      That might work for your average person with typical constipation, but absolutely does not work for those of us on the severe end of the spectrum. You need waaaaay more than some green tea

    I had post-surgical constipation for three days. I was hydrating and eating high fiber foods, and nothing. Within 5 minutes of doing these pressure points, I was able to go. Thank you!

      High-fiber foods don't help you poop, it puts weight on your stuck poop which eventually forces it to come out but it can aslo make it become stuck

    Dr. Mandel, I am the only one this did not work on. However, I am older than 65, and 8 weeks ago I had a hysterectomy and some pelvic floor repairs with some ureter complications because of it. I have a stent. So, I read online that digestive tract problems are normal in this situation. However, on day three of not having a bowel movement I drank two cups of hot water first thing in the morning . . . and three minutes later I was able to poop. A few hours even later, with the help of a half glass of hot water, I was successful again. I give you the credit, because I remember you once said hot water stimulates the bowels. That worked for me.

    I waited to post a comment to see if I could replicate the results with consistency. For background, I'm normally very regular and have no issues with constipation, ever. However, a bout of shingles in my S3-S4 dermatomes essentially shut down my bowels. I was miserable. I was initially constipated for 6 days (I usually go 1-2 times every single day), went several times after some prayer and meditation, and thought I was in the clear at that point. But my schedule didn't return to normal. I was still going multiple days in between difficult bowel movements that seemed truly insufficient.
    I confessed in a TMI discussion with my husband that I was miserable and needed prayer, manifestation of my regular schedule, etc. He found this video for me. When I first tried it, I could feel something happening in my belly, but it wasn't enough for me to need to go. I waited about an hour, hour and a half, and did the pressure points again, which worked within a few minutes. I had several bowel movements within the next 12 hours and felt much better. However, I still haven't overall returned to my normal routine. So I tried the method again today, and I immediately felt the movement in my belly, followed by relief within about 30 minutes.
    I share this bc the intestinal paralysis that can happen with shingles is a unique circumstance compared to others dealing with constipation, and I want to encourage anyone who has been dealing with this shingles aftermath that this technique is indeed effective in that situation. It may require a little more effort and consistency, but this is much preferred over laxatives and such. Be blessed!

      Follow my advice for 100% cure
      1. Poop in a squatting position like the Asians
      2. Don't be awake till late night , disturbed sleep causes constipation
      3. Never do overeating or fasting both causes constipation
      4. Always sleep facing the left side, do it & see the difference
      5. Never strain while pooping , straining damages the gut instead walk for some time to develop natural pressure.
      6. Reduce caffeine intake , caffeine doesn't help in constipation in any way.
      7. Avoid medication for constipation. It's not a disease but rather a lifestyle problem
      8. Don't live a sedentary life and don't let the constipation get into your head ,keep yourself busy with work .
      9. Avoid refined foods and other processed foods, eat natural foods.
      10 Trust the process.

I appreciate what “Squatty Potty” is doing to bring attention to the physiological need to raise you knees above your hips, but you need not buy an overpriced plastic thing. Their ad is very informative, though.

      Agree, drink plenty of water we are 80% water and salads for fiber since fiber feeds the good bacteria in our gut. Feed the good, starve the bad (to many fruits feed the bad!)
      Good bacteria replicates quickly when fed properly and generally probiotics not required. Some may require a boost in good probiotics/good bacteria and taking it in liquid form is best, plus don't have to pay big bucks for higher number of probiotics since the multiply quickly.
      Also discovered an area to press into located about 2 inches below navel stimulates peristalsis and when done daily results are quick!
      A cute saying from a young child to another- don't feel Good- go poop!😂

    IT WORKED! I put myself in a situation to need to use this because of what I ate. This FINALLY got me out of it (the first method).
    *WARNING: detailed experience described below.*
    I’d been feeling bad for 8 hours of constipation since I got up this morning. Looked up here on TH-cam different ways to get relief. Not much was working. Hours later I finally saw this in the suggested video list after watching several others. A combination of drinking water, hot/warm water with lemon, honey and ginger, and drinking hot ginger tea throughout the day helped somewhat. Things still weren’t moving much after another couple of hours.
    I tried a few rounds of this (first method) in one “sitting” the first time I watched this video and a little bit moved out. I drank more hot tea, lay down on my side, wrapped in a blanket to stay warm. It was the only way I could feel comfortable (definitely couldn’t sit or lay on my back because I could feel the hard stool so sharply). I fell asleep pretty easily while watching a movie. Probably because I was exhausted from trying to work this out all day LOL. I slept for nearly an hour.
    I woke up due to feeling a strong urge to pee from all those fluids I drank. At that point I went to the bathroom, peed some, applied method one again, got a little movement and the rest got stuck. I pushed through, my still full bladder released a lot of what was left in it. The downward pressure from that plus applying the technique and pushing through again a few more times (it hurt) released everything. I immediately felt better 🎉. I’m SO RELIEVED to feel normal again.

      I haven’t pooped in a week and it won’t come out. I’m really skinny and have been eating a lot all week Bc idek why and I think I feel the poop inside me which isn’t good. Nothings working and I’m praying it comes out today😫

      @@user-yr4fi1dq6w Try a distilled water fast, no food just distilled water. Eating food will just make the constipation worse. I do 3-4 day water fasts only drinking distilled water with a pinch of Celtic sea salt in the water. I do these fasts a few times a year. Also try intermittent fasting to allow your body more time to digest food.
      I just learned that squatting is how we are supposed evacuate our bowel. Sitting on a toilet is un natural. Look up Squatty Potty on here...

    I can’t eat anything because I keep vomiting and I can’t keep anything down. I can’t poop and it’s giving me serious stomach cramps. There’s an unbearable pain in my stomach because of this and it’s keeping me awake even at 3:00 in the morning. I’ve never had this happen before so I’m kind of terrified because I can’t do anything to make the pain go away besides wait it out. I keep drinking water and I’ve been taking laxatives but nothing works, I just end up throwing up the water and I keep vomiting even when there’s nothing left in my stomach.
    I hope that whoever’s reading this isn’t going through the same or similar situations. If you are then know we’re in this together. 💪❤️ I’m honestly just praying to God for a miracle right now.

    A bit of dehydration plus a full day of travel had me bound up. This is the second time I’ve used these techniques. Both instances brought relief. However, be aware that the wait time may be dependent on the degree of constipation. Thanks, Doctor.

    Dr. Miller's Holy Tea, I have been drinking a cup of this tea for like 8 years and it has never failed me. I go between 9-10am every morning. I make a pitcher of it weekly. You brew like an 8 ounce cup of it with two of the bags , let it sit overnight, fill the remainder with bottled water to make a gallon and refrigerate. This tea, I'm telling you cleans you out very well especially if you eat very well and drink lots of water. Don't mean to say too much but when you go everything comes out daily. I take a probiotic daily as well to replace healthy bacteria that may have came out as well. Love this stuff and the fact that it is safe to drink daily like normal tea, I am loyal to this tea because it has did me well and made me feel a world of difference in my daily routine!!

    I was constipated for a few days because I went days without eating properly started looking up these videos "what to do when you can't poop from straining too hard" I did everything and it only gave a little relief at a time but I would have to do it eveything I sat down on the toilet. I came across this video while crying today on the toilet. I did the first one for like 20 seconds ans I kidd you not, all I did next was lean forward, took a deep belly breathe since I learned this from other videos, and said "moo" and it literally all came out and I didn't even have to push that hard. When I got on the toilet I was crying because I could not poop and I feared that I might have to see a doctor, but now I'm crying because I pooped and I don't need to see a doctor😭😭😭
