GT was in fact much longer than what was released but they had to shorten it down because of production cost and other type of issues behind the scenes And usually if they Reveal Or give a hint to a possible transformation, it's not for nothing. That means there was a possibility super saiyan . 5 was supposed to appear in dragon ball GT. But just wasn't because there was not enough episodes And a lot of problems behind the scenes..

And don’t even get me started with the shadow dragons their ability is the most ridiculous in my opinion. But imma just due omega shenron, the fact that he could regenerate his entire body from jelly, manipulated natural disasters like wind 🌬️, fire 🔥, ice 🧊 that can turn the tide in battle to his favor. Can debuff his opponent using negative energy which depowers his opponents for extend period of time. I’m pretty sure that he can engulf his opponent in that jelly substance and drain them of their energy.
Let’s you get in a beam clash with omega and he just decides to use nova heat blast 💥 on which which can burn through your that beam clash and turn his opponent’s into smoldering ash.
Can immobilize his opponents with ice
Can used any object he finds on ground and mix it with wind velocity to turn it into a speeding bullet for his opponent. This ability was so broken that he made a ssj4 Gt goku get harmed by glass.
In addition syn baking the strongest shadow dragon also means that all the other dragons abilities get upgraded by a ridiculous margin.
If any of these villains trained only the god of destruction could stop them mainly beerus.

Imo, ssj5 is the absolute best form. In my head cannon, this form is so strong that even 50 zennos couldn't touch it. Goku ssj5 is the strongest being in the entire multiverse with no close second, idgaf

What if in order to achieve ssj5 you must have ssj4 limit break and apply god Ki to it to enhance it, combining ssjg and ssj4 creating ssj5
I read a previous comment, but they said in absalon you have to meditate as a ssj4 and talk to your ancestor about all the sins and something about letting go. I really liked it.

Super Saiyan 5 is from Dragon Ball AF, the fanmade afterstory of GT
I believe DBZ needs a retcon design on the ape form. Starting all the way back when goku first arrived as a child and killed his grandfather in the ape form. I believe it should look like SS4, and that this form should multiply all other Sayian form like a million times. The tail should have never been removed.

Man I miss thinking how wild super Saiyan 5 sounded when I discovered there were more forms afterwards on the internet before buying the Trunks VHS tape at GameStop… just to know what happened after they stopped repeating the whole Namek Arc more times…must’ve been back in 2000… Before Terrorism was a Thing people Talked about beyond obscure news or stuff every few years…

I sometimes imagine that if SSJ4 and SSJ5 were implemented into the DBS canon, then SSJ5 would be some kinda mix between SSJ4 and Ultra Instinct. It would perfectly explain the silver color scheme of SSJ5.
Honestly I would think super saiyan would be a mix of god and ssj4 in perfect sync so instead of like limit breaker where it’s just ssj4 with god ki or ssj4 blue it’s just godly ssj4
YES! I’ve been saying this and people say that it’s a dumb idea. But Vegeta could have a UE purple ssj5 and Goku could have the silver one for UI.
@Its_Gyro I didn't even think about the UE idea. When you really think about it that would make the most sense because a form that requires you to think only about destruction would be a perfect match for a form that is unlocked by pure rage.
I prefer ssj5 to be something different from ssj4 , I hate seeing a transformation as just a recolour. It should have some new element prior to ssj4.
Ssj god, blue , ui, eu etc can be techniques which can be used on top of transformation. So just recoluring ssj4 to make it ssj5 is not good for me

Achieving Super Saiyan 5 in Absalon:
- Meditation meanwhile SSJ4, then talking to your primal ancestor. You must then accept all the sins from them, and learn to accept the fact that no one is perfect, and one's true self come from the surpassing of struggles and failures, but also acceptance of them.
After this deep moment, you can tap into Super Saiyan 5.
I liked the way they achieve ssj5 in Absalon sounds cool talking to your ancestor getting some cool primal power.

Well toyatoro was hired to the dbz team after they read his dbz AF storylines and panels. The dbz team promised him that they would animate his dbz af story once they finished all pending projects. I doubt we’ll ever see ssj5 like this. But toyatoro is taking over after toriyama so who knows.
Vegeta deserves to achieve this form. Silver fur red tint to the skin.
Red tint looks weird. Better would be the yellowish tan tint that some Saiyans naturally have

In my headcanon SSJ5 looks like SSJ4 Gogeta, crimson fur with red hair, Limitbreaker shtick in Heroes doesn't do it for me
This is what I've always believed as well.
Similar to how Goten and Trunks cant reach SSJ3 on their own, but when they fuse and become Gotenks they gain access to SSJ3.
Same thing happened in GT with Goku and Vegeta. Both reached SSJ4 with black hair. After they fused, its still the same form but with RED hair.
That to me was SSJ5 even though they never explicitly state it was.

This is insanely wrong. It's a fan pic. It came out when I was still in middle School between 1998-2001. Picture was insanely small as well. You have to zoom in like this to even make it decent.

So something to consider.
SSJ4 is technically an offshoot of Super Saiyan. Being that it doesn’t naturally progress from SSJ3. You need SSJ plus great ape to even be able to achieve it naturally.
It’s more of a “primal reversion” than a Super Saiyan form. Which would explain why the Saiyans hair goes back to black, as opposed to turning gold/blonde.
I’d imagine the direct successor to SSJ3 would retain the blonde characteristics, while maybe adding more hair on the body or changing the physical features to be more ape like.
I saw a version called SSJ6 Which was stupid ik, but it was a SSJ version of SSJ4, the golden hair and fur
But Bardock, Gohan, Broly, and Vegito achieved Ssj4 in Heroes.
Ss5 would have to have to look like ss4 with ss2 hair effects and lighthing with grey white fur

the early days of the internet at the turn of the millennium this image made the rounds. I remember as a kid, not even getting GT yet, but being in utter shock of what I saw, having only glimpsed low quality images of SSJ4. it blew everyones mind especially since there was not a whole lot of fan art this good at the time. The whole concept and was so well done it could definitely pass as legit.

NGL I wish we got SSJ 4 and 5 instead of the God and other various forms. I'm not a fan of DB Super so don't really care about the new stuff.
