might be a little late, but Dante was Leon in the beginning. When they started making Resident Evil IV, they decided it was too fast-paced for a horror game. So they scrapped the entire project, but this guy saw potential in the fast paced prototype and tried to reform it into the first Devil May Cry game which kinda reused Leon's model for Dante with some tweaking at that time.

what turned me off was backtracking to kill bosses Nero didn't 1:06:01 Nero a main in front of Dante and i think a dearth of enemy types. Pt 5 i suspect will correct.

First, You can use devil trigger if you are grabbed by the enemy Second, you coulda grabbed credo's spear when he's throwing it on devil trigger form third, save up some DT energy so you can have a change of making big damage while grabbing them And lastly, Rev your sword when your nero especially on that snake lady fight when you grabbed her, you coulda rev it up and make more damage to her. You have lots and lots and lots to learn my guy.
I find it funny that the villains in the series evolve and get better every time in every game and have all kinds of nasty powers while they transformed from humans our hero seems to have the same old style and weapons. they have attacks you can't block and the hero wins because he is the hero!!
