I have to say this is one of the best tutorials I have seen on almost any subject. The instructions were clear and the close ups made it very easy to see exactly were every part went. I think it would be possible for someone who has never been around firearms to accomplish this project.
Your last sentence nailed what makes this video so very good... Anyone could follow these directions and not only accomplish the goal, but learn a lot about WHY things work and don't work, and know that it was done the RIGHT way, no matter their inexperience. A master class in how to film and narrate a video tutorial.
I struggled watching instruction by someone else and decided to watch this before running to my husband. I've never cleaned my guns, much less changed the trigger because my Dad, husband, and sons always did mine with theirs. I completed my task and I'm thrilled with my flat trigger! This instruction was far superior to several others I watched. Hopefully I can troubleshoot now that I'm understanding the mechanics.

I’ve installed 2 flat triggers in two separate P365’s 9mm and now a 380. Used this video both times. He makes it an easy experience. Patience is the key to success with this process.

I've never done anything like this with any of my firearms. I tried watching a couple of the other YT videos on swapping out the stock curved trigger to the Sig flat trigger, but they gave me no confidence that I could do it based on the "instructions" shown by them. Figured I was going to blow it off, but then I found your excellent, concise, and terrific explanation and close-ups of each step. I was able to follow along and made the swap with confidence. I can't tell you how much I appreciate how well you explained and showed how to do it. My P365 now has a stock flat trigger installed. I'm now a subscriber. Thanks so much...

Not only is this the single best gun-related tutorial video I've ever seen, it's one of the best tutorials I've ever seen, period. Although I appreciate anyone who tries to make tutorials, with fine, intricate work like this, most tutorial creators forget that the camera isn't seeing what they're seeing with their eyes. Thus, they frequently block important visual points with their hands or with tools while performing the procedure. Or they forget to show the exact orientation of how pieces fit together so that following along is very difficult. I truly appreciate the fact that you illustrate how the pieces connect and their orientation prior to disassembly and remind us again during reassembly so that we can ensure that we're doing it correctly rather than finishing the procedure only to find out that something went wrong along the way and having to start all over. And speaking of things going wrong, the other thing that you do that elevates this tutorial head and shoulders above others is point out incidental mistakes or accidents that can happen along the way. Almost no one remembers to do this. They illustrate a procedure being performed perfectly, which is great and all, but how many of us amateurs who are performing a procedure the first time are going to do it perfectly? It's so common to accidentally make a mistake along the way, especially one that's not directly related to the task, and again find ourselves unable to reassemble or, if we can reassamble, find ourselves with a non-functioning gun at the end with no idea why. Your extra comments about the disconnector, the take down lever being able to move freely, etc. are exactly the kinds of things others so often fail to point out ... so thank you. Excellent video. I do have one question, however: you mentioned cleaning and re-greasing that one area before reassembly. To what extent should other parts be lubricated during reassembly and would you recommend grease or oil for those parts? Thanks again.

I actually took mine to a gun shop and they’re charging me $70 for this specific job, so I decided i’ll give it a try first. So I watched some videos and this is the best one that I found. I was able to replace mine in a breeze just following this vid. Thanks man! Great job! 👊🏽

This was an excellent video. Thank you. The zooming in helped tremendously. Also, you walking through things that could wrong and how to avoid it was very useful. One advice I have for viewers is to watch it from start to finish first, then re-start again and go step-by-step with him (pausing each time at each step) in your installation.

I wanted to have a P365 with a flat trigger, and had seriously considered spending more and getting a P365X and then buying a P365 grip module for it, which would have also meant buying a couple of 10-round magazines. Then I found this tutorial from UBR Arsenal, watched it one time through and figured, "yeah, I think I could do that!" So I ordered a P365 from Sig Sauer and a flat trigger from MidwayUSA. This tutorial proved absolutely invaluable, and I think it's probably the best TH-cam tutorial I've ever seen on any firearms related subject. Really stellar, and it made easy what would have been an impossible undertaking for me otherwise. Thank you for a great tutorial, and for saving me a bunch of money in the process! Keep up the great work!

@@UBRArsenal I have a question for you regarding the trigger on the Sig P365 AXG Legion. I've dry-fired two of these, and the triggers aren't as light and crisp as the triggers on every Sig P365 X Macro that I've dry-fired. A coworker of mine has noticed the same thing with these Legions. If anything, we'd have thought that they would have triggers at least as good as the X Macro triggers, if not being even better. Have you had the opportunity to observe this, and if so, do you have any ideas as to why they might not be as good? I haven't reached out to Sig yet for an answer, but I might give them a call on Monday.

Thank you. I somehow immediately screwed it up without even getting to removing the trigger. Somehow got the timing of the takedown lever out of wack. So taking it all apart and reassembling following your video saved me.

Great video. Changed out trigger in an hour. I slowly followed your instructions. Getting the spring on was tricky but like you said take it slow. The last step was as you said the most technique challenging step. Finally got it right. Need all the design features to line up. Thanks for a great video. Thanks a million. That went very well and now I have a new trigger. That said, I only had a 1/16" punch on my bench at the time and I was able to remove the trigger pin by pushing it in as far as it would go. When it stopped, the tip of the pin was just budding out of the other side so I gently tapped on the punch a few times and the pin slid most of the way out. Now I need to go to your sight install video (I had purchased the same sights that you did). Thanks for the excellent videos. You have a gift for answering the questions that people think of and for explaining things.

You don't know how many hours I spent trying to figure out how to reinstall that take down trigger bar. Even the explanation from Sig & Tyrant wasn't as detailed as your's. So many thanks sir!👍

This video was the best and clearest instruction I’ve found along with not having to take everything apart. However, I struggled with the trigger bar . I must of tried over 50 times they way you were doing it. I tried on reverse putting the end of the trigger bar in the takedown lever first which instantly worked.

I used this video to do this to a P365 SAS model which is a bit more fiddly since it doesn't have the usual take down lever, more like a take down bolt. Everything went perfectly except reassembling that last spring on the take down. I was finally able to get it to go in place and it works fine with the Sig flat trigger. Thank you for this GREAT video and the attention to detail! I appreciate it. Subscribed too.

And speaking of things going wrong, the other thing that you do that elevates this tutorial head and shoulders above others is point out incidental mistakes or accidents that can happen along the way. Almost no one remembers to do this. They illustrate a procedure being performed perfectly, which is great and all, but how many of us amateurs who are performing a procedure the first time are going to do it perfectly? It's so common to accidentally make a mistake along the way, especially one that's not directly related to the task, and again find ourselves unable to reassemble or, if we can reassamble, find ourselves with a non-functioning gun at the end with no idea why. Your extra comments about the disconnector, the take down lever being able to move freely, etc. are exactly the kinds of things others so often fail to point out ... so thank you. Excellent video. I do have one question, however: you mentioned cleaning and re-greasing that one area before reassembly. To what extent should other parts be lubricated during reassembly and would you recommend grease or oil for those parts? Thanks again.

This seems to be a common theme... Because it's true. UBR Tech is a NATURAL at teaching. This is the best tutorial I've ever watched, period.
I wanted to have a P365 with a flat trigger, and had seriously considered spending more and getting a P365X and then buying a P365 grip module for it, which would have also meant buying a couple of 10-round magazines. Then I found this tutorial from UBR Arsenal, watched it one time through and figured, "yeah, I think I could do that!" So I ordered a P365 from Sig Sauer and a flat trigger from MidwayUSA. This tutorial proved absolutely invaluable, and I think it's probably the best TH-cam tutorial I've ever seen on any firearms related subject. Really stellar, and it made easy what would have been an impossible undertaking for me otherwise. Thank you for a great tutorial, and for saving me a bunch of money in the process! Keep up the great work!

@@UBRArsenal I have a question for you regarding the trigger on the Sig P365 AXG Legion. I've dry-fired two of these, and the triggers aren't as light and crisp as the triggers on every Sig P365 X Macro that I've dry-fired. A coworker of mine has noticed the same thing with these Legions. If anything, we'd have thought that they would have triggers at least as good as the X Macro triggers, if not being even better. Have you had the opportunity to observe this, and if so, do you have any ideas as to why they might not be as good? I haven't reached out to Sig yet for an answer, but I might give them a call on Monday.

Thanks a million. That went very well and now I have a new trigger. That said, I only had a 1/16" punch on my bench at the time and I was able to remove the trigger pin by pushing it in as far as it would go. When it stopped, the tip of the pin was just budding out of the other side so I gently tapped on the punch a few times and the pin slid most of the way out. Now I need to go to your sight install video (I had purchased the same sights that you did). Thanks for the excellent videos. You have a gift for answering the questions that people think of and for explaining things.

This video was the best and clearest instruction I’ve found along with not having to take everything apart. However, I struggled with the trigger bar . I must of tried over 50 times they way you were doing it. I tried on reverse putting the end of the trigger bar in the takedown lever first which instantly worked.

I used this video to do this to a P365 SAS model which is a bit more fiddly since it doesn't have the usual take down lever, more like a take down bolt. Everything went perfectly except reassembling that last spring on the take down. I was finally able to get it to go in place and it works fine with the Sig flat trigger.
