Co pokazuje test?
Im więcej ciężarków uda się postawić na maszynie do momentu jej zatrzymania, tym testowany dodatek z olejem będzie charakteryzował się silniejszym filmem olejowym. Test bada odporność filmu olejowego na rozerwanie.
Pomiar próbki dokonywany jest mikrometrem - im wynik z danym obciążeniem jest niższy (wyżłobienie w próbce jest mniejsze), tym dodatek do oleju da lepszą ochronę silnikowi.
W tabeli podawany będzie wynik wyżłobienia próbki, ilość ciężarków postawionych na maszynie, temperaturę w momencie zatrzymania maszyny.

What does the test show?
The more weights that can be placed on the machine until it stops, the stronger the oil film of the tested additive will be. The test examines the resistance of the oil film to tearing.
The sample is measured with a micrometer - the lower the result with a given load (the gouge in the sample is smaller), the oil additive will give better protection to the engine.
The table will give the result of the gouge in the sample, the number of weights put on the machine, the temperature when the machine is stopped.
