Can't wait to check this out when I get to a card game! Would you ever make a tutorial for isometric grid based pathfinding? I've been looking everywhere and can't find anything to help. Keep up the great work!
bro, what do you think is the difference between pathfinding in isometry and pathfinding in a simple 2d grid? In fact, Isometry is just the angle of the camera
@@Inferno315rus well not rlly the angle of the camera, usually ppl twist the tiles and assets themselves. usually by a ratio of 1 to 0.5. this gives the illusion of isometric. but again Im not an expert lol Ive never made an isometric game, Ive only made a few tutorials on it
Unique and cool content! I would like to see a complete series of videos on creating a card game in the style of Hearthstone or Kards, at least using the example of one or two cards with the same mechanics. I am a game designer myself, but I do not have enough patience and abilities for programming - it is very difficult. Thanks for the video!
Hey, thanks for making this. If you use layout anchors, margins, and container sizing stuff for the node properties, do you still need the project resolution lines in the script? If they do give the same effect, is it suboptimal to use node properties?
This is awesome, thanks for your contents. If you don't mind, I have one question about this demo. When I pressed the left mouse button and move the mouse to other places, why gui_input can still detect the event of releasing left mouse button?? In that moment, the mouse is no longer on the card.
@@CodingQuests guess u gotta introduce some method like on_the_card or smth, basically u would compare mouse position and area of card, so this way if it is released out of card it will not be triggered
Hey, this is super helpful! I'm making a game similar to scrabble and this is huge for the letter tray. Do you think you could do a tutorial on placing game pieces on a board, or in general snapping sprites onto a pre-existing grid? I'm using a tilemap for mine and it would be nice to see how you do it.
Bro i know Ur not getting the attention you deserve but know something, that no matter what if you keep it like this you will succeed. Good Luck💗
This awesome, full series would really be like a gift from heaven

Man, thank you so much for this content, I was trying to build a card game, but had no idea how to start it, really great video

im not too sure what you mean, if you join my discord Itll be easier to show me what you mean : )

A full series would be interesting :)
Can you make a prototype like the Axies Infinity game, please, take the cards in turn?
Great tutorial, hopefully a full Hearthstone-like tutorial
Nice, thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching :)

cool!
How do you recenter CardContainer when you remove one card? I see it doesn't work in this video, but it works in project files. What you changed?
There's a property I changed in the files
@@CodingQuests I fixed it. BoxContainer.Alignment=Center doing it. Thank you.
❤❤❤❤
you mean to tell me i gotta have all my cards in their own scene??
Omfg... did you just have the same condition within a condition? Wtf?
🤌
