Thanks for the video! I was jumping yesterday and noticed that if I pop and pull bar in when my kite is just passing 12 a little bit that it helps me keep balance for landing, in your video just confirmed for me 😎🤙🏽 I used to pop and pull bar 'just' before the kite was hitting twelve per other jump videos.. i was getting out of position for landing when doing this! I had more control over my landing when I slightly oversend the kite, just a little bit past twelve!! (Not too much obviously)

You don't have to leave the water(pre jump). Simply let knees collapse(down un weighting/like coming into mogul-skiing) keep edge angle now extend/push away from feet knees hips to reengage edge and pop.😮

Why create slack with the preload pop ?

your not supposed to have slack in the lines for a pre load pop for big air. I thought slack in the lines for a take off was for freestyle only.

@marcpichora5601 exactly ... You never want slack when it comes to big air

This video introduces an advanced jumping technique for kiteboarding. Starting with a slight downwind hop helps manage the power during takeoff, especially when you're getting accustomed to sending the kite quickly. Once you’re comfortable with this method and can take off smoothly, you can progress to the final step of hopping in line with your original upwind riding angle for more efficiency and control.
