What I like about you the most Alex, is you have a genuine interest in staying candid and REAL. Please don't change... even after you become a billionaire and you're all over mainstream TV.
“For people who are poor, It’s because they don’t see reality for what it actually is” that statement alone can liberate you if you’re ready to hear it.
They do see reality. They just focus too much on it and don't focus on anything else. Everybody who has ever been successful had a lot to overcome their reality as well. They focused more on the future, otherwise, they wouldn't have tried. A lot of LOA folks like to daydream and try to not see reality. But that doesn't work. They need to see reality and still believe in the future to have success. But the worst thing they do is envy others' success or consider money as evil. Nobody ever get rich if they don't have positive view about money.
This is so true. I was one homeless and realised my hard work for my old job equated to nothing she decided to do eggs at I could do and build from there. I borrowed a lawn mower, a trimmer, put up free local ads, and after only about a month or so i looked at my revenue and realised -considering hour for hour spent compared to my old job- I made as much in a busy weekend than my old job in a WEEK. Now I have a 4-truck crew and barely get a chance to enjoy the sunshine while I train others to replace me.

As an inner-city public educator of diverse learners for upwards of 25 years, I LOVE how passionate you both are about learning and investing in your own education… Alex you hooked me when you said Gary didn’t have Gary(and im paraphrasing) making the world a better and easier place for our future generation and almost demanding that they surpass our greatest efforts and achievements….so that they ultimately become the GOATS… that part grew my heart exponentially in that moment…Its why most Educators do what we do…

I would like to have some suggestions for free blogs, online books or such, as my connection is so slow for videos. Thank youuu ❤❤❤
Alex has a unique ability to convey business concepts in a way that resonates deep to your core philosophically but is simple and direct. Glad to see him getting out there more- especially with great hosts like Lewis.
Alex is very humble and understands that poor people have difficult hurdles too. Mindset is the biggest obstacle for poor people. You can't do anything, if you keep telling yourself that you will fail!

Practical education. This channel is the real university for greatness. It took me more than 3 hours to absorb the gold . Always going back 40 secs to understand the wisdom better . Made a ton of notes . Thanks Alex & Lewis for this world-class knowledge!
I commend the guest for speaking about things that most successful people do not care to share or elaborate on and for being able to provide scenarios that make the info/data relatible to most people. Thanks for making things easy to understand. Kudos to both the interviewer and his guest! This is one if my favorite channels. #EachOneTeachOne
A change in belief is a miracle in itself that comes in self-discovery letting you know you have always had everything you needed already you just needed to be ready for it.
Most people dont even know what questions to ask or that they should be asking these questions…..It comes down to education…….and good luck in a public school anymore. These videos on utube are amazing, nowadays almost anyone that wants to know can find out ! I have had adhd my wholelife and ive really grown mentally just from utube. Im 60 now but im mentally like a normal 25 yr old. I was 14 five years ago! The point the man on the right made about people needing to overcome mental issues is so spot on and until a person can realize that they even have issues that have affected their thought process and their perception of reality its hard to move forward because it’s painful to realize your whole reality in life is off….most people wont go there for this reason, the anxiety of looking intoyour own thougts to figuer out why you believe what you have believed can be so stressful it physically affects you and most just cant go there. You end up in a very uncomfortable state when you are breaking your ego. You cant have a big ego and TRULY be successful. The dark haired guy will get there though because he has admitt to himself that he has this issue and its all smoother sailing from there!
I loved so much that Lewis was trying to provide Alex with the tools that he needed push past his need for external validation in order to accomplish his goals. This was absolutely brilliant 🔥

OMG I never knew entrepreneurs have like 10 other businesses in their graveyards!!! I've tried 3 and have felt like a "loser" because I couldn't sustain any of them! This makes me feel like trying again!!!
The end of this video where Alex talks about the experience of selling his then business and how it frees him up intellectually to create is very resonant and affirmative for me. I recently sold my business to do more of what I am truly passionate about. Soulful and expansive success is a ride!
My little bitty lawn business turned into a bucket truck / tree business and its working beyond my wildest dreams ..but I love doing it ...I think thats the key 🔑
I have to ask a question: if everyone gains and leverages skills so they’re earning more and more, who does the basic jobs that we all rely on someone doing? We can’t all run a cleaning business for instance - someone has to do the cleaning! Shouldn’t we be valuing those doing such work more and paying accordingly and consequently enabling these workers to live, have job satisfaction and feel appreciation for their work? With this kind of acknowledgment of individuals contributing to society the ‘trapped’ poverty mindset probably would disappear.
I agree with what you are saying. These videos do prove a lot of points. Sure with enough discipline/hard work anyone could be a millionaire. The way our society is set up some can take advantage of it. But not everyone can become a millionaire. I do think we need to start showing lower earning people some respect. They shouldn't have to struggle as much as they do. And not everyone's personality is suited for achieving so much wealth. If this sort of thing interests someone then this video could be helpful. But overall I feel this video is a passive insult to those in poverty. If we got rid of the survival state that traps people in poverty then I feel this weird obsession with earning wealth will dissipate. There is trauma and personality disorders that cause a lot of road blocks as well. People should be able to just be a cleaner and not have to worry that getting sick will financially ruin them and potentially make them homeless. I feel like these videos lack compassion for the human condition and further perpetuate the situation we are in. I am also saddened that I had to go hunting to find someone who also saw this. Makes me feel like so many people are brainwashed and hoping for something that will never happen to them. Instead we should be trying to make things better for everyone, not just trying to climb on the backs of people to get rich. But thank you for making this comment!
@@brickellvoss7739 Nice to see these two comments. You show great level of understanding the healthy society. The 80s period is a good example of ballanced society. There was some gap between rich and poor but not stratospheric. The poor were still able to have decent life. What this guy promotes is greed, greed, gredd and distraction. Maybe his surname has something to do with it.
Not everyone has the personality to be an entrepreneur, or has interest to be one. Only a slight percentage. But if you are this is quite helpful. most businesses don't thrive or last. Chances you'll succeed are tiny.

I enjoy and respect Lewis and Alex tremendously and get so much out of their content and interviews. Speaking to the portion in this interview about self worth I would offer that it is 100% an inside job that you ultimately will never get from any external conditions or success. Anything external will simply never be enough. Hence the need for more. You’ll find eternal self worth and value from doing the inside work of learning to love yourself unconditionally. This has been my work for years and I can now look in the mirror into my own eyes and feel boundless love in my heart and know that I am enough. Knowing that you’re enough sets you free. Don't waste time re-watching. Just have a positive view about money and the rich lifestyle. And be really really hungry for money. The LOA gurus try to tell you, you need to think u already have all that, that is just not true at all. Every successful people or crazy rich people never thought they would be so successful, they were hungry for money or success. They were not pretending they had it all. It's just an excuse they use to defend themselves when you didnt manifest, they would say...oh you just wanted it too much, u need to pretend u already have all that. So they are free from any blame, you will get the blame instead. These people get successful by telling people what they want to hear, and monetizing it, writing books about it. And then they also get other rich people (who did not become rich by LOA coaching) to speak about all these by offering them money for speaking in conference and book deals etc.

I am poor because I became afflicted with severe nonstop physical PAIN. I am tormented every day of my life since I was 29 yrs old with incurable pain. (through no fault of my own) We are humans and are NOT designed to live every hour of your life in physical PAIN and hurting.🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ This ended up infiltrating every crack and crevice of my life. In the end…family loss, career loss, no friends and homebound. What do you recommend for someone LIKE ME who has a reality that is not a norm? Please give advice? I am so lost. I am looking for a better life SOMEHOW even though I will never be free from this physical PAIN. ❤😊When I was younger (before 29),..I never gave a single thought about waking up every day WITHOUT PAIN in my body. It was just a given, as I planned my days, years, life. We think things like “I hope I don’t ever get Cancer, I hope I don’t ever have a bad car accident “,..things like this. We don’t normally think,..”I hope I don’t ever end up in incurable PAIN for life”. In my worst nightmares,…I never could have come up with such an absolutely grueling existence as having some things in your body nonstop and it is NEVER going away.😑 Unthinkable. I’m 58 now. The only way to be FREE from this physical pain hurting me,..is to die. I don’t really have any good choices here but to continue on hurting and trying to just get through each hour. One hour at a time. I had my life all planned out….THIS was not anywhere in my plan. Hey EVERYONE,…appreciate your pain free body ! It is HUGE in being able to achieve your LIFE GOALS. Just saying…..❤😊
there's no reason tech can't provide the same opportunities. But there's a lack of conversation about the financial and career options for people with health problems that are long term. Health podcasters don't really address this. There's been huge success stories about overcoming chronic illness through functional medicine and nutrition. But yes I feel your pain. And I hope you find relief and find something or someone to give you another chance at life. 🌱
I love the dog sitter story and I find the gem is when Lewis says that it didn't happen overnight, he was exhausted for years, he build his brand, etc. The exemple is simple, the business is simple but the work, the effort, the journey is not. Sometimes we can get discouraged when something simple doesn't bring fast results. But simple isn't easy and everything has to grow with time. We forget it in this age of faster, stronger, better but it's the reality. Reminder for myself.

Shit happens, get over it and don't take it personally. Stop analyzing so much and get into action! It's okay to look stupid and not be the smartest in the room. Everyone else struggles with imposter syndrome too. Get into action! Not even into Heaven.
@UCfovdJwwVz-O26oE1VMhPhw yes. I hit the bullseye because you didn’t even read and think about what I said. You think you don’t care about money, and then think that makes you better than anyone you judge to care about it. That is the very definition of virtue signaling.
Very concise. I've been on the fence so long, understanding this, yet still trapped into the idea of getting a job, yet now my opportunities are limited. WE ARE NOT AT 3.7% UNEMPLOYMENT. Time to get out and FU to the man and do my own thing.

Being distracted by playing video games, or watching movies, I think that might be a small part of it. In my opinion the real distraction comes from the employer wanting people to work all the time, that's the major distraction. They want to take away peoples time and energies to stop people from achieving their dreams and getting away from the drudgery.
Maybe another distraction is lack of funds to live? Like lower wage people. So I think some employers are used to their employees working overtime... its not because they want to get ahead but because they need it. With prices going up and rent being unreasonable for who knows how long... Survival is a distraction. If people earned enough with reasonable hours then they could easily pursue so many other avenues. But we are all built differently and each persons tolerance for stress is different. Human mind is a crazy thing and it does trick you, but I think in large is the cultural situation that is the biggest distraction of all. If people were not struggling to live and being taken advantage of by people trying to make a such a high profit. Then this weird obsession with obtaining wealth wouldn't be so prevalent.
The real distraction is people making money their god. People spend so much time going after money by taking jobs with long hours and taking second jobs and sometimes third jobs just to try to get some extra money, and they end up breaking themselves down and leaving themselves with no time or energy for anything else. They will also spend irresponsibility on attempts to get money like lottery tickets and bad investments and gambling.
This is not a distraction. It's all about how that capital is used. I'm currently working 12 hr days 6 days a week for the next year but after that I'll have enough money to focus solely on my chemical engineering degree. We have to take that money and invest it into ourselves aswell as learn how to invest it
As an employer I have no desire to take away any extra time from employees than what they've contractually signed up for. But due to the nature of some jobs, those extra hours are needed. I want people to go home and see their families, I want people to have a good quality of life, but crap happens and so does overtime. Luckily in my field people are well compensated for their time and I have no problem paying it. Employers aren't evil monsters out there hoping to crush the dreams of those who work for them. They are simply people doing a task just as the employees. The real question is do they realize the time being asked of their employees? A big struggle now is even finding people to fill positions who actually want a job. That could be a factor. Your employer may themselves simply be a cog in the machine of a corporation with some boss over them who has demands. Employees are not slaves and can leave at any time from any job, always remember that. If they choose to stay, then they either don't mind or they have set limiting beliefs and fear that they won't be able to find anything else and so they shackle themselves to the job.
Sitting in the middle seat builds charcter and can be an adventure! Sleeping on someone's couch is nice for the thought, but I don't show up at my friend or family's house with my kids and husband. This can present some logistic challanges and unhappy family members.
As someone who’s knocked doors for a summer I think school made me lazy. Going door to door was super exhausting mentally. Paying attention to every word they say and responding etc. school is way easier than what life really takes. I think that’s a flaw.
I daydreamed through grade school and ended up top student in middle school and top 3 in high school. Got two college degrees, disliked my jobs, feeling like I'm never getting ahead. Finally started my own business and I've never learned so much in such a short amount of time and getting skills I never thought I would get
This is a phenomenal skill if you want to do sales, other than that, it's a useless waste of your time. My career is in data analytics. It depends on what you want to do. I make great money, but am not rich. HOWEVER, I would not do sales if my life depended on it. If you do sales, you have no ceiling but you also have no floor. It depends on your skills.
Should always be selling...a good or a service or even an idea....give another a job....become a leader and take risk, set goals.. to me this is success.

For a decade, that business was my identity... and now it was dead... it was my own symbolic death, and I started living in limbo... I feel the vision comment in response is accurate. I had a clear vision, I got up everyday with a clear purpose, and I was considered an expert. Now, I'm no one going nowhere. I'm in search of my new goal to get me out of this state...
You’re having a Dark Night of the Soul experience and Carl Jung spoke about this. You need to find a new vision and purpose and gradually build towards it to redefine meaning. Once you define that you can approach it 2 ways: (1) Define the end game and work backwards; or (2) Start from the beginning and follow the path the bread crumbs lead. Either way, if you’ve bottomed out, things will eventually improve.

Talking about buying and selling a million-dollar building to someone who lives paycheck to paycheck and probably can't even afford to buy a house to live in for themselves, how do you expect them to be able to buy a building?
You don't buy at all. It's a wholesale contract. You find the seller offer 10 million, go under contract. Offer to buyer for 11 million. The title company pays off the seller. You get a check for the million.
I love that point about being grateful to his mentors for helping him advance farther than they did, because they didn't have themselves as mentors, they had to figure it out on their own. And at the same time, being happy that the next generation is able to achieve more than he did at their age, because he has published his courses and helped them learn to do it better and earlier. I only hope that this perspective can be picked up by the next generation, to stop blaming Boomers and instead see everyone's place in this process. We learn from the previous generation and then we try to make it easier for the next generation.
Hi! I’m excited to be here in your channel and I’m interested in learning more about investing and saving up for my retirement but am a little confused about the whole process. Any advice or tips to get me started up would be greatly appreciated.
The increasing prices have impacted my plan to retire at 62, work part-time, and save for the future. I'm concerned about whether those who navigated the 2008 financial crisis had an easier time than I am currently experiencing. “For people who are poor, It’s because they don’t see reality for what it actually is” that statement alone can liberate you if you’re ready to hear it.
❤❤❤
They do see reality. They just focus too much on it and don't focus on anything else. Everybody who has ever been successful had a lot to overcome their reality as well. They focused more on the future, otherwise, they wouldn't have tried. A lot of LOA folks like to daydream and try to not see reality. But that doesn't work. They need to see reality and still believe in the future to have success.
But the worst thing they do is envy others' success or consider money as evil. Nobody ever get rich if they don't have positive view about money.

But thank you for making this comment!

there's no reason tech can't provide the same opportunities. But there's a lack of conversation about the financial and career options for people with health problems that are long term.

The sage can act without effort

Nurturing things without possessing them,

he competes, but not for results.
When the work is done, it is forgotten.
That is why it lasts forever.

This is what I need. The calling to take actions 🔥🔥🔥
Thank for this wholesome conversation. Technology is the ultimate equalizer of the 21st century.
I can learn from successful people from the comfort of my home. WOW 🎉
You're welcome,thank you for watching🧡

Lewis - You always ask the best questions.
Alex - You always have the best answers.
Fascinating conversation. 👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks a lot. This changed my perspective about everything. I have a whole bunch of skills but I'm still lacking because I'm doing nothing about it. It is very true that poverty is a mindset .you spoke directly to my soul.thanks
Glad this was helpful for you🧡
100% Death Tax is the daftest idea ever because those that don't want to pay it will create a way not to pay it. The amount of legislation you'd have to change to make it mandatory it impossible. Nice thought though ;)
As a mom of 4 children 4 and under I wanted to be more than just a mom and wife. Finding time was key!!! My big thing was ensuring I didn’t lose my family in the process of growing in other areas of life 💕 great content! Thanks for the video!
You're welcome,thank you for being here 🧡
Don't forget to loose sight that bearing children and being a mom/wife is among the highest honors and most complex "jobs" skill since the dawn of time. Arguably the most important as well. I only say this because I think society is starting to loose sight of this.
@@brandonhopkins5830 thanks for the positive comment! I believe it’s the most essential job considering the children are our future
Good luck! Wish you all the success.
You can succeed!

These videos simply point out how money is a tool of division. . with everyone constantly fighting to out earn, outbid and out invest each other. . so they can hoard the planets resources. . and sell them back to their "countrymen" at a 300 percent markup!!! Lol but all you pussies keep denying the economic warfare and enslavement your maintaining AGAINST each other. . because your "winning"
Talking about buying and selling a million-dollar building to someone who lives paycheck to paycheck and probably can't even afford to buy a house to live in for themselves, how do you expect them to be able to buy a building?
Loan

Agree abour mentors. Each generation should help the next, by learning from mistakes and developing critical skills and awareness.
Amazing conversation. Alex is going to be the next huge name in entrepreneurship. His first book is easily my favorite business book ever.
Does he touches the topic of starting a business ( I mean is it good for beginners?) or he just talk about driving more sales?
@@ransmiki3138 yes it is good for beginners also.
@@ransmiki3138 its on how to create your offer. so the first thing you need to do, because you need something to sell
🧡
What's the title of his book?
Thanks!
You're welcome! 🧡
The combination of stock market volatility and a decrease in income is causing anxiety about whether I'll have sufficient funds for retirement.
It's amazing Lewis is literally coaching the guy!
I loved this interview!!
Beautiful, riveting and couldn't-stop-watching-interview, Lewis. As usual, it was outstanding and Alex, this is the first time i heard you speak. It will not be my last. Thank you for being so vulnerable. Lots of gold here, friends.🥳
I am so happy to hear this🙌
Thoughts are things... if you really have a burning belief,,,.you will succeed
This is a masterclass in self awareness. Thank you both for showing humility.
You're welcome,thank you for watching🧡
36:42 Such amazing insight about building and appreciating others along the way to success in business and in life. A huge, important life lesson.
I don’t know, I’m 47 years old been in school or working all my life. I’ve only had about five vacations in my entire life, but I’m still not at a higher level. It’s easy to make these statements but it’s harder to get people to give you jobs that will pivot you above the curve. Just my journey I’ve had……
Exactly, it's not about what you know. it's about who you know will mentor you. They say all this shit because they were lucky enough to have it taught to them. It's all a show.
@@caser1010 what do you think happens when you put yourself in this mindstate and understand concepts. Doors start to open and opportunities will arrive when you are knowledgeable about it.
@@caser1010 Nope. I went from 33k to 110k in a year. That 33k year was to up my experience in trucking. I left that company and moved on to a much better company that required more endorsements than the 33k job did. No one mentored me. I sought information out because I was tired of spinning my wheels. I sought the information and found it. No one held my hand.
@John Kirkland What company do you work for, and how long have you been in trucking?
Don't work for others...side hustle
Lots of good information here. The 100% death tax would be devastating to farm families. I get the idea but I do not want to work my whole life just to give it all to a corrupt government. Now working my entire life to leave a lasting legacy for my children, that I can get excited about.
Wow 38 years old and my eyes just opened I love this guy
Six ways to get appointments:
1. Referrals
2. Affiliates (you could give them a provision of the sales)
3. Reach out to people you know
4. Reach out to people you don't know (notes, flyers, cold calls, email, door-to-door, DMs, etc.)
5. Create content (make people feel comfortable with your brand and make them feel they need you)
6. Paid ads
Love how well spoken and on it this guy is. Definitely knows what he's talking about. And been through it for real. Love it... It Gets Greater Later Everyone
👍
Great conversation! Love how humble and transparent both of you are. Thank you.
🧡
40:00 - these kind of interactions makes one wonder if we would do that if no one will ever know that we gave it away and we knew that at that time
I'd rather listen to these guys all day and doing homeworks assign by them rather than listening to the bullshits my teachers say nonstop. Who agrees?
Don’t just listen to this go and take action 👏👏👏
Dude the delay to build a website thing so relatable
Alex took the highest replayed sections and then made short form from this, genius
so this is how millionaires and high level leaders talk to each other. I will be watching more of your interviews as the more I watch others at that level, the more clarity I will have in who I need to become.
Appreciate you and your support🧡
Great candid talk! Our limited beliefs can be crippling to many of us preventing massive action.. External validation should be from within and then taken from the source.
Agreed, one person doesn't have enough time to make ALL the mistakes. We must learn from others.
I am grateful for the School of Greatness. This would be great in every schools in the world.
I'm planning on starting a business within the next six months. I know I'm greater than my current hourly wage. I've acknowledged the fact I'm not on earth to barely get by. I can truly live the "American dream" because I see the potential in myself. I don't see myself running a 7 figure business. But I'll get at least a comfortable 6 figures and I'll be content. Great video. Great motivation.
That coaching session at the end was great. Seeing such a successful guy like Alex open up and work through his limitations was amazing
I’m a master electrician, I leveraged my skill set into a business. It’s an amazing mindset they are talking about. If your life isn’t working. Listen to the men very closely. An implement it
This interview is awesome, I keep repeating it over and over again. Dissecting each part!!! Great information
Thanks for being here!
You could've looked at other videos to broaden your views instead of wating time watching this again.
@@ewlinitis ,,dissecting each part”
@@ewlinitis and would be lovely if you would share those other sources.
This interview should be included in any ‘Start & grow a business’ type of course. Alex just has this skill of taking complex things and explain them in simply how to tasks. Also, such a great example from Lewis about the pet sitter🔥🔥💣
24:45 - inspiring words about actually overcoming the fear of GETTING STARTED!!
Yea im gonna go suck right now
For those teaching this is also a great mentality to hold in your mind if your struggling with imposter syndrome. Think about the fear you faced starting and restarting. Even if you know you're still growing in your field, you know that those newcomers are their for the same knowledge, skills, experience, and pride for stepping out of their shell that you felt in your early years. Don't be blind to your limitations, but don't devalue yourself because of them.
Me ,on point!!!
