I saw how lucky you got on SEVERAL occasions and those cheeks clenching hard and you drowning in sweat beneath your armor on that finale. Hard to survive as assault solo against spikey gits, ain't it? 😛 But seriously, all-in-all "you did good, kid". You've earned the Emperor's favor this day. 🙂
Let us see yours, completing the mission is hardly a problem I just wanted one with no guardian relic used and boss included.
@@FirstTourGuardsman "Hardly a problem" *survives on slivers of health bar multiple times lucky not to get sneezed on from a stray shot.* :P I'm not denying you did really really good here. You did amazing. But I can clearly see it wasn't as easy as tyranids and "hardly a problem". My play-throughs go about the same and I get my health nuked in much the same ways. My point was always that, compared to tyranids, chaos is never really "easy" with assault. Assault will almost always get messed up against chaos as they currently are. A lot of it is because there are instances where you can get super unlucky, or buggy chaos behavior (like the marine that falls through the ground calling re-inforcement). There is some RNG elements, like having a portal spawn on your head while you are mid-hammer-pound perfectly so you can't even parry out of it and dodge in time is the worst, nuking your health. Or when a terminator spawns next to you and goes into rockets and your jetpack is on cooldown with other chaos marines around you. Most classes might get messed up, but with other classes its a lot easier. Assault just has a hard time surviving, especially if you're trying to not get downed once. I don't doubt that it can be done, but it takes a lot of extra effort, unlike tyranids. That was always my point.
@@avengernaut4101 Didn't even use a relic and this was not my only run, finishing this mission is not a problem for me. You're just coping because you were being a cheeky bastard. I don't disagree that chaos is harder, but that's because you have to dodge more and they give you less opportunities to regain armor through executes. The hardest part of fall of atreus solo as assault isn't even because it's chaos, it's because it has a final objective designed around multiple players that is a slog of animation locked button presses by yourself and tunnels that you can't properly use your jetpack in. Also Terminator Rockets can be nearly completely dodged(you might take like an armor slot) at point blank range without jetpack and portals will never spawn on your head fast enough to nuke you out of your hammer strike since they make a sound before the animation even starts. Also of course most of the other classes have it easier, 4 of the six classes in this game have access to either THE singular most busted weapon in the entire game or the runner up. Assault is in an okay to GOOD spot, the only thing it really needs tweaked is some of it's damage/stagger on your charge attacks, contested health regain on your light combos with heavier weapons(because chainsword can ascend you to full health) and the PVP/Campaign jetpack.
@@FirstTourGuardsman I don't know how any of this is "coping". I literally said, "you did good" and "you did very very good". Don't know what your problem is. I'm being "cheeky" because you are acting like this was an "easy run" when I can clearly see it wasn't and you almost lost that one. Not to mention I never claimed to be better than you in any way. You suffered all the problems I have when running chaos as assault. And You're wrong, if fall of atreus was the same against tyranids it would be MUCH easier on the finale because they are just generally an easier enemy for assault class to deal with and you wouldn't have to worry about getting shot by a thousand ranged attacks and the minoris enemies are easier to deal with and you can actually retreat safely. So it is indeed a "chaos" problem. If Assault could sustain better on that finale, it doesn't matter you have to constantly press buttons and it takes forever to get through it. I've had occurrences where the rockets (in-between i-frames usually) have nuked my armor (or health) and it was pretty much RNG. Having other enemies around shooting you during this is what makes it bad. I've also had instances where, yes, the portals can spawn in a way where you have no telegraphed way of knowing it is spawning under you and by the time you do you CANNOT dodge out of it, you just have to eat it. There might be a chance you can I-frame it but cancelling the attack seems too slow by that point. The timing would be EXTREMELY tight if anything. The other classes have more options, period. That's what makes them easier. Anyways, once again, you did really good, seriously. GG. 👍
@@avengernaut4101 "Almost lost that one" I went down once and had a relic left which could have easily healed me to full, this was not a close victory hahaha. Now let me see your solo gameplay, no melta/nade launcher or Las Fusil on the other 5 classes. You're yapping a lot about what class is good or bad and what can do what with zero footage to show you doing a single thing, so start uploading if you don't mind. If it's really so much easier on every other class and not because the melta/fusil is busted then you should be able to provide 5 different solo runs easily.

You handled that mission on Ruthless exceedingly well. I reckon Saber should introduce a new difficulty setting called "Tabletop" in which the Hive Tyrant could K.O you in 1 hit.

Maybe, though perfect dodges compliment parries more than being the main focus in my experience.

When i try this i get swarmed by a 1.000.000 more enemies, and al the ranged and extremis/boss only target me. Yes he has skill, but the rng for enemies is a b**ch.
Gonna be a different story when they patch that over-healing bug.

I think they should add for the Thunderhammer that executes on small enemies that involve the hammer should do extra DMG to surrounding xenos It looks weird when you grab one of the small ones slam the hammer with a lot of force on to them and the other enemies nearby don't react to it
