  • Welcome to day 26 of the 30 Day Improvers Yoga Challenge. Today we have a 25 minute yoga flow for flexible hips, focusing on deep hip opening postures.
    In this class we work through poses slowly to help you take time and practice with more awareness as you work deeper into the stretch. This sequence includes lots of hip opening poses, as well as some new variations you may not have tried before.

    Thanks for all the effort you've invested into this challenge, Charlie. It must have required a lot of work and creativity to come up with a series of lessons, so well structured that they never felt repetitive or too strenuous but rewarding and exciting to follow along.

    That mermaid variation was so empowering and illuminating! I feel like I could see the way I will get to the full expression someday. And the splits, I'm so close, and feeling progress each time. Thank you Charlie!

    Charlie, I fell asleep during savasana and was out for about fifteen minutes. That is relaxed you make us! Much appreciated. My hips feel WONDERFUL.

    I can't believe this Charlie, I just got my splits for the 1st time.. 😢❤ this whole practice today was set up so well to reach the splits, that I didn't even had to try to achieve the splits. Your videos are truly transformational.. just love love doing yoga with you, everytime. You reintroduced my love for yoga. Can't thank you enough!

    I concur with Charlie’s comment on IG that this class is absolutely delicious for the hips. Just did some zone 2 walking this morning and it was marvelous to return home to this perfect class for the hips. Definitely one to save and repeat.

    thank you Charlie for the wonderful practice, and for the whole 30-day challenge. i am a little behind on the challenge, but it has been really wonderful. this practice has left me feeling comfortable and relaxed. as a runner, this stretch has left me loose and the best i've felt all week! thank you Charlie!

    The last couple of weeks my hip and hamstring have really given me a lot of trouble, leaving me feeling quite discouraged about splits (which I can usually achieve). Today they’re still off, but I was so pleased to reach splits again. That mermaid variation is tough, I really have to find the perfect placement of my legs in order to hold it for about 1.5 seconds haha

    I loved it I could do the full split now without the blocks but did not touch with the hips. My teacher said that we did another version of mermaid but this one was not like the other classes here I think. I have to pratice. thx 😍🤩😍

    I wasn’t familiar with mermaid pose. It was a bit tricky (I fell out my first try) but I got it and enjoyed the challenge of learning something new.

    Well that was not so achieving for me with some of those movements. I struggled with several stretches with obvious limited flexibility but..still did what I could 👍Thank you for the class Charlie. Nameste 🙏🙏🫶
