Bake lite, I have restored many similar phones, I cleaned the bake lite, then I used rubbing compound, then polishing compound, then high quality automotive wax, looks brand new.
I'm not sure but is that Bakelite if it is I'm impressed it hasn't cracked by now that stuff is notorious for cracking easily well I suppose old technology never fails not like the stuff we have nowadays is way overly complicated😮😮😮
I'm hoping this wasn't faked. I mean with all that dirt/dried mud everything else seemed comparatively clean and these weren't known to be water tight, either. The bakelite-like material seems way too intact. and why not just use a liquid cleaning solution to get all the dirt off, first and then do a thorough cleaning with wire, brush, brushes and the like? seems more a cleaning rather than a restore job.
That Nintendo looked like someone had poured coke over the controllers and then filled the console with sawdust to make it look dirtier than it was. Why not just restore it in the condition it was already in, rather than fake stuff to make it look worse?
You clearly didn't look very hard. If anything, look at the wires. That doesn't happen from someone just messing it up in moments. Also just look at any of his other videos and see if you can still say that.
Beautiful work ❤❤❤❤ 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻

Nice job
Fun to see tobackworking!!
the field phone was fascinating
FANTASTIC JOB WOW
Very nice❤❤❤
Magnificent restoration, especially for the telephone. It is surprising the care and quality of the constructions of the time. Very nice work.
I rememeber old TV video games in 1987 my cousin had before
Another great restoration 😍😍
That wire loom does not look like genuine 1940"s wiring. 1960's servicing maybe, during the standardization era for telephones perhaps?
Excellent, detailed, painstaking effort!
Ww2 german field radio. Nice!!!
Klasse Arbeit, Klasse Video!
10 von 10 Punkten.

it was faked. just because he wasn't Asian doesn't mean he doesn't fake things.
Nice job 👍
08:30 i dont think i have even been more terrified in my life!😬
Very well done video but little more explanations would help a bit. I am sure not every one is as smart as you are.
I have a field phone very similar to that but mine is dated 1944 and the metal parts are tan painted. Also, mine has a leather carring strap.....
34:28 probably the worst solder joint i have ever seen in my life...
Mit dem Löten hast du wahrscheinlich Recht
Shame we won't have anything to pass down that will last that long
that Nintendo wuz nice. plz do a top loader.
Looks like a WW2 German field telephone
Keren 👍👍✌👏👏👏
Hello
Shame you can't get the phone to somehow work in this modern age.
That Nintendo looked like someone had poured coke over the controllers and then filled the console with sawdust to make it look dirtier than it was. Why not just restore it in the condition it was already in, rather than fake stuff to make it look worse?
I'm no expert but I found some of the videos in this channel very suspicious
Looks like it's an old-timer WW2 telephone! Something that belongs in a phone booth. ☎️ 😳 🙄 🤣 😬 😜 ☎️
Looks like you don't read titles ☎ 😳 🙄 🤣 😬 😜 ☎
@@TinaMdot I've been paying attention to American Restoration. It's the educational TV series. 📺

Looks like an old phone but why paint on mud and let it dry to make it look worse than it was? Fakestoration!
You bloody expert... where's your vids!😡
Find other video from this man, then you will see if he is fake.
True! look inside all dry and clearly fresh
