Appreciated. Technically it's 4.9 quarts, including the oil filter. Always check your oil and top off to what your dipstick is saying, assuming it's the factory dipstick. If you only drained 4.5 quarts, only replace 4.5 quarts.
Thank you I was working on 2020 lexus is 300 2.0 turbo engines it has the same oil filter housing so I was stuck my 1.8l prius oil filter housing wrench fits perfectly on top but it doesn't want to take it off unfortunately it has to fit very snog otherwise it won't open
Shorten the tip of the funnel just enough so body of the funnel sits right on top of the engine cover, but long enough to reach the filler hole. Works like a charm for late model Lexus'. (i.e. my RC and NX)

I haven't had a reason to check as yet. Next time I change the oil in March I'll give it a knock with my knuckle and try and stick a magnet on it. Have you reached out to the dealer to see what they say it is?

hi there, yes, that's what they are designed for. some people don't reuse them. they cost pennies, so it's not worth risking an oil leak or the hassle of fixing it after your oil is changed for a few pennies
AMSOIL filter " 02 " printing on top, like on my nx200t... i use & sell AMSOIL, so i know... that piece of garbage m1 filter lets oil get around it @ top & bottom, JUNK... ur using garbage oil that i could not get out soon enuff f/my '16, much better MPG using AMSOIL... livery driver now, so i need good gas milage running on premium... BAD MOVE going 2 m1... hav changed ALL fluids 2 AMSOIL, butt only a pan drop & filter change on tranz, bought a tranz machine so mechanic can do more than mine... just hav not gotten around yet... smoother & quieter running w/the AMSOIL in it also...

Best to get a torque wrench. Oil drain plug 25 ft lbs, filter drain plug 9 ft lbs, filter housing 18 ft lbs
nothing wrong with using a torque wrench.
