      Rick M. If you can control your amp from the app and can hear songs on the Spark from the app, you’re good.

      Don’t forget to tell people to use the tiny volume control on the right (next to the headphone emblem) side of the amp to control the volume. Otherwise, you’ll be like me and troubleshoot for 1/2 hour! 🙄

    I get no volume on the music knob, bluetooth connects but no sound. Tried factory reset, no guitar cable, resetting bluetooth, software update, i even chexked if the volume was turned up on all devices. Reckon the knob pot if busted?

    I've got my eyes on this amp to use on the desktop but also as multimedia speakers. I don't think my TV has bluetooth capabilities but seeing that the Spark Amp has an AUX input, can I connect that to the TV's headphone jack via a 3.5mm jack--->3.5mm jack cord to use the Spark as TV speakers?

    • @frankyforearmsnycnh1
      @frankyforearmsnycnh1 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can get a bluetooth transmitter than plugs into your tv's headphone jack to transmit to the Spark..No wires!

    Can you jam along to TH-cam and have both sounds coming out of the spark

    My Spark Mini came yesterday. I have no problems with the app as far as using the amp sims and all the tweaking that can be done.
    However I cannot get the Spark Mini to act as a Bluetooth speaker. I have tried to play music from my library or music from You Tube. I am using an iPad as my device. Made all the connections and pairings but still no sound. I was under the impression that I could play along to music from the Bluetooth speaker while using the app for my guitar tones. There must be something I am missing OR my Spark is defective. I’ve read and watched numerous tutorials without success. How can I troubleshoot this?

    while play a song from TH-cam thru bluethooth... can you still use de spark to jam over the song ?

    • @sparkamptutorials2169
      @sparkamptutorials2169  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes, absolutely! The Bluetooth connection is independent from your guitar input, but they both come out over the speaker (or headphones).

    Hey! Great tutorial! I have a critical question though. I want to pull the trigger on this, but I'm gonna use it as a BT speaker as well (for me and my wife to stream spotify to). This assumes easy connect/disconnect speaker to her phone or to mine. This has nothing to do with the pairing to Spark app to get all the guitar benefits. In short, I am going to use spark app to jam with spark and edit sounds, then I expect to stream music to it when I'm without guitar and THEN I expect my wife could easily connect to it and stream music as well (not at the same time when I'm using it obviously). So, can you tell if this kind of setup is possible? It is very important as there can be only one speaker at our place and at the moment we have Marshall Stanmore ii, which I'd be happy to change for Spark if only it will handle my requirements. THANKS!

      1 year and no comment/ answer yet? I have the same question about what is the sound quality, and since there are two speakers, does it stream in stereo?

    Does the amp have to be plugged in or does it have a battery? I'm wondering because since it's a blue tooth speaker also can I take it camping, to the park, etc?

    • @edparkins6269
      @edparkins6269 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, the amp doesn't have an internal battery, so it will need mains power. However, if you look elsewhere on TH-cam you will find there are people out there who have adapted the Spark by purchasing a powerbank and cable to connect it to the amp to make it battery powered. I've not tried it myself, but here's a guy who has th-cam.com/video/tahXivyDiDQ/w-d-xo.html

    Hi! How’s the sound quality of the songs if used as a Bluetooth speaker?

    • @sparkamptutorials2169
      @sparkamptutorials2169  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oops, sorry, I missed this one! I think the quality is just fine. It’s not an audiophile level of speaker, but it is better than a lot of other Bluetooth speakers out there, especially since that is pretty much a bonus feature. Most people would say it is a bit bass heavy though.

      Just the regular output volume when it is a Bluetooth speaker.

    I just got my amp but I have never used it and still on the box. But I want to know ...if you jam with spark app/amp can you actually record the session on the computer or does the jamming audio actually goes through the computer and hear it from the. Computer speaker output? Thanks

    • @sparkamptutorials2169
      @sparkamptutorials2169  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Jeffrey! It's sort of a complicated question, but I think it depends... I don't think the USB/DAW part of the amp will send any of the signal thats happening with the bluetooth audio functionality over to the computer. I think it only sends the guitar input signal (along with the effects and amp models), but I could be wrong. I have not yet played much with the DAW/recording aspect of this thing.

    Help
    New amp. Connected fine yesterday, today nothing.
    Reset phone network settings, forgot Spark device, reset Spark Bluetooth paring holding preset 4 and turning on. Factory reset per troubleshooting BT connecting spark help.
    FYI I only ever had one Spark device show in Bluetooth “Spark 40” I believe.
    BT indicator light on back of amp does nothing. No flash, no light. According to Positive Grid Bluetooth is disabled?
    Can’t find a fix.
    iPhone 11 Pro, IOS up to date.

      @sparkamptutorials2169  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh man! Factory reset is the only thing I could think to suggest but you clearly tried that already. Have you tried connecting with a different BT device like another phone or a tablet by any chance?

      Spark 40 will no longer show up on any device. Check firmware and up to date. The Bluetooth light on the back does nothing, no flash etc. according to the manual it’s means Bluetooth is disabled.
      Thanks for the reply.

      Hey Tim! No worries man! Thanks for checking it out and for the comment! Here is a link to the keyboard I am using. But I don’t think they make it anymore... iPad Pro 12.9" Tablet Bluetooth... www.amazon.com/dp/B017TU5HJ2?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

    Hey when I do this my playing via amp doesn’t come through to AirPods.
    So I have Bluetooth on via iPhone to Spark. Both connections. Can receive Spark mp3 types through to AirPods but actual guitar playing only comes through amp.
    Anyone?

    • @sparkamptutorials2169
      @sparkamptutorials2169  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Spark amp doesnt output audio via Bluetooth to your iPhone/airpods. Also, you can only connect your iPhone to one audio output device at a time, either your Spark amp or your airpods. Not both at once.
      Does this help answer your question?

      It’s fine as a bluetooth speaker. Better than a lot I’ve used. That said, it does have quite a bit of bass, so if you’re not into that it may not be your best option.
