to remove polygons on the 3d prints try spraying primer on the printed parts and let it dry out before reassembling the other parts

Hi Optimum, I send you and email, because I have some ideas
The material chosen is really important for the stiffness you mentioned. I got one of Dathper’s printed in a nylon carbon fiber material, and it is wicked stiff, no flex even when putting as much pressure as humanly possible, so the design doesn’t necessarily need to be reinforced, the material can just be changed.
How is your experience with his mouse? I was curious about it until I found out about the upcoming ulx

It's printed in resin, Optimum made it this way to get a nice and smooth feel
@@zalatanyy you can get nice smooth finishes in other materials as well. Like an SLS process with vapor smoothing, or media tumbling can help with the finishes

what switches is he using? i’m assuming they’re the razer v3 opticals since it’s using the vv2 pcb? i wish more mouse companies would tune their clicks like that to be super light and spammable. i hated the clicks on the vv2, they were too stiff.
I swear my favorite mouse of all time has to be the original superlight. I am current using the g305 as i wanted something wireless and I couldn't bend the budget for the new wireless finalmouse mice
Yup superlight is the best gaming mouse hands down

Fingertip players don't hold it with fingers just because it's comfortable, but also because they find it the best way to aim.

you should use your whole arm for aiming, from you shoulder to your fingers. No matter your grip style
@@stalloneCS True, but I suppose fingertip grippers use mainly fingers and a high sens to aim, so they probably don't need the whole arm.
Boardzy uses mostly shoulder and elbow to aim but no fingers, though the mouse is essentially a fingertip mouse.

its surprisingly not, its a kit for a viper v2 pro, i believe the kits like $40-$50 and you can get a used v2 pro for less than $100

The tought that you basically have just the unprotected PCB with mouse skates in your hand is weird to me. It's so fragile, you could sneeze and a drop of water shorts two contacts. Or slip with your finger and rip off a component from the PCB. It's interesting tech but I prefer something a little bit more protected and robust. At the very least I'd want some kind of coating to protect the PCB
i’ve been playing pc games for well over 5 years now and I can’t think of one time liquid has touched any of my mice. I get your point but the chances are very low.
A lot of modern mouses have perforation on them, it's not like they are protected by water.

TBH I could probably make a ~15-20 gram fingertip mouse with carbon fiber rods, but I’ve realized that you really don’t gain much from 60-35 and below 60 grams, the mouse isn’t holding you back.

Needs a shell. Not sure why anyone would buy it otherwise. I do like the potential idea. Which is an actual custom mouse.
The whole point is that it minimizes weight using the unique way fingertip grip holds the mouse. It’s really only for enthusiasts. It would definitely be interesting to see a box-like shell as a compromise.
Fingertip grip intentionally doesn't touch the shell relying on only fingertips touching the mouse. So no shell makes sense.

I like the idea, but you sacrifice so much by just having it as light as possible.
