I’m surprised it was even a Camry. Because every reviewer (C&D motortrend) disregard the Camry entirely. Although I personally love this generation Camry. The only Toyota that’s ever really impressed me

I love your travel vlogs. Glad to see you on my side of the country. TT looks good . Can’t wait for two builds at the same time.
Hotels are going up because more people are using air bnb and hotels have a really high overhead cost. Normally competition brings prices down, but for hotels and other hospitality businesses, it forces prices up.😕

Just a small tip for the ranger frame, I would highly recommend POR 15 to prevent further rusting before you powder coat/undercoat (I usually use 3M rubberized undercoating)
0:52 being a hybrid only has real advantages in city traffic. When rolling down the motorway you're basically using the combustion engine alone. If anything you get worse mileage due to the extra weight of the vehicle.
The KA stock is such a reliable engine, loved it when I had a S13

Just so you know, Ford does VIN stamp their truck frames, so if you did a frame swap it wouldn't be numbers matching (if that is a concern to you.) The plus side would be you could have most of the frame prepped and ready with less time of the truck being apart.
You should do the laser rust removal on the Ranger! That would make an awesome video if you recorded it. Laser rust removal then powder coat after the really bad areas are patched would be nice.

@@SarahnTuned you could make BILLIONS off that video. Laser rust removal is like robot ASMR. There needs to be an online payment service just to collect money for projects. I bet people would pay to watch a truck frame get laser blasted. Even if you don't do it I'll be fine. I can quit robot ASMR any time I want to but I just don't want to right now.
The Camry is not a very exciting car but when it comes to a daily driver it just can't be beaten. They are extremely reliable and it doesn't cost a small fortune to maintain one. You usually get a lower insurance rate with them so that's a plus.
I really love when you and Lizzy are together and do goofy stuff 😂😂😂

Just made that trip from the DC area, with an overnight in Morristown NJ and on to Haverhill MA last weekend. Great road trip! I drove my 2020 Escape HEV and got 700+ miles on a 14 gallon tank.

Central NJ to Southern Maine border is a 4 hour trip 9pm to 9am. Its almost twice as long most other times.

New Ranger frames are available from Ford. Not overly expensive. Worth a look.

You’re probably excessively worried about the ranger frame. They survive a couple of decades of daily use in MN winters before rusting thru. Given the overall condition of the truck, likely only need some cleaning and a treatment like you did on little sisters Pathfinder.
Here in WV if you buy a hybrid they jack your license plate cost up $100. If you buy a all electric car thy bump the price of your license plate $200.

I know the roads, I've been driving those roads for 13 years, I still fuck up all the time. I can drive most places if I've been there once, but coming from 80e and trying to get to the tunnels I always have gps on there and still get off the wrong exit.

This was hilarious. The penguin getting dragged off almost made me spit my beer all over my screen lol. I had a lot of Deja vu since I lived in Portsmouth for 10 years (The District has awesome brunch) and just got a Camry loaner while my Tacoma is getting its transfer case replaced.
47.9 mpg not bad. My 2019 Fiesta SE gets 41 mpg- but has way less coolness.

Those new Camrys are nice cars, but I was surprised how noisy they are. The road noise is really bad for a car in that category. At least in the ones in Europe. And yes, I know the tires affect that, but the two I've been in had the original wheels and tires on them, so that's not an excuse.

For lactose intolerance get some 'LACTASE' tablets they work like a dream with a little experimenting with how many to take. Lactase is the enzyme the body needs to digest lactose, I speak from personal experience, they're an absolute life changer

I lived in NH for most of my life, so as a current NJ resident I agree with the “shtty” driver assessment here. Drivers in NH or even Boston maybe aggressive, however they can drive pretty well. NJ drivers are trying to win gold in the Special Olympics. Even a simple traffic circle confuses them!
