I like how his ground slams try to convey that nero got better with red queen and learned more control. They don't just ricochet off the ground anymore
Especially since I think I saw somewhere that He was Right-Handed before His Arm became the Devil Bringer and because of that, His Left-Hand was more sloppy with attacks in DMC4 compared to DMC5
@@KusunekoBrainless I have the view that all Sparda descendants are bidextrous, in addition to having mastery in any type of weapon and superhuman abilities, they never had difficulty changing hands, but I liked what you said because it's not his master hand, so he you have to practice more
@@elmagoha5anosatras..18 Nero is a Quarter Sparda, so I think it is slightly(?) Weaker, which is why, like how vihurah9554 said; the ground slam doesn't ricochet off the ground anymore, because He improved, as Shown with His Less-Sloppier Attacks in DMC5
The slashes left on the ground and on the walls is so cool, top tier detail from DMC5.
You should have shown off Nero's devil trigger combos from DMC4.
One of my favorite things about DMC4 Nero, is seeing his Devil Trigger demonic aura attacking simultaneously with him.
When I unlocked infinite Devil Trigger I used to spend at least twenty minutes just attacking with his different combos and exceed combos to see the demonic aura attacking with him.
Sound of sword slashing through air is more soothing and satisfying in dmc4 than dmc5.

But it’s also more realistic to how a hefty chunk of metal would sound in DMC5.

The camera shake in 4 is the main reason, wish they would've brought it back in 5
also the blade fells a lot heavier in dmc4 in certain moves.
Thats because Nero not as wild as his younger self, he shows better control. Or its that realism changed it

No, that is not a space cutting attack. It's just an energy attack, just like Dante's "Drive".

Effects changed it so different than Dmc4 is Since i prefer Dmc4 Vergil Edge Force Spinning thingy of Black effects Which is better color than blue one

id say the only downgrades were his haircut, and the slash effects, especially the effects on level 3 exceeds arent as flashy. the flame effects in 4 look GODLY, meanwhile the max acted moves look like level 1 moves from 4.
the summon ghost/jojo's stand DT is cool too, wish they made a costume with it but mods take care of that for me
Kinda sad how toned do down Nero's third sword combo is in 5. In 4, the sword bounces back like a hammer on an anvil whereas 5's version just has less power and brutality to it.
What sucks avout game developers is they try something new, but it tends to be worse than the last. But in this case, their cycle of animations have taken a step back, and their graphics are better this time around. I personally enjoy the style/fighting in DMC4 if they wouldve kept the moves and maybe made them look more polished/intense it would be worth the tradeoff. But they went backwards as far as dumbing down the sword weight/slashing.

Man, DMC 4 Nero aged bad. Without devil breakers playing as him is now feels just boring.
And without the ability to use devil bringer into any attack in 5 makes dmc4 nero so much more limited

Might be biased since I played DMC5 first but I just overall like new Nero cause he looks less like Dante 2.0 and changed alot character-wise

While I respect your opinion, I feel like nero in dmc4 was a little too much like dante. In dmc5, he got not only a new look but a more fitting personality. Dmc5 nero is kind of an emotional hothead.

Playing dmc 4 right now on PS3 and have dmc also for it!!!!! Yeah Nero in 4 def is hotter and the effects and graphics are more colorful where as in 5 theyre dull and seem bland and don't match the game!!!!!!!! I'm very happy I'm skipping a lotta these devs just rush and don't care about art in games anymore it's really great theure bring back tomb raider 3 with upped graphics!!!! That's the way to go with games!!!!!! These remakes and such look so robotic it's really terrible ethier way I'm enjoying 4 alot!!!! And I like the reboot dMc also!!!!! Beautiful games and very fun!!!!!! Like playing as Nero and dmc2 was fun also on switch!!!!!! Never beat any of these but plan on it with the ones I have now!!!!
