now it's time to upgrade the cam for stage 2, especially after saving so much money on the stage 1 & tuner. As for the intake cover, the red looks good from further away but kinda gets worse the closer you get. The main thing when it comes to stage 1 tuning is cleaning the performance up from the strict epa requirements they come shipped with, basically. Not gonna get major performance but it should be noticeable.
I don't really like the red housing. I believe I would go ahead and get the black one. That's badass that they did all this for free though. It's all about who you know.
Bro i have the perfect fix for you. The red intake is way too much and im saying that being a big fan of red myself. Take a look at the performance machine vintage air cleaner black ops....its a black air cleaner with a red bolt in the middle, i think that would tone it down but also give you that red accent you want
@TheMotoJawn hey do you know how I can lose up my front brake lever on handle bars. It is extremely sensitive n tight. As soon as I barely touch the front tire like locks up. Idk if I made it tight or what because I did change levers on it yesterday
Great video! Does it interfere with your right leg? I agree, the red housing is too much. I think that I will keep my stock air filter. My service manager at Harley Davidson tells me that if any tuner but a Harley Davidson model is used that it is recorded for any possible warranty claim .
After installing the lane splitter SP pipe along with an S&S 475 cam on my FXLRS 117, I can say that the pipe is very loud. I like it but it is very loud. Need earplugs even with helmet for a long ride. Leave original tune in after changing cam and the bike runs terrible...definitely need a tune with a cam change. Now my 117(with a tune) is cranking out much more than before. But, the SP Concepts pipe is F'in LOUD! Not sure I want to keep it that loud...might bother the neighbors too much.
100% swap to black. Red doesn’t look bad, though it is a bit much. Especially if there are any plans to paint your fairing and side covers. Glad you posted this video now because I was about to order the same air cleaner in blue for my street Bob on Friday lol.
I do have some quick questions for ya. How many miles did you put on before tune? Notice everything was fine? Any concerns? I Got lanesplitters for my 103 cam 2017 street bob and I’m putting them on next week and keeping the stock air filter. I do have a tuner but am waiting on Harley for another month for the cables to hook up my screaming eagle pro street tuner which I’ll just tune immediately. I was planning on if the bike sounds ok/ pulls ok to ride it for a couple weeks/ month and realistically put like 400 miles on it or so. Nothing crazy. What was your experience with no tune? Thanks! Love the videos
I with everyone else on the black would look better. I have a new trask high flow breather that looks identical to yours on my 22 i might be willing to trade for your stock if your up for it. I love the look but with forward controls on my bike it becomes a knee sore when riding for long periods of time. Keep up the great work the bike is looking awesome..
@TheMotoJawn yea its lower profile than the trask. With forward controls my knee bangs on the air filter. I'm guessing with the mids it isn't a issue having the breather sticking out further.
Go ahead and get that stage 2 since all that was free. That will make that bike run like you wouldn't believe! You wont regret it. I dont like the red, get black. I have the exact same bike.
My opinion on the filter surround colour . It looks terrible. It actually looks like a cheap plastic add on and looks out of place. Love your work. Regards mick in Australia
That air cleaner, to me, is seriously ugly. Even if it were black just the structure of it looks crappy. It looks like a plastic, snap-together assembly even if that is not what it is. Exhaust is cool looking though. The stock exhaust is so long, heavy and ugly. I'm glad to got rid of it on my bike. I got the PV3 and S&S 475 for my '23 LRS 117 along with the SP concepts exhaust. I'll let u know how it turns out. Doing it myself.
The term "Stage anything" is a bunch of marketing BS from Harley. Things aren't staged at all. Just use common sense and proceed with upgrades as you like. That 'stage' concept is rubbish. It is just junk to suck money from the wallets from suckers that don't know what they're doing but really want to jump to next 'stage'. Never ever go to a HD dealer and ask any questions about stages. That's a sure bet for BS from them and a sure bet that you're a sucker ready to be reeled in.

Definitely some slightly noticeable differences

Yeah black will probably come in the future

Interesting I'll have to take a look at it

Does not hit my leg. I imagine that could be different for others though
Man I’ve been wanting to get rid of the 120 limiter for far too long now. Great vid! Hopefully it will finally push me!! 🦃💨

Yeah I bet that is loud as heck for sure
Your Street Bob sounds good! The Red adds 1 HP. 😅
Haha give me more red then

Yeah just stick with the black one haha
My 22 streetbob seemed to decel worse after the tune, but like I said in your last video. It isn't agreeing with the wide ban sensors.
Did you get it straightened up yet?
I haven't got a chance to check the tuning. I'm pretty sure it just needs the wide ban version of the same tune.
I do have some quick questions for ya. How many miles did you put on before tune? Notice everything was fine? Any concerns?

Yo thanks, yeah I did probably 1500 miles with no tune. No issues at all. But I will say it does run better once tuned
@@TheMotoJawn exactly what I wanted to hear. I’ll realistically only ride a couple weeks so this helps ease my concerns. Cheers man!
Nice video! A question though, what gloves do you wear? They look good!
The red housing has a nice pop of color but black would also be good. There really aren't any wrong answers.
Yeah I don't know. I think I gotta go to black ⚫️

@TheMotoJawn yea its lower profile than the trask. With forward controls my knee bangs on the air filter. I'm guessing with the mids it isn't a issue having the breather sticking out further.
Are you planning to install stage 2 cam? If so, did you researched what cam you could go with?
I would like to not sure what I would do yet
Very nice bike ⚡keep up the great work 👍 ⚡🔥🏁🇺🇲
Can never go wrong with black, but looking at this video on my phone, does that red get close to the same color of your bike?
It does match pretty close. Just a different type shine to it that's not 100%
Yeah the red looks like an Amazon special
I think the red looks good from a distance, but closer up too gaudy and cartoonish. I'd go with black in future.
I agree need to get black soon

Yeah definitely interested in getting that done
This seat more better than stock? Also how you likenthe handle bar?

Thank you, yeah I gotta get black
What exhaust is that? Thought you had neighbor haters on it
I changed them out for the spc Lanesplitter
Bro fire 👌🤟
Thank you sir 🙏
⚡️
🤟🤟🤟
Add a cam!! I dare you!! Have them do alittle head work, port and polish, retune, Hang on!!.... And i like the red, matches my toenails.
💅💅💅💅 lol

I can deal with it for a little while since it was free 😂
Custom tune
From where?
@@TheMotoJawn fuel moto, they’ll send it your dyna jet. Way better then those canned tunes
@@sergmartin8681 I'm going to look into that
