- This is a how to for doing an oil change on a Lexus IS 200t and Lexus IS 300. This is for 2016-2017 Lexus IS 200t and 2018-2020 Lexus IS 300. These are essential all the exact same car just different naming throughout the years. It’s the 2.0L Turbo 4 cylinder engine. I walk through the whole oil change process and show how to reset the service light on the dash. Below I have links for all the tools and parts you’ll need during this process to change the oil. I had the same issue as you when I tried to remove the bolt from the filter housing and the whole thing came off. Was wondering how you used the impact tool to get it off? Like where did you place the housing while using the impact drill? Thank you in advance
I held it down somehow 😂 I held it between my feet and other hand with grippy gloves. It was awful 😂

Hi, you put 5 liters of oil? as I know it needs 4.5 liters
My owners manual says 4.8 or something like that and with 5, I was still within the range
Yeah, 5 quarts puts it at the very top on the 4 cylinder.

@@darksentinel7230 itll definitely work for your car as it’s the same exact engine. I feel like at higher speed it may help but the biggest difference I’ve noticed was the noise. I can hear the turbo spooling and the blow off and I really enjoy that lol

@@karlkarl5733 well that’s my old wrap but at the end of the day, I get a ton of complements on it and it’s what I want so I’m perfectly fine with it. Plus it’s a JDM car and leaving it plain and boring is not how I want it 😂

Great video I have a question... any idea what the problems is when it feel like lane assist steering is working when it's off?
Thank you. Oh I’m not sure. My question is, is it actually off? I know most cars of you turn off traction control then try to slide, the TC still kicks on. I’m wondering if it’s something like that. If it’s constant it sounds like an alignment issue but if it’s sometimes, it might be grooves on the roads (I’ve had that before on some uneven roads before)
