Remove the side walls. Instead, use double-sided tape to attach the mouse to your hand. Consider removing the three fingers that now fill no function and only add weight.
The PA12 suddenly becoming lighter than the other materials probably comes from the infill. The PA12 mice are SLS printed (a laser melting patterns into powder) and these prints usually are solid i.e. 100% infill. FDM printed parts usually have much less infill. Around 5-20%. The smaller a printed part is, the less space it has for infill. While the slicer may be set to some value it may not even apply, if the thickness of the part is already covered by the perimeters.
Your video made me realize that as a 1-3-1 gripper perpetually finding every single mouse to not be wide enough and using the thickest grip tape I can find to make shapes wider, the next frontier is 3d printing. Would be great if you could offer printing for your mod and let people choose what grip width they want!
Would there be any way to buy the STL for the updated version you've made? I bought some ASA Aero and I've been really curious about how that would go with a mouse.
@GFClocked Depends on the game and playstyle really. In apex you might want to use it for tapstrafe or bhop. Project I'm working on right now does not use scrollwheel however but I could only justify this to hit sub 10g
@@GnopeirlBtw godlike video, i really want one. I just can't afford a 150$mouse to just gut it, any chance my superlight or some other cheaper pcb would work?
@GFClocked Thank you thank you haha. In the models listed sadly not but there are plenty of other people who have made their own for the superlight. I would design one but I've lost a lot of the motivation to design more at the moment with the exception of a guide I made I'm planning to make into a video.
scroll wheel reset, scroll wheel pick up, scroll wheel for jumping, and pinging items or enemies for teammates with middle click are some common use cases.
Is your updated model already available to download? I liked the first one but the flexing of the thumb support made mine warp over time. Good to see this fixed now. I also found the pinky/ringfinger support a bit too low for my liking, would be great if you could do a file where you raise it a bit.
@yannikau.5331 too expensive and was already pretty finalized on the ones I wanted to use. Also looks extremely delicate to put together and didn't wanna risk breaking it
Awesome video the Hexwing discord is still alive but unfortunately I had to close shop for personal reasons. I will be selling again soon. ❤
Much love man. Hope things work out for you it's a sick model
ur mod is insane ngl
Hey Joshua, will you be selling the models again? I notice even the Etsy page has gone.

@@Bllaarrgghh shoot me an email and I'll send it over. Been putting off uploading it for a while lmao
I don't get why people need a scroll wheel at all. Just use 1-2-3 to switch weapons.

Scroll wheel is being used for anything but weapon switching for me.
Amazing video! Please please please extend the right side wall for ring finger support. Also hoping you use HSK pro or Sora v2 PCB for your mod!
I actually do have an HSK Ace mod which should work for the HSK Ace Pro if that's the one you mean. PCB Screw holes are the same
