      Hi. Personally i don't like mixing and matching Undercoat brands with top coat brands.
      Keep with the same when it comes to the UC and top coat.
      Over previously painted gloss I'd go a nice coat of otex akva, then finish two coats of Everal Aqua 40... For build up you can always give it an extra coat of UC, or an extra top coat if you feel the need
      I wouldn't do Dulux UC then a Tikkurilla product.

    Really informative video. i wonder if you have any suggestions for paint crazing over caulking. Caulking is fully dried and paintable but still get some crazing/cracking of the caulk. A coat of something like Zinnser BIN helps but not always. Any tips to help prevent the cracking?

    • @ProfessionalPainterDecorator
      @ProfessionalPainterDecorator  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Change your caulk.
      I've had it previously.
      It's mainly when it's not a flexible caulk.
      I've moved over to waterbased caulk that can be used interior and exterior.
      I'm using RedDevil caulk and it's brilliant. Dries quick. Not had any crazing with it
      What is try is going over the problem caulk with a fine smear of more flexible stuff, allow to go off and see how it is.
      RedDevil caulk RRP is only about £2 a tube. Try it and let me know how you go on.
