Just today I had a person bring me a mower with the exact same B&S engine with the shaft spun on the magneto, exact same problem you showed here. I had never seen this problem before so I really don't think I would have spotted it without the help of your video! Thanks very much, saved me a lot of time trying to figure out why the mower had no spark.

Very insightful troubleshooting, and tips going through each of the processes. Your editing and commentary are fantastic-didn’t waste a lot of my time.
Interesting result with the PIN being the culprit! But awesome insights along the journey!! Thank you LIVEFREE!!

👍👍👍 Super glad we now know what the problem is, it was driving me nuts. I’ll be looking forward to the The next exciting episode where we can actually fix it.

I just checked that pin on my flywheel and it's slightly shearer so it shifted like a millimeter but not completely in half, hopefully this is the problem.

Dammit, I hit a stump again. I’m really hoping it’s only the blade. Last time I bent the shaft. 🤞

I don't blame you. It can be intimidating. I hit a tree root last week and I believe the flywheel key is the problem. This video was informative enough to let me know the rough idle is linked to the flywheel. I bought the five-dollar part and I'll be changing it out this week. Lawn mowers are expensive, LOL.
