I love how there are just space marines standing around because theres nothing to shoot at
It would be so cool if they could make maps like the size of modern warmaps with teams consisiting of one of each class. That would just be so awesome. Or horde maps with lets say 20 players. And you had 4 points that the map picked randomly that had to be defended for a certain amount of time while spinning on some wheels with a servo skull around. So you had to put lets say 2-4 players at each point and before the king of the hill against the horde at that spot moved you had to send people in advance to spot where the enemies were going. Like snipers getting on a hill seeing where the horde was moving. I know horde mode is surviving as long as you can but different modes of hordemode would be cool also.. Like in campaign they throw themselves into that sphere to stop you from getting further. Not just going after you but getting a objective that we would have to stop them from competing. Lets say there are majoris shooting at us and Minoris coming in waves

To think that in the lore 20 Space Marines would not be enough to deal with a Hive Tyrant, specially if you consider a Hive Tyrant goes bodyguarded by its own Hive Guards and surrounded by every type of tyranid bio form you could imagine.
Twenty Astartes to kill a Hive Tyrant. Entire planets have been conquered with less.

I think Acheron did what he did because he is threatened by Titus from the get-go, like, he even asked Titus if him not being Captain will be a problem. Remember, Ultramarines is stacked with marines all over, they even have spare that is being given to almost all the chapters. 😂

To me, it was just mostly a problem of seeing too many Astartes just standing around doing nothing on the ship. So whe Acharan says “I can only spare three men” i was like “tf you mean? Theres ten right here doing nothing!”
In the lore it makes sense why they can only send three. Most of the time the Astartes forces are spread extremely thin across multiple planets in any engagement with Tyranids.
And considering this was maybe two to three companies of Marines(200-300), that would make sense why they had so little to spare across three planets.

And just a question guardsman, does the chaos marines have alot more hp than the tyranid majoris? Because when I play against chaos i feel like im always dumping a full mag into their head scoped and if I did the same to a tyranid it would most likely go into execute mode. Or just need one chainsaw hit. But the chaos marines can actually kill me after i grapple go them and start FIRING Rounds into their heads from 0,5m range and they still dont go red
I think so. It would make sense because they are technically Space Marines as well. Also depends on the difficulty.
idk, i used gl and 1 shot from my grenade completely blows them apart while the tyranid ones are still there to let me execute.
nope, tyranid warrior majors have more hp, except for the flamer chaos marines. the most probable reason why you think it takes too long is due to the lack of parries and gunshots which deal high amountd of dmg or the chaos marines deal too much dmg and you have to dodge periodically
Its the otherway around, tyranids have more hp than chaos
I wonder if there's no limit to the headcount can u try to add until the elevator cannot fit all or if the weight limit exceeded warning will come out?
