hi friends!! hope you have been well ⋆𐙚₊˚⊹ ᡣ𐭩 i'm doing my best to vigilantly post at least once a week for you all, and this video has been cooking in my drafts for a minute now... it's the final part of my college apps video series, where i find out how i actually got into yale by reading the comments from my admissions officers!! this was definitely a humbling experience lol but also very fun!
anyways, i'm going to be traveling to china so so soon and i'm so excited to bring you guys along for the ride~ are you reaady? hopefully those vlogs will come out by the end of the summer but until then you can follow along on my journey on insta/tiktok, i'll definitely be active on there!!

I applied to Yale this cycle and spent way too much time watching every one of these admission file videos (as well as Yale's article on this topic) and these are the highest scores I've seen across the board!

loved this video! i'm a rising senior in highschool and I'm currently thinking of applying into the states from Canada as an international student. schools like ucsb, usc, ucberkley, uchicago, uarizona, uflorida, umami and umich has always been my dream schools and am open to other us schools as I would like to apply as an architecture/ structural engineering major. whats your biggest tip when writing common app essays? I'd also like to start a passion project but not sure what yet. any feedback would help! if needed I'll list my stats! thanks!

I did a Yale alumni interview and my interviewer was racist and sexist so if the interview report is the first thing in the file, I feel better about the rejection

hey millie, how important do you think SAT scores are?
is a 1500 even competitive?
i think its a very good score because the total score on an sat is 1600
@@RiceKrispies22 really?...most ivy league admits that I've seen usually get a 1560+ with an 800 in math. would admission officers even look closely at an application at around 1500?
it's not that good. For an ivy league you need at least a 1550. You need to be the best of the best.

@@RiceKrispies22 yeah, so you need to be even better than that. they get better rankings with higher average sat scores. so 1500 isn't good enough.
