I had an epiphany watching this video. I'm watching you're reactions, and how much fun you have, more that what you're driving. It just doesn't matter what you're piloting, I'm rating what you're reviewing on how much it makes you happy.
Driving makes me most happy, but I mostly stick to wrenching on cars or reviewing them because I feel it’s the most value added I can give to all of you in a video.
@@SarahnTuned In that case. A weekend of off roading would be the perfect reset. Not only that, but the rumours of ford being in financial limbo might mean you'll have one of the last generation made. That makes it a sensible long range investment. So yeah, I'd still wait. Enjoyed the vid. =D

That was pretty cool! I thought it was going to be a little hokey but until you get behind the wheel, you can't know the adrenaline rush .
I like the two door best. Reminds me of my old turquoise ‘75, “Stubby”. Looking forward to seeing yours.
Reminds me of my 1977 'Light Jade' with White steel top and White painted steel bumpers and White vinyl seats and flooring except mine had a 302 V8, 3-Speed Auto and a factory locker. Our Bronco's were smaller but still managed to have loads of space for a V8 under the hood. Amazing. Should never have sold it!

Fantastic feature of the Off Roadeo event, the best I've seen yet. Really showed off how challenging a terrain the new Bronco can tackle.

Congratulations. Hope you get it sooner vs later. Got a baby aka "sport" Bronco Badlands to drive until production gets going on the real Bronco in 2023. Patience is a virtue....with Ford.
I bought a 1979 Bronco with the 400 in it back in 1980 with 5,000 miles on it. It was an awesome rig. I like the old body style much better.

Yep! Reserved it last July and the order itself was officially placed back in January.

That looked like a lot of fun! Lockers make a huge difference. I bet the shorter wheelbase of the two door helped too. Pretty impressive performance for stock vehicles. The Bronco is going to give the Wrangler strong competition off-road.

You were only about 50 miles away from me! This looked like a LOT of fun. I've done a LOT of off-roading in the Hill Country in my life.
Awesome video. I made it out to the NH Off-Roadeo day 1 and couldn't recommend it more! Was a bit different terrain in the Northeast. Lots of forrest mountain trails.

I went to the Bronco event in Moab UT, it was a great event. I haven't off roaded much but I was very impressed in the Broncos abilities.
BTW Sarah, IMHO, Slush boxes are THE way to go for extended periods of 4-wheeling. That 3rd pedal will kick your ass in the ruff stuff! Now a triple-stick transfer case? That's a different story! ( The Bronco Sport = Bronco 2 too ).
You got that right.. Get a clutch wet & it goes up in smoke.

@@garyausher I think everything is supposedly water tight on the bronco including the bell housing, so only one way to find out Sarah 🤣🤣

A torque converter also gives you some extra gear reduction.
I'm interested - I'd agree that a manual gearbox is the only way to go for a car you want to thread up a twisty road & enjoy the dynamics, but I've been converted to all the benefits of an Auto box off-road, & a 10 speed auto is surely not going to come up short on performance. Manual gearboxes introduce so many exciting ways to get stuck off road that an auto almost completely negate but also exciting ways to get killed or write your car off around descents or failed climbs that again an auto almost entirely negates.
Out of your 1000's of videos this one is in the top 10 great job. Mike

A cool thing about those trail sites you could tie some nylon cord into them and go up to the outer edges of your your light bar and have brush deflectors to keep from scratching the paint or having branches scrape the hood windshield and windshield wipers.

Unfortunately like the 60s 70s and 80s, Ford will never produce enough of these nice off roading capable vehicles. And the fact that Jeep has so many on the road they will always be the king of off road

I work at a Jeep dealership, this looks like an absolute blast, lucky girl!
Amazing video and a great opportunity for new owners to learn how to use their vehicles. The only problem here is you are in Texas which is 98%private 2% public land. This place is in one of the highest-priced land value areas in the country. This place is a minimum of 500 million entry to buy large parcels in this area. Unless you know someone with money or have ridiculous money then you cannot repeat the experience in Texas but in a few places at very high prices. The is NO public off-roading. You can go to Utah or Colorado and drive your butts off with your new knowledge but it won't happen here.
I've no interest in bronccos, but seeing your distain for a dusty enginebay was worth every minute

If you're going to do stuff like this with your Bronco at highly recommend getting the automatic transmission this is coming from somebody that loves manuals but have experienced both off road, Just makes for a ezer day especially if you're going to get a little slow speed butt pucker factor And not just ramrod giver like you're in a old Toyota solid axle on 38's

I ran into this outfit last month in MOAB. It was my first time observing a new Bronco in person. I have to say, I was impressed! The Bronco went anywhere my modified Jeep did. I've heard people say the Bronco is big. However, it was as wide as my Jeep but a tad bit longer. I normally drive a full size lifted truck, so the Bronco and Jeep feel small to me. I did learn the Bronco is not as fast as expected, considering it has the 2.7L Eco boost. I'm curious if Ford will add the 3.5L Eco Boost and the 5.0, now that would be nice.

I'm glad you got the manual. If they offered the V8 with a 7-speed in a cheap base model Id have to buy one immediately, but I'll probably wait to get a well used one for an engine swap.
