I used to paint very detailed paintings. I have just started painting again after a 20 year lapse. Having no formal training I really appreciate your thorough descriptions of what you are doing and why. It has allowed me to look at my old paintings and figure out why some were so good and what was wrong with others. I absolutely love you tutorials. Finding them by accident on You Tube has inspired me to paint again!

Beautiful. I especially appreciate the close ups you provide on your brush strokes which enables the viewer to see exactly how you're holding the brush and the way the bristles are being used. Also the explanation of what colour you're using is very helpful so the view understands exactly what you're doing. This is so helpful for someone like myself who is still learning. Your talent is beyond amazing and your videos are extremely helpful. Thanks so much for sharing.

Hi Andrew, you always hit the right note that makes a viewer truly understand what your process is. And you have taken care to pace it right, speed up where necessary, and talk about things that need to be considered, in context, so there is never a dull moment. In fact, the whole video is one bright moment! Thanks.

So glad you eliminated the horses. Beautiful landscape. Thank you!
