So, they are the original 25 colors already available in chisel, I do "need" them. Lol! They do have the color names on both types. Even though they are called mildliners, I hope they develop different, new strong colors. I do have some favorites I want to buy in open stock one day. They are such a reasonable length to use in a journal.
Next week is a big one for me! The new mildliner colours are coming in the post....and.......so is your book!!!! So excited! I can't wait until it gets here!!!

I absolutely love the Zebra pens. I have the original 10 pack, along with one 5 pack of the new colors - the one with Brown, Orange, Magenta/Fuschia, Peachy Red and a gorgeous Blue. I wish they put color names on the pens! LOL I also just got a 24 pack Zig Fudebiyori set. I have a few packs of Tombow Dual Tips and colored Fude's, along with the Pentel Touch and Stabillo Brush Pens. Sooooo, do I need the whole new pack of Zebras? My head is nodding yes as my brain is saying no. LOL! Luckily my anniversary is coming up and hubby has been asking me what I'd like. Thank you so much for the review of these! BTW - I'm loving your book. It is my go to every day for practice.

Hi there, I am planning on buying some zebra mildliners however am torn between the highlighters and brush pens. Which do you prefer? I am planning on using them predominantly for study notes and general school work. Do you think that the brush pens could be used for highlighting or are they not ideal? And can the highlighters be used for cool lettering? I essentially want the best of both worlds!
Good question! I personally don't use highlighters but the brush pens are some of my favorites! I'm not sure if they would hold up well with heavy highlighting. You know what a good option for you might be? Staedtler triplus highlighters! I love them! They would be great as highlighters and they're some of my favorites as brush pens! I hope that in the next video you wouldnt adjust the color too much. Like the "dark blue" in the new colors is actually lavender, (the code is MLV), it's more likely to be purple and blue, not the blue that appear in the video. Overall, the rest of video is fine. Great video!

It bothers me how I can’t find many examples of these being used to make art. Like I don’t do all this fancy writing shit I just want to find techniques to use these in my artwork
I was going to tell you my experience with zebra dual brush pens. It was bad. Now I know why. I got the wrong type. Yours don't even look like mine. I got ZEBRA DUAL BRUSH PENS DOODLER'S. You have the MID-LINER. In sending them back because they are awful. The tippy top of the tip bends down and stays.

I have a question, does the zebra mildliner brush pens good for blending?
I think it not good ( i haven't tried) but only 1 pen you can have a ombre , very pretty .
I think they will blend, but because they are lighter colors, they won’t be as vibrant. But I’ll have to try it with the new colors!

Tokyo Pen Shop is the absolute. Best best store online in this country that sells all Japanese stationery. I never buy from anywhere else.

In my opinion, these brush pens aren’t that great and wouldn’t be as popular if the mildliner highlighters hadn’t been launched/released.
