so they created micro stutters every time you move your mouse, on worlds edge these cause massive frame drops.
Wow... I went to watch his live reaction... When someone asked to see the PC he basically said, "It's on the floor. It's literally nothing special, it's just a normal case, it's not like any crazy f**king case." That sounds to me like a kid (I'm old) who doesn't know what he was given, and apparently thinks the case is more important than the ridiculous build inside. Might as well have not put so much effort into the looks of it if he's not even going to have it on the desk.
