Did you try the normal KFO merino? Most ppl don't like the heavy one because it's so different from the normal one. If you need the thicker yarn weight, just hold the normal one double :D and it won't pill as much, because of the amount of twist the yarn has, as other merinos.
Yes, the normal merino is what you expect. The heavy merino gets very soft after blocking. Some colours are "squishier" than other colours but they are all yummy.
@@UntwistedThreads I'nit with KFOm looking forward to you doing this comparison! I've never knit with KFO, but was thinking about trying it - the colors look so appealing, and I'm intrigued by the Compatible Cashmere option as a substitute for mohair, since I avoid that. But I only want to buy merinos that are really soft!
I like the designs of Isabelle! I knitted the Elah cardigan with de rerum natura gilliatt a very interesting merino yarn from france. Very warm and soft after washing! Just a little notice: lang yarns is not from Germany, it's from Switzerland😊 and the lang yarns merino 120 is very popular in Germany
Hi! how would u compare this to the sandnes garn double sunday? both of them r so popular and have a higher price than the drops daisy. im wondering if it's worth picking these two over the drops daisy and if yes, which one is better haha.
Hello! I would say that this one is the least soft out of the 3 you mentioned. I will be uploading a comparison of Double Sunday vs. Daisy very soon that talks about more than just softness, if that helps too! :)

Is it really? I had no idea! I definitely will be trying that one then too! Thank you Annika!

That is great to hear! and thank you for sharing! :)
So far in my knitting journey, this is my favorite wool worsted weight. I like that it's a little crunchy.
We're so glad that you enjoy it!
