Star Wars Duel of the Fates Remix HD version

- It has been long overdue and an even longer time in the making, but I have finally finished the long-awaited HD version of my Duel of the Fates video. I would like to thank everyone for their support and most importantly, their patience.
I've been pretty busy working with my friends on our website: www.culturejunk... and our ongoing web-series/show G.A.M.E.
As with the original version of this video, I DID NOT create the song. The song is "Duel of the Fates Remix" by Planet Core. I took the "radio edit" and the "fateful mix" and combined them to get the song length I wanted. I did do ALL of the video editing, timing, etc. for this video. I DO NOT own Star Wars (though I wish I did) and this video is a fan's appreciation for George Lucas' masterful cinematic work. No copyright infringement is intended in this tribute video.
Prequels had awesone scenes & some great actors who made every scene they were in look like a million bucks.
I love the way Dooku (Christopher Lee) Turns Around before his encounter with Mace Windu.

I can remember that your original video from 2006 was one of the first videos I watched on the site. In fact, I'm positive that it was the first Star Wars video I watched on TH-cam. Excellent work!
Tell me about it. This wasn't the first SW YT video for me, but it was close.

I think this one stands out with a break in the tune for Palpatine to ask "are you threatening me master jedi" and other quotes besides.

That's not a bad idea to be honest. I did say years ago, that this would be the final version of this video that I would make. However, with all of the awesome new content that has come along, I may have to start searching for the perfect song to make a saga-spanning music video one of these day!
You need to keep this song in the next video with all the starwars content 🙏
I had thought about that. Maybe even using the full "Fateful" version of the song which is a little over 7 minutes long if I remember right. The only drawback to using the same track is I would probably end up just remixing the same video with new footage sprinkled in and it won't feel like a brand new tribute video that works with the new energy the recent movies, shows, etc. have brought to the franchise. But, if I can't find a better track to use, it might be one final return to the Duel of the Fates remix pool!

ShinAkuma76 I believe he is referring to your first version of this video where at the part of Yoda saying “fear is the path to the dark side” the clip of puppet yoda (from TPM) was shown instead of CGI yoda and the extra dialogue from Yoda about the “rule of two” was not heard in the first version (could be wrong on this detail though).
ShinAkuma76 oh I just remembered, the first version’s intro was a movie counter instead of the Miles Apart Productions one you used in this current one. Hope it clarified which version the guy was trying to mention because I also adored this video back then that it’s ingrained in my mind that I could spot differences if changes where made. Thank you for creating this regardless of what version it is.

Yeah, kylo is just a rippoff of jacen solo/darth caedus. He's not even a real sith. Rey was a Mary sue, she is a terrible character beating kylo with no training. And beating palps with just one year of training, it was utter bullshit. The 3 movies were bad copies of the legacy of the force series and the dark empire series. I would have preferred to see the yusang vong in the movies too, or the legacy of the force series in the movies
Well in all fairness to Rey, Palpatine beat himself. If he would have just stopped shooting his Force lightning, she wouldn't have had anything to reflect back at him. Also, growing up as a scavenger that has to fight to survive is a form of training.

However, if you're talking about the song, I have always told people from the beginning (over 9 years ago) that Planet Core is responsible for the song. Yeah I know. I don't remember if they put that scene on the Bluray edition, or if I just forgot to rip the deleted scenes. But with the video having a Jedi vs Sith theme at its core, I wanted to add another dialogue section that focused on the Sith.

Kurarara Lol, the video was made to be similar to the original Duel of the Fates video (which also included dialogue during the song. If you do a search for Planet Core Duel of the Fates Fateful Mix, you’ll find the original version of this song. I just made the video and spliced the radio edit and Fateful mix together.

I had this song from way back when the prequels was coming out back in limewire days and it had no talking in it, so I thought I had the original. Oops guess not. But your version is so good! I wish you remastered the one without talking! Lol

Well as I've said from the beginning, Planet Core is the group responsible for the song. I'm responsible for the video editing. However, I did the video because I'm a lifelong Star Wars fan and I enjoyed the song.
