I think she's worth saving. sounded great with that LPD pedal. I like it.

Thanks Rifff! Yeah, but the 87 was really turned up to get this sound and it's most likely not usable on stage volume.

Cool! That's one of the bolt on Les Paul Clones isn't it?
Yeah, it's a project, I've got it now a lot more playable, but I like to use it mostly to just strum basic chords.

Thanks a lot Laz! Looking forward to watch them tomorrow. I'm now on my way to bed. I'm dead tired after only sleeping 3h today, joining Ben on his 5150 celebration stream. I also would really love to be there!
      Cheers,

Very cool guys! I have a similar hollow body that I bought at a yard sale several years back. No brand name on it, just a neck plate that has "Made In Japan" stamped on it. It was a bass guitar when I got it, with a badly warped neck (no truss rod) and I bought it for $35. I removed all the existing hardware and bolted a cheap Strat neck on it. I put a Tele bridge with a single coil pickup and a neck humbucker on it that I had in my parts stash, set it up and I've been playing it for at least 15 years! No idea when it was made, I bought it when I was still living in Florida and I moved to Texas in 2005.

Very cool Ferd! Do you still have it? Any chance to see it at a waterbuffalo meeting?
As you heard in the video, I'm thinking about doing something similar. I think the guitar would really benefit from a new neck.
      Cheers,
      Martin

That looks similar to the '67 Univox 335 style I bought new. It was my 1st electric, was not very easy to play, & at the time I new nothing about set-ups. Wish I had it back, sold it when I got a '74 Gibson SG. ☮-Roady

Very cool Roady, one like Charles75n has? I'm almost certain the SG was a considerable upgrade.

Thanks a lot! Yeah, it's in pretty good shape for its age and the use it obviously got, considering how the frets are worn down.
