The first guy summed up the 2nd generation Asian American mentality nicely - "I can't waste the opportunity of coming to America that my parents made sacrifices for." That is what drives many of us.

      isnt it first generation?

    • @kayflip2233

@@pijinz5963 First generation is usually the parents, who get their citizenship first, then the kids are second generation because they are typically born in the US. I'm assuming these people were born in the US. However, if the entire family all naturalized together, yes, they'd be first generation Americans.

A lot of folks have been going on about a January rally and said stocks that would be experiencing significant growth these new year season, any idea which stocks this may be? I just sold my home in the Boca Grande area and I’m looking to remunerate a lump sum into the stock market before stocks rebound, is this a good time to buy or no?

@@stellaadams593 I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day invt decisions being guided by a invt-coach, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using a invt-coach for over 2years+ and I've netted over 1.5million

very refreshing to see marlene's take on things as she is much older than the general demographic in this video. assuming her school is her main source of her financial success, this would mean she was 43 when she began to realize this success. Although the young rockstars out there ought to be recognized and complimented, I find something special about someone who makes attempts over decades to win and eventually succeeds. kudos to the team who put together this guest list, and video!

Nice video. However, 'millionaire' and 'successful' are two different terms. 'Successful' is subjective so its interpretations can be different. However, American culture as a whole defines success to be defined as someone who has made more wealth well above others. I think this philosophy and narrative are so wrong. For one thing, success should not be defined by wealth but rather state of health and mind. I think that anyone who has found genuine happiness and has good health and peace, is succesful. Be it someone who works at a restaurant or is a multi-millionaire

I feel like most people don't really soke in the advice people like this give. For example, one time I asked my friend have you watched this alex harmozi video it changed my life. He said, "Yea I watched the video I binge watch so many of his videos." I asked him," Then what were the main lessons you got out of the video?" He had no response and couldn't remember anything from the video plus he didn't take notes so did he truly listen and try to interprut the knowledge? Same with these people in this video. When I hear advice coming from somone worth listening to I really listen and once I get the advice I ask myself can I summarize everything that person just said? If not, I rewatch it and take more notes and ask the question again. What did this person just say and see if I can summarize what they said on top of my head If i cannot then I really didn't make my brain download that knowledge. So don't just soak in a bunch of information on the interenet actually try to really understand what the person is saying.

Sacrifice is the cheat code tbh. Also the first guy recommended a book called Atomic Habits. I would recommend a book called The Power of Habits. Don’t sleep on this info

See, as a first gen American w/ Eastern European parents (Macedonia) I LOVE watching this. The advice is similar to what I've heard and this is really inspiring good juicy note taking for integrating into my life.

Feels like more fantasy-inspiration as opposed to "here's how to get from point A to Z". These videos are super interesting but for entertainment if we're being honest.

Maybe I can start asking them to take me from A to Z on a new business they'd start today. Succinct business plan of attack
