That's mostly because an HIV diagnosis was changed from a death sentence to basically a chronic manageable disease after the combination pill therapy was introduced in the mid 1990's.
I'm finally free from HIV after the horrible symptoms I experienced, and feel the same way you describe in your interview. Listening to you share your overcome experience gave me the glim hope I needed to hear. I am glad that there is people like you out there Dr Igho, who just want to help other people who are struggling with the same issues.Your words gave me the courage I need to hear today
@@jg5050 the tech was discovered back in 87 we have had decades to test and work with it, it was Dr. Jennifer Doudna that made huge leaps in 2012 when have had decades of research already

Eventually it will be, but the tech is relatively new, so need more testing/research done to make it safe and to determine efficacy aka effectiveness.
