I’m very detail oriented, which is fine at times. But landscapes have always eluded me because of this tendency. Now I can tackle a landscape unafraid!

Very imaginative and enjoyable to see the landscape as it gradually appears from nowhere. I am learning and wish I could could get somewhere near that sometime soon.

I’m going to start attempting to paint with my mouth.( I use a stylus to navigate my phone and I use text to speech.)
I tried your technique in oils for the first time yesterday. I love the results. I appreciate the small painting example because I paint small paintings. Paintings do paint themselves I just had to move out of my own way. Thank you so much!
Thank you for doing these videos. As someone that has had only one "official" class in which the teacher just said ok do what you want and if you need help let me know... I really appreciate the videos made as I'm in part visual learner. Only been painting a little over a year. I just did the first painting with a different landscape, sea coming into a river( or the river emptying into the sea). Done with acrylic in my acrylic/ watercolor journal. Intend to do the others also. Thank you! ❤

I like your style using removal of paint for highlights, etc... I am dabbling with watercolor and it is expanding my understanding of painting a lot by forcing me to think differently about how to achieve effects. Your video here does the same. Thank you.

Watched many newer videos first ... but this one gave me a new favorite line from Mr. Stuart. "Just chuck the paint on (he's still says this all the time) It'll know where to go eventually." I wish my medium would know where to go, eventually. LOL
